I picked up that 13k watt Predator. My son is on a ventilator and has a lot of specialized equipment that sucks up a lot of power. This thing kicks ass.
Hope your son gets better! 🙏
I'm glad it works for you God bless
I have the Bauer Jointer and their planer as well. What a nice combination of tools. I am just a beginner doing simple things like flags, no fine furniture making. or anything like that. For what I was looking for they have been great! I needed to straighten out some really twisted cedar boards and by using the jointer and planer I was able to get some really nice square straight boards to work with.
I'm glad to see you back in the saddle, buddy!
I need my DOT at least once a week!
You've definitely been missed!
Welcome back!🙏
I was at harbor freight today, and I saw that 13,000 watt tri fuel generator. I was scratching my head and saying to myself, this wasn't here yesterday.
Same for the new 4400 PSI pressure washer. I don't recall seeing that either before yesterday.
Track saw in any line would be nice.
This
Email the company. I did. Tell them you want a Hercules cordless track saw
Thank you 🎅Santa for all you do informing the public on tools. I love watching you on RUclips. Keep your head down going over Ukraine.
Man that US Gen Mini tool box would be great sitting next to my Bambu Labs X-1 Carbon 3D printer for holding printing tools and at that price is almost as cheap as printing a storage box.
Agreed. I’ll be doing the same as soon as they are back in stock.
Asked for my first Hercules tool for Christmas: the cordless ratchet. I do wish it was 20v but as someone invested in the dewalt ecosystem I didn’t really want to pay 200+ for theirs as it wasn’t long reach and the battery position is pretty bad imo. I thought about doing the bauer but wanted a step up. Excited to try it out and I don’t think having its own battery and charger is too big of a deal. They need to add more to the herc line
Bought the Hercules dust extractor a couple weeks and I have been super impressed with it!
I've been using the dust extractor for about a month now and it's been a game changer for me!!
How so? I've been running a shop vac through a cyclone 5 gallon bucket and the space it takes up is too much, been thinking about upgrading but the cost is not insignificant...
I have the Bosch 1617 router set, and then also a Makita quarter inch compact router. I had the Makita router a couple years before I even used it. The first use was to cut out hinges for a door. I found it was a pain to have to run an extension cord where I was doing it. So I picked what up the Hercules 20 volt brushless compact router for free with the battery and charger. I think I have all their tools now. I didn't need them as I am in Ryobi heavily, I just felt like having them. LoL
I'm starting into the Ryobi line so far the basic drill/driver, and 1/4" impact driver, just got the high torque 1/2" impact that is from their HP line, and came with the 4AH HP battery and a charger for $140....the tool only was $220 WTF...but hey for cheaper and get a battery and charger I'll take it LOL...that dang impact wrench is heavy, I think heavier than the Dewalt was that I used to have.
As an owner of a leatherman charge. That Gordon is awesome and I would definitely save my money. Only thing I wish it would have is replaceable cutters
To be fair though, replaceable cutters (or any parts at all) is a REALLY premium feature on a multi-tool.
The Hercules corded lineup is solid for my DIY needs. I'm just breaking out the corded handheld bandsaw and also the frame that turns it into a much more useful tool.
The Hercules combo with the 2 5 ah is a fantastic deal really well built sorry I have the brand name that starts with M and is red and the fit and finish is comparable and is a great buy works just as good in my opinion.
I think your ideas for that little mini toolbox hit the nail right on the head, so to speak. I use mine to hold the little tools, torque and hex wrenches and all sorts of tools that are needed to adjust shop tools such as change a saw blade or adjust tension, etc. on shop tools such as table saw, band saws, etc.
Haven't used the Herc trim router yet, but I picked it up on the battery/charger deal. Tip: p/u a couple of the plastic ammo boxes as cases -- $2.50 on sale -- the router fits like a glove as if it were made for it. and the other for the accessories and bits.
