- In this video we will show you how to build a beautiful furniture quality quilt and blanket ladder that you and your family will be proud of. Compared to the usual "cheap, fast, and easy" projects you see so often, this one is simply stunning. And it's construction is so strong that you can stand on the rungs. It's top and bottom are designed to fit flush against wall and floor. The rungs are positioned perpendicular to the floor.
Best of all there is no math or complicated measurements involved. Angle layout is accomplished with a 1 X 4 scrap board and a simple shop made jig. Step by step instructions are clear and detailed.

Our channel offers videos covering woodworking, tool reviews, and DIY projects. With that in mind, our goal is to provide comprehensive and easy to follow instructions and information geared toward the beginner and the tool challenged, but if you are an old hand, you will probably still learn a thing or two.
I try my best to do woodworking, however I need practice, lol. So I thought I would try this. I have all the equipment I see you using, so that's a plus. My Mom passed away 2 years ago and left me some very beautiful quilts she made and they deserve a nice place to be displayed. Thank you for making this video! You are easy to follow in your videos. Thank you for having the patience for ppl like me. ☺
Thanks for the kind words. I often worry that I'm too detailed so it's nice to hear that its appreciated at least by some of my viewers. So sorry to hear about your Mom. I lost mine 20 years ago and I still think about her all the time.
Thank you so much sir, for showing us how to make the jig for this project. I think it will help me make this ladder turn out perfect. I'm so excited to try this build because I have always wanted one of these for my own home. Thank you again, sir.
It's a great project and the joinery is simple. My wife is a quilter and she has filled up the two that I have already made and now she want's me to build a wall mounted rack. Thanks for watching!
Nice video. I have the same miter saw. You seem to have a decent dust collection system. Have you done a video on how it works? Thanks.
Hello Mike! I have thought about doing a video on how it works and how to build it, but I think that will be a few months from now. It works quite well as long as you are cutting at either 45 deg. or 90 deg. which is 95% of my cuts. And thanks for watching.
