Congratulations on your charitable donations, that is very generous of you. I love Emily’s yarn, her stripes are perfection. Enjoying your vlogmas very much.
That's very kind of you to say 🥰 You are right about Emily's stripes!!!
Nancy you just the
right mix of laughter and entertainment! God bless you.
That is very lovely of you to say Lena 🥰
I too am enjoying these "snippets," and I have to laugh with you as you took a picture of an empty plate of pizza! I actually don't know how you find time to have a business, write patterns, knit, blog and have a life! I have to say your plants are gorgeous--I kill mine!! Congratulations on you donations!! How generous! And, your Zweig sweater is really pretty!!
My house is a mess and I don't clean as often as i should...LOL. That's what I let go 🤓 I am also a bit off a plant killer, but some things seem to do well. "See" you tomorrow ❣️
Haha, I think you’ve been sampling too much of your stock! I chuckle every time you say you are going to record the process. Love your exploits. Keep doing them. Only a week to go. Cheers, Diane 🎉🍷
Thanks Diane 💕 I get very thirsty talking about wine all day 😁
I absolutely love your videos, and especially your vlogs. You make me smile and laugh more often. I am from South Africa and love seeing your scenery and thought, by this time, you would have had much more snow. I look forward to your videos and now, vlogs too. Thank you for always cheering me up! ❤
That's to kind of you to say Rosemary 🥰 I think it's going to be a green Christmas this year 🌲 It is 13C and raining today.
Oh my word Nancy, the colours of those turtlepurl yarns 😍
Aren't they fab?!?!
Great vlog! Loved hearing more about your small business. Congratulations and thank you for your generosity on your pattern sales - these charities need help more than ever these days!
Thank you Carolyn 💕
That's am amazing donation. I love all of you're sock patterns.
Thanks so much Christina 💕
❤ I am so enjoying your Vlogmas. I really dig the wine bottle labels and the bottle bags. Your tree at work is fun and your tree at home is so beautiful. Still having amazing warm weather here in Western Canada, probably no white Christmas this year. Good for horseback riding at least. I am really impressed with all of the funds you have raised for charity with your patterns. As a new knitter I have not tackled socks yet and consider your patterns my dream knitting. All the best for the holiday season, Joyce
So kind of you to say Joyce 💕 It's 13 and raining here today, so I think a green Christmas for us as well 🎄
I am absolutely loving these vlogmas snippets. Congratulations on the donations 😊 thank you for showing and chatting about your business. I love the way you keep it very real, everyday chit chat and forgetting to record things 😅 especially the empty plate 😂😂 oh and i nearly forgot to say the yarny projects are looking so pretty. 😊
Thank you Gill 💕 It's so kind of you to say 😊
Good for you making such a lucrative charity donations for 2023.
I love doing it...thanks Becky ❣️
you're too funny!....LOL glad you forgot, again, it makes it feel good; i'll walk in another room to get something and forget. LOL Love your sweater, pretty colors
You will all fall over with the shock of it when I actually manage to do it 🤓🤣
I am enjoying your Vlogmas chats. It is a rainy Sunday, Dec.17 here in Ontario. I am entertaining myself by knitting Let’s Stay Home socks designed by you! Thanks for the free pattern. I saw a sample of this pattern at The Creative Knitter in Ridgeway, Ontario, lovely! My are made with West Yorkshire Spinners Signature 4 ply in Blueberry Bon Bon. Turning out so nicely, surcharges an easy but pretty pattern.❤🧶
We've got your rain today...looking like a green Christmas 🌲 I'm so glad to hear you're enjoying knitting your socks. Love West Yorkshire Spinners. I sent Stephanie one of my sample socks because the original ones were knit in her yarn. I really want to visit her shop!!
That is so wonderful about the donations Nancy! Wow. The gift of your creativity that keeps on giving! Your job is also very creative too. What a beautiful life. :) Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.
Thank you Leanne 🥰 We definitely feel very blessed in our life❣️ Wishing you a lovely holiday season with your favourite people 😊
Love your chats and projects! Thank you! 🎄😊
🥰
Love your Easy Peasy socks & enjoyed the background music in this episode!
