This is my first time making stewed okra; it was delicious with the meat and vegetables. The meat adds flavor and the corn adds color, however, this is optional.
After adding the ingredients, allow the stew to simmer for 30 minutes. Once the recipe has simmered, you may add the corn and allow it to simmer for an additional 10 minutes. You may opt to use frozen or fresh vegetables (corn and okra) for this recipe.

Stewed Okra & Tomatoes with Sausage and Corn Ingredients
1 can of corn
1 can stewed tomatoes
1 can of diced tomatoes
12-18oz frozen okra or fresh okra
16oz smoked sausage
1/2-1c chicken broth
1/2c bell pepper
2-3 celery stalks
1 onion
1/2t black pepper
1/2t garlic salt
1t tabasco sauce
1t Worcestershire sauce
1t crushed red peppers
1/2T Creole seasoning
2 bay leaves
3 garlic cloves
***Follow the instructions in the video

Can I leave out the bay leaves

Already made this twice; it tastes the my mother made stewed okra. The only change I made was to use smoked turkey sausage. The next time I'm going to add chicken or shrimp. This is a winner. Keep the recipes coming.
