Funny how the one game jerma understands is the one that literally nobody else knows what’s going on
Took me a hot minute to figure it out. The game wants you to either sort the zoombinis based off of looks; or a matching puzzle where they have alt costumes. There's a few odd puzzles that don't follow the formula; berry wall wants you to make a few guesses and figure out how it's been sorted then find combos that work. Pizza Troll is all guessing; they tell you if they want more, hate it, or accept it; nothing too special.
The real Pizza Troll is Chat and Jerma will *never* get our orders right.

That was actually Infinite monkey #2. Infinite Monkey #1 wrote Jerma playing BOTW and TOTK back-to-back and was promptly meat-grinded.
15:34 Smurf lore expert here, King Smurf came into power while Papa Smurf was away. There was eventually a revolt against him, leading to a battle between the Smurfs loyal to King Smurf and the rebels. Papa Smurf finally returned during that battle and kinda just shamed King Smurf into renouncing his title and power.

Watching Jerma play Zoombinis is sort of like watching a very earnest but confused dog attacking a water sprinkler. It just sort of evokes the same kind of "he doesn't know what he's doing but he sure is trying" energy that makes it hard for me to get mad at him
Like a dog carrying a stick, that doesn’t understand that the doorway he’s walking through isn’t wide enough for the stick.
Thing is, the zoombinis could outnumber and annihilate the entirety of the continent if they wanted to. They’re simply too kind hearted to kill others ❤
It's funny to consider the lost legacy of the Zoombinis while knowing that the creators of it also made Carmen Sandiego.

That’s so crazy. These games were my childhood fever dreams, we had two of em (this one and mountain rescue i think?) on little discs we put into our family pc. I genuinely questioned their existence at one point. Someone should make like a deep dive into them on RUclips.
@@AnEmu404 What I adored most about the original versions of the game is that none of the challenges came with any instructions or a practice mode. The player was tasked to logic out the entirety of the game as it kept increasing in difficulty, as if they were traveling with the Zoombinis entering the strange unknown lands.
The series was obtained by The Learning Company after the first game, which is why the two sequels had a completely different art style. They also re-released the original with detailed guides on each level and a practice mode, which they carried on to both of the sequels. This was long before the version Jerma’s playing now, which naturally carries over the hand-holding tools from the re-released version while maintaining the original voice lines (adding a few new ones), and changing up the art style. It’s a pretty faithful remake, but I find the delayed timing of some of the animation jarring given how ingrained the original is in my memory. (I 100%’d the 1996 version twice.)

@@Hooy-JaymayMaybe. SotN's probably the easiest game in the series, super easy to just brute force your way through most challenges. The only parts I could see Jerma getting stuck on are like getting into Olrox's Quarters or destroying the bridge to get into the Catacombs. Then the Galamoth fight either takes an hour for him to beat, or is a first try victory

Holy shit. I have been looking for this game since I was in 2nd grade. I remember playing it once a week in my computer class, and around when I got into highschool I started trying to find this game again. I couldn’t remember the name, no every once in a while I would Google random thing about the game to find it, but never succeeded. I’m nearly done with college now, and Jerma is somehow the one who figures it out for me. I love you Jerma.

What's funny about this game is that it's barely a puzzle game, it's mostly just trial and error with a bit of pattern recognition thrown in. Which means it's the perfect level of complexity for Jeremy.
Jokes aside this series of games seem so cozy. I totally understand why Jerma loves it, it's just a funny cartoony puzzle game you can play and enjoy, the artstyle is very cool both on the original and the remake
this video understates how long he spent on each of these puzzles... and don't forget he tried to KILL the zoombinis by CRUSHING THEM WITH ROCKS...

that was so weird to me because I remembered a lot about this game but it felt odd watching Jerma play it like I recognized stuff but it was also different (like the pizza level, the original one had a weird mouth spitting the pizza when you made it, not just a wooden thingy). it's because he's playing an "updated" version of the game with different backgrounds and updated graphics

Reality and dreams converge and I don’t understand what I am watching. I still feel asleep. Thank you jerma985, I am confused about the nature of the universe because of weird smurf puzzle game.
Edit: I am getting more confused. I don’t like the hollow ambience of the game and nor do I like the strange noises that Jerma is making to imitate these small blue creatures. It’s making me more and more nervous because I don’t think the creatures have made a single noise, but he insists that they make funny sounds!