I managed to yoink that truck bed compressor for $780 this past weekend. Do I need it, probably not, but I'm sure going to have fun with it!
I was looking at the Bauer 9" bandsaw today. What impressed me about it was that it has metal doors, all of its competitors have plastic doors. It just made me more excited about the upcoming 14" bandsaw.
The plum crazy purple is the story of the year!
I also looked at that Drill press and thought that it was nicer than my old Porter-Cable
I showed up at my local HF at 8:05am on Friday and got the very last Black Mini Toolbox. I am using it for my knife and EDC gear and I can't wait to get a couple more the uses are endless. They would also be a great stocking stuffer if they were available.
Titanium hammers are also used in areas where flammables are present. They don't spark.
Huh, I had not heard of that before, it was always brass or plastic when I worked in no spark areas.
@DracoOmnia I've seen that used as well...must have cheaper alternative.
The thing that bothers me... why does Bauer get so many cool and useful accessories in their 20V line and not Hercules?
Inflator, USB/120V AC inverter, etc... They always seem to have more options instead of for the guys like myself that invested in the "Best" line.
Well, hey there!
yep, wish i had bought into bauer instead of hercules 20v.
Well, Hercules gets less gimmicky stuff but does get some more useful stuff. Battery band saw? Not in Bauer.
I'm hoping that they will put out the inflator, 4-inch circ saw, and the desk top rotary tool that are available in the Bauer line for Hercules... for those of us in the Hercules line, patience will be key.
@ i’ve been considering getting one of those battery adapters on ebay that let you use batteries across lines. i’m sure someone makes one that lets you attach hercules batteries to bauer tools.
Just bought the predator 350 power station. And so far, I love it! Not the most powerful, but perfect for my uses
Awesome video thank you for all of the information. I want to try some of the Hercules tools and see if they are as good as my Dewalt
Wish they would release more colors of the mini tool box
Would absolutely love a yellow one with chrome trim
For service trays; I've bought $25 trays used by nail salon type places and they work fantastic. Plastic rust free on the bottom, stainless on the top, use for a few years and toss it and get a new one. For the bigger tools you're better off buying used on marketplace. A lot of great Taiwan tools; even some old American iron once in awhile. I just picked up my Icon 3/8 metric medium length socket set can't wait to take that for a spin.
A HF version of the mud mixer would be awesome
I'm looking forward to those new backup batteries tool, my wife started working from home and our power goes out a few times a year, getting a whole house instant backup or battery system is insane rn, so I got a couple from Anker. Something like 1.5kwh for around 1.5k was a bit absurd but for ease of installation and use (literally just plug between the wall and devices that need constant power, computer, starlink, router etc) it is brilliant. However I hedged and agonized over the brand and size FOREVER. having a physical store I can actually work with would have made that a LOT simpler, although Anker has been exceptionally good to us in terms of customer service. No regrets, but now I'm looking at the travel trailer and such so I'm excited to see how big HF will go with those batteries
Waiting for a 12v multi-head assembly tool. More. 12v in general would be great incentive to buy into the line.
Harbor Freight is really stepping up their game!!
I got that 12Ah Bauer battery on sale for about $90 on sale - less than the 8Ah. I don’t really need it for tools, but some products have emergency preparedness uses and that would give me a good long runtime in a power outage.
I can’t loose my mind over this mini toolbox until I can get my hands on one…lol!
On Black Friday my store had a stock cart full of them when they opened, by the time I checked out, about 15 minutes later they had about a dozen left, and they said they started out with 60 of them...I got a blue one, have no clue what the heck to use it for, love the color of blue though....probably it'll sit at the computer desk and I'll use it for desk accessory storage I guess LOL.
The Hercules dust collector. YES YES YES
Glad they extended the black Friday sale and now it in-store and online. Ordered the icon 3/8 & 1/4 general service sets
Welcome back … Great to see you back in the saddle!!!
I have been holding out for the 14 inch bandsaw. I just hope it's good and priced right.
