I quite enjoy these videos. It's cool to hear stories I don't know already. Everyone knows the fight between the Hood and the Bismarck, or the struggle of Yorktown at Coral Sea and Midway. It's nice to get a look at some lesser shown ships with histories not as well known in the west.
+Jack Yeah I knew all that stuff already. The Battle of the Dogger Bank, the disastrous trip from the Baltic to the Pacific, hiding from their own reinforcements, and the death trap which was Tsushima. Those things are the kind of stories everyone already knows that I was talking about.
+Jack You need to look at the background. For conscripte peasants, the russians thought well. It is more than just incompetence of the russian crew. Read Frank THiess "Voyage of forgotten men" THis is a very good book. At the en even the commanders in Petersburg did not care anymore, and send them to die.
They completely left out the part where she was later refloated by the Japanese and entered service in the Imperial Navy as the IJN Suzuya, where she served decently until 1913, when she was declared obsolete and scrapped.
+devastator5042 yes because avoiding facts is the right thing to do. it's like not saying the Sherman sucked against tigers for Americans. maybe russians aren't that thick skinned as they used to be.
anyone else find it kind of funny that Jingles talked about the Russian fleet vs the IJN in this week's Mingles with Jingles? it's almost as if they planned it! o.O
I had lived in Portsmouth New Hampshire and have seen the plaque on the side of the building where the treaty was signed. Seems funny that the war treaty was signed so far from their home lands. And at a U.S. Naval yard.
What did we learn from this video? 1. WarGaming will not make a video in this series on non-Russian ships. 2. WarGaming is convinced that all the Russian shop in this period were overpowered, even though most had terrible design flaws. (Sarcasm)
@6:22 if the enemy is leaving and you are sinking they aren't retreating its them going home victorious. Other than that propaganda the videos are very good. There are snippets of history here though I am needing to filter some of the rah-rah. Yes Id like to see other navies but understand they are using a Russian museum. Perhaps they will hire international consultants to help with the other navies.
sorry wargaming has their own thumbs stuck so far up their Russian asses they think the Russian navy is the best in the world, and the russo-japanese war went perfectly well.
Can someone help me out, if you have ever watched baron play this game, do you know how he puts the name of the ship and its health above it cause by default it doesn't do that if you know anything pls help thnx
There's two ways of doing it: #1. Go to settings and check the box that says something along the lines of "alternative battle/user interface" or #2. Use a mod. Now you can just press the ALT key and it will show the name temporarily as long as the key is held down.
+devastator5042 True, but there's other museums around the world with large model warships - and plenty of people willing to talk for hours about all of them. Surely they could make the same kind of arrangement?
how about some ships form the world war one area, which are not rusian. some ship like HMS Invinceble,(first baltecruiser). or HMS Dreadnought the first Batleship/drednought. the story about sms seydlitz is also pretty impressive(german batlecruier with an impresive career). just some idee's but this vidio is pretty nice.
+Donnie Montoya what may work is that you tell what you think is wrong and then tell theme what they can do to improve:). and i bet that these story's are mostly made for the russian community becous that is their largest player base. i gues that de royal navy of the US navy will come after all the rusian hero's are known:)
wargaming if you add subs in to the game underwater it sold yours sauna and unable to see above water as it wold be stealth based game play harder than any other ship because your using a sauna to see where you going.
+dragon bore well there will be no "if". This has been publicly stated from way on top of the corporate wargaming food chain so there really isn't any need to say "what if"... If you are looking for a game with submarines then you need to look elsewhere. Sorry...
Well that being said, asking anyone how they would do a certain thing in a game that will specifically never do that certain thing is essentially what we called in the Navy as "flogging a dead horse". While you may truely like the idea of them in game, it tends to annoy the vast majority of the player base to ask about something that will not become. I think there are other sources of information about your subject you for ask about it. Asking in the way you did makes some people believe in, or at least contemplate, your lack of common sense.
I enjoy this game, but WHY?! The royal navy and the Kriegsmarine are so under prioritaised. The German ships are a mixture of ships that can easily be exchanged for really famous ships and u just keep screwing it up with wierd picings. Wheres the biggest most dominant navy in the world at that time: The Royal Navy? Warspite is so nerfed that its just so obvious what you are doing. The HMS Cambelltown, where is it, I cant buy it or see it anywhere. And then this Novik shows up! NOVIK! What kind of discriminating self senterd bullshit is this hegemony of russians dealing with at best a mediocre russian naval force (Im a maritime archaeologist). OMG. Please explain even thoug I know you discriminate critics as much as the naval history that would have given the game a logic and highly enjoyable element. Emphasizing the lack of logic! Its just very childish and sad.

