Thanks a lot for this tutorial. ❤ I decided to decorate one of my walls with macrame and found this nice piece. I have never made any macrame before and did not know the names of the knots but it did not bother me, cause your tutorial was really clear. The only knot I had to look up separately was square knot. 😊 Instead of leather I used another colour of macrame cord and I also left the tassels out, because I am not such a big fan of them (yet). It took me about 10 hours in 4 days and I did not have to untie any knots. The overall dimension of my work is 1,10x1m. Really enjoyed your tutorial and I am probably going to make the other large wall hanging you have posted here in RUclips, just to warm up my own ideas and probably will continue to make them also in the future.
I love your works. You are very clear, you take your time in explaining the steps which is not seen on some of the tutorials...so thank you for teaching all who follow you you talent.
It's so beautiful and gorgeous. Thank you so much for the tutorial I am really happy I found your channel. I want to learn more about how you plan a project step by step, I saw your video about how to measure cords, but I would love to see how you plan and prepare for a whole project including choosing the cord, the colores, drawing, and measuring. I hope I am not asking too much.
Thank you for your easy to follow video, just ordered my cord and I have saved your video and I am going to do this project.. thanks again.. keep up the great work .
Hi Anna This is my first go at macrame, I love this piece and your fast method for double half hitch’s 😊 I have cut 8 x 3.5 m for the side piece and have run out of cord, should it be 8 x 7 metres? Anyway enjoying the journey Kaz
Hi Kaz, glad you like the piece and sorry to hear you ran out of cords there. You are talking about the cords that make the diamond shapes on the sides right? Those should be 3,5 m so that's weird that you ran out. Did you make the same amount of diamonds? I had six and two halfs on each side and then the one big one in the middle.
Hi Anna. I'm a new subscriber and have already learned a lot from you. You are my goto place when I need to figure something out. You're a great teacher. Thank you! I'm wondering, if I want to make this but smaller, would you recommend just using 3mm or 4mm cord and making the piece as is with the same number of cords, or do you think it would be better to stick with 5mm and just not use as many knots/cords? Thank you!!
That's great to hear 😊 I think I would go with option B - using the 5mm but doing fewer knots/adding fewer cords. My only reason for that would be to save time since this option would mean that you should be done a lot quicker than if you were doing the same pattern with thinner cords. For option A I think you would have to go with the 3mm to really see a difference in the overall size, I think the 4mm would end up being very similar to the 5mm.
So I am trying to gather the cord I need to do this one. I’m realizing how limited we are in the US. I would prefer to get oeko-Tex certified single strand but I don’t find it. So my question is. Will it still look good to use 5mm 3 ply instead of 5mm single strand for this one?
Hi Kim, I think it will still look good, just a little different. The fringe of 3ply cords is a bit more wavy since they are more twisted and overall the piece will have more texture to it. And make sure to tape all of the ends of your cut cords so that they don't unravel as you are working with them 😉 So what is the oeko-tex certified cord brand that you found?
how unnecessary. This is her channel and she's being kind enough to teach us with as many didactic as possible so no doubts get unanswered. There's plenty of other channels and videos with 0 talk for you to focus on, don't need to come here and mess or criticize something that is a huge help to a lot of people, mainly beginners

Thank you! You are not asking too much at all, I think it's a great idea for a video! I will definitely put it on my list 😉
But all you have explained is so very complicated for someone who is just beginning!! I have got to see your other videos to learn the knots!!!😊🇵🇹
Fingers crossed you will get there eventually!
How can I purchase something similar to this?
Thank you for your easy to follow video, just ordered my cord and I have saved your video and I am going to do this project.. thanks again.. keep up the great work .

Finally finished Anna 😊 a few mistakes but learnt heaps on my first go at macrame. It won’t let me insert a picture here but thanks
I 💘 your work !!! I have 1 question, where did you find your carry case you use to transport your work ???
Thank you 😊 I actually had that one made by a seamstress here. I came up with the design and got the fabric and then had them sew it together...
Fabulous ❤ this
Thank you 😊
Holy crap!! 😮❤❤❤❤❤ that's totally amazing!! You are delicious a girl after my own heart! BRavo!😊
Will you do a tutorial on how you made the green chandelier that hangs in your videos plz :)
I have it on my list! I just can't promise when I will get to that one, maybe in the next two months or so....

@@annabaginova01 Thank you very much! l'll let you know how it goes :)
If I use 4mm cord do you think that a driftwood with 115 cm can be enough?
I think you can make it work, you might need to make the sections more narrow to fit everything in....

Aku sangat menikmati tutorialnya tanpa ada musik sehingga bisa lebih fokus pada penjelasannya .. ❤❤
thank you for the feedback :)
I made your design and wanted to show you. There are some modifications. I don’t know how to send it though. I can’t paste it here
Sempre surpreendendo 😍
Lindo ❤️🇵🇹
thank you so much :)
Can you name all the knots youbused in this project, it would be a great help.
There were four in this one if I'm not mistaken - the lark's head knot, the double half hitch, the chinese knot and the square knot
Lindo muito lindo.
Thank you Maria 😊