That pruning chainsaw must be pretty new. I’ve been looking for something like that from Bauer. All I had seen from HF that was similar was that pole saw.
The mini toolbox was on sale for black friday but was unavailable to buy.
Good to see you back, Bear ! Stay Healthy!
One of the products I’m hoping will go on sale is that Bauer cordless mini circular saw. I think that would be lighter and easier to use than a large corded circular saw for most of my use cases.
The push button slip joint pliers you mentioned were Icon not Doyle so the sale and coupon amount might be different than what you quoted great video and it's good to see your health is improving
I picked up the corded version of that little Hercules trim router and it is awesome.
I have the battery powered Makita version in that same size when I need to ditch the cord, but in the shop I end up grabbing the Hercules more often than the Makita because it feels just as good in the hand and the design of the collet seems to grip the bit better than the Makita’s (the Bauer version also uses the Makita style collet).
I do wish HF had a plunge base for it but I’m sure that will come eventually.
I'm using my mini tool box for my SAE, metric wrnches & Impact rated socket set.
I want the mini tool box in orange. Was lucky enough to get a black one I keep in my closet for my edc stuff.
I can't forget when u first came out in your Bear outfit
I have that Hercules router, I love it. I prefer the design of the Dewalt, but for the price, the Hercules cannot be beat.
I love all of my Hercules tools, I really want the new cordless 10" miter saw. I've been waiting for a Hercules version since HF released the cordless 7-1/4" version for Bauer. I already have one of the 12Ah batteries for Hercules I'd just need to get a second if I were to get the miter saw. I see they also recently released a new electric Bauer pressure washer that's rated for 3,000 psi to go with the other two models they've had. That looks enticing too.
Seeing "in stock in Bozeman" gave me a start! Somehow I never noticed that you're here in Montana. Go figure!
What i would love to see is a 1/2" cordless hercules ratchet i have the 3/8" an the 1/4" in the short and the long in both drives
I have the Hercules nibbler and it is amazing. I wonder how it compares to other brands.
I have that Hercules combo set. High quality set have had it for about two months now only issue I’m having is one of my batteries are bad. I’ll get it swapped out no problem their warranty is top of the line. The tool itself is on par with dewalt. Matter of fact the guy I’ve been working for his dewalt impact burnt up. Harbor freight impact saves the day again.
Mini tool box….night stand. Keys, Wallet, knife and all your edc. Nice to keep all in one place. 10 bux Black Friday. Can’t beat it. lol.
That Bauer 17-in drill press impressive
A Bauer or Hercules battery powered "air duster" would be a slick addon to the line
Mini-tool box is not available in my area, but I really want one. Same for Hercules Dust Extractor. The new Bauer Dust Collector looks like an upgrade from the Chicago version, but I'm hoping for a Hercules Dust Collector with HEPA filter -- those would sell out as fast as they could make them.
Power station for me, waiting for the larger ones to come out
Thank you for the video. Have a good day!
I want a set of 6 ton jack stands in purple. They have purple 3 ton, but no 6 ton yet.
I'd like to see a 2x20v 10 inch tablesaw with cart stand to go with the miter saw. A track saw, hand planer, belt sander, and an updated 12v driver line.
Off road service cart that can be leveled would be nice. Job sites and rock/dirt driveways aren’t small wheel friendly.
Cant you just replace the casters with offroad types? 😂
I wonder how much running time you could get from the Baugher 12ah battery paired with the Baugher inverter.
The answer is "a lot" that 12ah battery runs the leaf blower well over an hour on high.
I have the Hercules 20v trim router. I'd put it up against anything out there. It would be nice if the offered a plunge kit for it.
Was hoping after the Black Friday sale was over there would be some Quinn coupons ut now have to wait another week.
Are we going to see a Bauer 14" band saws?
The pruning saw is going in my bug out bag.