Have you seen the newest mingles with jingles? It talks about this and how much of a fail it was(:

+Captain_Dorja I just thought it was funny how much fail they trip was
They completely left out the part where she was later refloated by the Japanese and entered service in the Imperial Navy as the IJN Suzuya, where she served decently until 1913, when she was declared obsolete and scrapped.
That would hurt their national pride, also with them getting their asses royally handed to them by the japanese in the ruso - japanese war.
lol did that really happen, no wonder they didn't mention that, they are little bitches
they did enough but why reopen a wound
+devastator5042 yes because avoiding facts is the right thing to do. it's like not saying the Sherman sucked against tigers for Americans. maybe russians aren't that thick skinned as they used to be.
+MonarchTherapsids Inostran they just have a lot of national pride don't like to be shamed
Another beautiful Russian ship. I love this series, and the naval legends series too. Learn quite a bit.
I hope the ship in game can have that white camo, its much cooler than the soviet red and gray camo.
Japan thanks you for the free cruiser.
anyone else find it kind of funny that Jingles talked about the Russian fleet vs the IJN in this week's Mingles with Jingles? it's almost as if they planned it! o.O
I was captivated by this story of this ship.
Jesus, i love the art style of these videos. i would love to have some as wallpapers!
I love this series! Keep em coming! :)

I'd like to see a video like this on Kongo, the ship yard that built her in the uk have a large model of her in the shipyard museum.
sorry bro the vids are only for communists
This was a realy cool video wargaming!
Best Russian ship presented so far. It actually saw combat more than once before it sank.
please make a video like that with the tirpitz/bismarck battleship!!
they would never show anything that isnt Russian because Russians have this sick delusion that the Russian navy it the best in the world.
@6:22 if the enemy is leaving and you are sinking they aren't retreating its them going home victorious.

Can we have some non Russian ships please. This show is like the Russian History Channel
sorry wargaming has their own thumbs stuck so far up their Russian asses they think the Russian navy is the best in the world, and the russo-japanese war went perfectly well.
There's so many of these videos about so many insignificant Russian cruisers.
Can someone help me out, if you have ever watched baron play this game, do you know how he puts the name of the ship and its health above it cause by default it doesn't do that if you know anything pls help thnx

+Tanker Hopkins: Bush of Trees thank you :)
For the love of all that is rational: SI units please.
que museo es el que sale en el vídeo?
The russian navy relied too much on the underpowered 152mm canet guns, instead they should have used the 8 inch guns
Why the Novik does not have torpedoes in the game? is supposed to have them in reality
We're eventually going to see some ships in this series that _aren't_ Russian, right?
No, wargaming has their own thumbs stuck so far up their Russian asses they won't do any other nations
+Donnie Montoya The museum they use may only have Russian ships look at naval legends for any other potential ships
+devastator5042 True, but there's other museums around the world with large model warships - and plenty of people willing to talk for hours about all of them. Surely they could make the same kind of arrangement?
im just sitin here waiting for it to come to xbox one
Swell.

+Rein Stradmeijer dude the whole game is made for the Russian community.
I'm pretty shor that other countries had ships in ww2 like the UK and unfortunately the French xd
HAIL HYDRA!!
wargaming if you add subs in to the game underwater it sold yours sauna and unable to see above water as it wold be stealth based game play harder than any other ship because your using a sauna to see where you going.
the game will never have subs in it! stop bringing it up get over it
Hay I'm just giving an idea I have to them it's not saying add them it's saying if you add them this is how I wold do it
+dragon bore well there will be no "if". This has been publicly stated from way on top of the corporate wargaming food chain so there really isn't any need to say "what if"... If you are looking for a game with submarines then you need to look elsewhere. Sorry...
Dr. Tankenstien it's not if it just how I wold add subs to the game I had a iedear and posted it as a comment

Two people talking at the same time - in two different languages - is VERY distracting. Basic dubbing would be much easier to follow.