Thanks for telling more about your business- I had no idea what a bottling appointment was 😂
LOL... and if I ever remember go record the process, you'll be able to see what I'm talking about 🤓
Hi Nancy, enjoyed your 3 day vlogmas seeing where you work and loving your Christmas trees. I am enjoying my advent knitting too. Hugs ❤❤❤
Thanks Linda❣️ I'll be looking forward to catching up with your makes during Twixtmas
I'm not big into vlogs, but I do enjoy yours 😊. I'm melancholy watching you talk about your work...we enjoyed wine...too much. Then it escalated when we started bottling our own 😢...turns out that having a couple of batches of wine in the basement for a few bucks a bottle was too much of a good time for us. I'm enjoying a zero-alcohol wine while I watch this evening...cheers ❤. My Christmas cast-on will be a red Coorie In Poncho 😊
Thanks Sandra 💕 Totally get that...I'm the same way with sweets, which is why we don't normally keep them in the house.
😍 That ranunculus is stunning 😍
Thank you❣️ It is my first mohair one
Nancy, I totally got the giggles about all your vlogging bloopers- missing twirls , missing wine bottling, missing pizza- the empty plate just cracked me up. Those easy peasy socks don’t look so easy peasy to me. 👀
I'm glad to hear Jennifer 🤓 We can all do with some smiles these days. My biggest issue is that life is pretty boring. I'm home all day again today and trying to figure out what to record 🤓
Keep up the boredom- I guess I like it. Lol! My life tends to be a comedy of errors. Good work on the charitable donations!
Enjoying UR vlogs,Nancy,,,
Fun,,,learning more about ur business,,,,
Take care,
Elaine 🏘🎄
Thanks Elaine 💕
New viewer. Nice to meet you 😀. I think it’s lovely that you donate proceeds to charity. Well done. I’m enjoying getting to know you. Not long now til the big day. Personally I’ll be glad when it’s done but it’s fun watching all the YT content. 🥰
Thanks for being here and I hope you'll come back after the holiday madness 💕
Another enjoyable video!
Thank you 😊
Thank you, Nancy.. you are funny in a good way x
It's fun to come and hang out 🤓
Love seeing these snippets during the holidays. Thank you for sharing your knits. Will definitely look up Easy Peasy sock as a first overall color work pattern to try and your advent sock is so fun and love your pattern Smoke Gets In Your Eyes. I haven’t decided yet about a Christmas Eve cast on or for that matter a new Years Day pattern.. I’m definitely leaning towards a year long throw and I really like the way you’ve done your jelly roll blanket so I may give that some thought. Have wonderful holiday season.
Thanks Sharon ❣️ I hope you have a lovely week leading up to the holidays
I’m enjoying your fun snippets
Thanks Noreen 🌸 That's lovely of you to say 🥰
Honestly you constantly forgetting to vlog makes me enjoy your vlogs even more 😂🤣
Haha!!! I'm glad 😊
Love it, just as you. 🇬🇧
Thanks Elaine 🥰
I’ve knit 4 Zweig sweaters - 2 solid with lace and 2 solid no lace; I love the pattern and have made tweaks to make it fit really well. Someday I might make it with contrast color lace section. I think craft wine must be so interesting, I hope you share your story of how you got into it - maybe you already have, sorry if I’m being redundant.
That's amazing! It's so good when you find the fit and modifications for you 😊 My parents started the wine business in their sixties, so we had been helping them and when they wanted to retire, we stepped in. We have no regrets, it's such a fun place to work.
Nancy your vlogs are just fabulous, your content is so amazing. Congratulations on your charity amount. It makes me laugh when you show your easy peasy socks because they look very difficult lol. Thank you for showing your advent socks and explaining the pattern you are using. Just a quick question how much yarn does your granny squares take?
See you next time ❤
Thank you Carol 💕 I'm enjoying it more than expected 😀 I'm using a 10g mini and holding the fingering weight double on itself to make dk/worsted
@@knitsiphappy Thanks Nancy not much at all, scraps here I come
You make the spinning look so easy! Did it take you very long to get that proficient?
I've been spinning for 5ish years and it takes time and practice 🤓 I find it so calming now, but when I started it was definitely not! It probably took about a year or so before I felt happy with the yarn that I made. I have always loved the process though
Is the easy peasy sock one of your pattern,l looked for it and I could not find? Can you share where I can find it ? Thank you in advance
HI Carmen 👋 It's not one of mine...it's a free pattern on Ravelry and if you go to the pattern search heading, you should be able to find it 🧦
