Girl I would love to see you make an entire house with cc. I really want to see what you can do with like all the freedom.
She's just reproducing content at this point. People ask her all the time to use cc, to use more packs or to use more money, but she doesn't listen. It seems like she just makes daily videos for the sake of it; quantity is more important for her than quality. It's disappointing because Kayla seems like a genuinely nice person and I just wish she listens more to her subcribers wishes, esp those that do not follow her on twitch.
@@Laflaneuse2 yeah I get what you’re saying but you also have to keep in mind the size of her following and most likely the age. Kayla is very kid friendly so I’ve always believed she’s made content knowing her biggest followers are folks who may not be able to afford being patrons of cc creators, etc as there is cost to a lot of things with the sims outside of packs. I like her cuz I feel yes she is sticking to her niche here on RUclips but also she understands her influence and uses it really wisely. Don’t get me wrong I would love the cc houses and stuff but I also know that’s not lil simsies thing
@@Journey2FindKay if anything cc would be more cost friendly because most of it free. I completely get where you're coming from and I still enjoy Kayla's content but it is very repeative, and I know I'm not the only one who thinks so. she also has an audience closer to her own age, and I don't think a couple of videos "catering" to them would do any harm. plus she reviews cc packs but never uses them so they never feel very genuine which is a shame
even just use the packs she owns. it's always the same basegame house
@@Laflaneuse2 you have to realize it’s completely her choice. The main point is not “listening to her subscribers wishes”, it’s doing what makes her happy and makes her want to keep making content. You can’t just go around ordering people to change what they’re doing and what they’re having fun with just because it suits you better. If you want a different sort of content, check out other sims channels too! There are loads of people who probably make videos that you would like. The great thing is you aren’t confined to just one channel, and you can also watch other types of content while still enjoying Kayla’s if you want to :)

Can you please try and do a more varied family than "parents + x kids" next time? I'd love to know what difference it could make in a building process :3 (like making bedrooms for grandparents, parent's siblings or just roommates for example)

I'd love to see that!!! Especially like a uni (UK) house with six young adults all chilling out,, or a young adult and their child sibling,,, or an elder and their teen niece. Nuclear families are cute and all, but there's so many more options :))

My next house in building is grandma and grandpa, mother and her twin toddlers.
when I saw six sims, I immediately thought parents, grandparent, 3 kids. But then she said 4 kids and I reverse eyezoomed.
This may not be as fun as I imagen but here is my build challenge: Get a sim with the paintings kill to paint one painting for every room in a house and design the room around the style and color of the painting. Maybe to make it extra challenging every painting must be in a different style.

When I was little I was living in like a 40 or 50 year old house with three bedrooms. It was falling apart and there was 10 people living there, it was Chaotic to say the least, too many people not enough money😅

I was so confused at first because I just saw the +1,000,000 with the money sound as she was headed to work. 😂 So now that household legit has 1,100,000 or so to just do whatever with forever. And it’s my first attempt at Not So Berry, gen 1 as an adult with a grandchild now a teen. I don’t think money will be an issue for future generations...

One time my sim got married to the winner of the lottery. When I merged households she had about $1,020,000. I didn't do that on purpose, I swear 😂. I was surprised! Then I built them a very nice house.

@@flw1522 my gen 4 is a scientist so he brought in about 15 k extra with him. The 30 k is for the lot and build, I have around 5 left. Its probably gonna be gained quickly.

If I'm doing starter homes I always get gallery art as if you get ones that are photos they only cost 10 simoleons and look beautiful. Would thoroughly recommend!

Simsie's Pro Tips
1. When placing a fence around stairs check that there is no fence under the stairs (if so, delete it)
2. When placing stairs (at least outside) delete the underside of the stairs
3. Size down doll houses (or any object if it is too big)
Did anyone notice in the second kids bedroom how the bed swatches changed after every cut 😂😂
you should do a vid where its just one box that fills up the whole lot and you have to make it look the best you can (maybe the ground floor has to fill the whole lot but you can do whatever shapes you want on the other floors!)
On one of those 50x50 lots for adding torment
you can use terrain paint for patio flooring to save more money its so helpful!!
I watch Kayla a lot, the way she always gives the tip(6:24) to remove the fence part of the under stairs in stairs yk to save money *every* build video she does, I adore it even though I know the tip by heart bc I have RUclips playing 24/7 in the background, but its still a helpful thing to anyone who plays the sims and I have to say, she is very persistent and real and an icon even if she only builds blue suburban's and does wall paper last (she is currently talking about wallpaper in the background as I type this essay (in college comp and no sleep so essay brain blahhh) ) anyway just thought id add some recognition to her for giving tips when she can. For challenges like this, instead of randomizing a sim, I would love if you picked a family w the number of sims off of the gallery! It adds more of a challenge because you could get toddlers or elders plus the sims will have more personality so you can theme their rooms!

Hi LilSimsie! You mentioned in the beginning, that you'd need a table for all 6 sims to eat at/sit at. Your result looks beautiful! But honestly, I don't ever have all 6 sims sitting/eating at the same time :D Realistically, at most 2 will be eating at the same time, so a standard 4 seated setup, or more drastically, a 3 seated setup should do the trick when trying to save space and money. What do you think?
this video makes me wants to see lilsimsie do something like a mix between the shell challenge and smth else. when you actually move into a place IRL, you're probably not going to be rearranging the windows and changing the floorplan cuz your couch doesn't look good. it would be fun to see her build the shell and finish the exterior completely, before furnishing or doing anything inside.
@lilsimsie You should do a challenge where you have to build the house windows, doors, kitchen, bathroom appliances. Then have to furnish it. So, No moving windows or doors to work around furniture. No adding windows. No moving around bathroom appliances or Kitchen appliances or counters. You basically have to build the house, like it would be in real life, then furnish it after.

Idea: a random number generator challenge where you go from room to room generating the number of tiles you can use for each room. Minimum number changes for each room, depending on the minimum amount of tiles you need to make that kind of room, for instance a bathroom CAN be made in 1 tile so that would be the minimum number, and for a bedroom you need like 4 tiles to fit one toddler bed. If you end up with a house of 4 toddlers and no adults so be it!

I would have loved a jack and Jill style bathroom in between the 2 kids rooms and then the parents bathroom be a hallway to the back door. I don't like having a exit in a bedroom. I've had one irl and it always made me nervous. Lol.

Idea, do a build where you randomize the number of tiles in each room, it would make an interesting and a challengin build for sure

Next time you do this, randomize another number for the amount of pets in the house!
For example: say you get 6 sims. You would then spin a number between 1-6 for how many pets those sims are (since pets take up a family slot) :)
the back bathroom should have a entrance to people use when they have a party :)

My main issue is that theirs not enough room for the whole family to sit in the living room
I feel ya about the cardboard cut out - my bf won an aaron rodgers (quarterback for the packers) life size cut out at a cancer auction once, and he sits in our garage and scares me every time i pull in O.o