Closest I'm gonna' get to a "Ripper" from Fallout =)
I use my mini tool box for all my RC rock crawler parts and tools
Are the mini tool box’s coming back or are they done for now.?
All I want is a Hercules worm drive saw
So glad to see you back. YO!1
Why wasn’t there a big sale on icon boxes?
Dame Harbor Freight FTW 😂😅😂
I use my mini toolbox for my oscillating multitool stuff.
They need a one or two year standard warranty included on those bauer brushless tools - no extra charge.
I would l love to see more or improved 12v Hercules tools
Lookin' good there, jeff!
I wish they would revamp the Hercules 12v impact and drill 😊
I have a request, I feel you have harbor freights ear. We need a quality Hercules cordless pop rivets gun. Every racer and sheet metal guy would have to have one. Also harbor freight sells the Doyle nut rivets tool, the mandrels ( especially the small ones where out) i use these all the time, it would be nice if they would sell mandrel separately. Thanks for listening.
A lot of exciting new tools coming out Harbor freight has come a long way the last several years.
My watches in top with the lid staying up on my dresser.
While grabbing a box of nitrile gloves for $4.98 tonight, I walked around a corner and saw the big new gas-powered 30 gallon compressor. Happy to say, I don't need one, but if I did, it looked nice.
"thermal runaway" lol. I'm going to ask my gf if she is having one next time she is flashing. Ah, middle age is fun.
The mini chain saw Does Not Have The Oil Reservoir
"It's a Beast" LOL
Waiting for 1/2” general service set from icon!!!!
I'd like to see a 23ga 20v pin nailer. The Dewalt one is like $300. I expect a Hercules one at $150-$175 would kill. I would also like to see them release the Hercules 20v right angle drill that's been in the marketing materials for almost 4 years now.
Anyone else see a problem with the bauer pruner chainsaw the angle of the blade? Seems like you won't be able to get access around some branches due to the blade angle interfering with the 90 degree angle of the grip. I don't know about this one, I think it's going to be limited because of the handle / blade form rather than power or anything else.
It's hard to understand exactly what these generators can run and how long
Did you mean icon not Doyle when you were showing the icon plyers
Just asking to may have meant what you said
It seems like most of the tools coming out are in the Bauer brand. It seems like the Bauer prices have gone up also and most of the Black Friday power tools are Bauer. When will they release everything in the Hercules brand.
Would love to see Hercules put out a dual voltage mag drill...
I have the older Central Machinery mini-lathe that is variable speed...back when they were $130...I should have bought 2 of them...$600 is ridiculous for that lathe, they didn't change anything on that Bauer model to justify a price increase like that.
prob w the trifuel generator is its not inverted..
@DenOfTools - Jeff, it's only appropriate that I say it once again - all these new tools and Harbor Freight still can't bother themselves to expand the Atlas line with a proper two-stage 80 volt snow blower, or any snow blower for that matter. So frustrating to those of us who took the bait and invested in what seemed like a line that would expand nicely!
If Harbor Freight is serious about competing with all the "big guys," they really ought to round out some of the glaring omissions in several of their lines.
I REALLY want to say goodbye to my gas powered two stage Ariens, which is an excellent blower - help persuade them, please! 😉😎
I’ve still never found the Gordon multi tool in store.😂
Same here.
Yep. in stock... no where.
@ vapor ware just like the mini tool box.
I got one for $32 when they first came out, haven't seen one since.
@ When they are finally in stock they’ll probably be 25% more.
Enjoying the Bauer 20v 3/8 rachet so far! I picked it up in the store and the build quality sold me on it. Not the most powerful, but I like the ergonomics and I haven't had any capability issues with it yet.
When is the 1000lb hydraulic cart coming back?
Battery Technology is really moving fast.
The Gordon multi tool hasnt been in stock since it launched and is out of stock everywhere. They must be having some serious issues with that item considering it hasn't been restocked since its initial shipment of 4 to every store.
The dust extractor will be a 2025 purchase for me
