@@NicolaiBolas I'm relatively new to MTG and even though I was introduced to commander. I have really enjoyed playing limited and your channel was really helpful when i first started getting into it earlier this year!
Hey I am new to game and I have a question that limited set means we get no more way to complete this set or I have any other option to it please help me
I'd love to find a video where it explains how can I use the math and stats from 17lands (for example) and implementing it on my play. Like, how does the studying part work
Just played my first duskmourn draft last weekend and the tokens I got from gremlin tamer and glimmerlight wound up being immensely valuable. #duskdisciple
My level-up for this set was learning to speculate on signpost uncommons early in the pack. In the pre play booster era, I think it was typically correct to take the slightly less powerful mono colored card early in the pack to stay flexible. In the play booster era, a density of premium uncommons and rares is almost a necessity for a strong deck, with few exceptions. Commons matter much less than they did in the "before times". Only the most premium commons truly "matter" now. I'm not convinced this approach is better for high-level pod drafts. When everyone at the table is using proper pick orders, it still may be better to stay more flexible/open. Obviously, you need to be prepared to draft less desirable archetypes at a tough table as well. On Arena and in Draft Leagues, I think you should "shoot for the moon" as much as possible. For me personally, I lean too much into trying to draft the solid/scrappy 2-1 deck. Breaking this habit by adjusting my draft strategy will be my #1 focus for Foundations.
Making more speculative picks is something I’ve experimented with for sure. It’s a fine balance because you need to know what’s worth speculating on and that is so dependent on the situation. Good observation though!
It’s playable in a pinch, but usually best avoided. I’ve certainly used it myself, but for the sake of the example it was a good fit since it’s often not ideal.
I kind of think that create gremlins spell is meant to be something of an alternative Boros signpost (and an actual anthem effect) in a Modern gremlins tribal, possibly an alt Boros Energy. #DuskDisciple

Duskmourn was such an awesome limited set, thanks for all of these tips. they have been helpful.
And this is a great "lessons learned" video
I’m so glad you enjoyed the format and my video!

I’m glad you had a good experience with them!
I managed a 7-1 sticking with a UG dread deck and I was surprised how well it worked honestly shocked myself lol
This set was more fun to draft than I thought it'd be. I had about a 50:50 win ratio. #DuskDisciple
I went to the 50:50 timestamp but it took me to limbo
Brother did you slowed down the tempo of narration? :D When i put it on 1.25x it sounds like normal you XD #DuskDisciple

Still can't resist playing the Bedhead Beastie from time to time, it just filled a role in some of my Traditional Draft decks. #DuskDisciple

Heroic Reinforcements was a playable card in Standard, but I think buffing all the creatures was a factor with that one. I’m glad you liked the video!
#Duskdisciple. Keep it up Nico
I will! I’m so glad you enjoyed it!
#DuskDisciple your vids are very informative and help me a lot. Thank you
