I picked up the Kobalt 50 piece. 1/4" kit for $9.98 just to throw in the truck. My Lowes had plenty, but rang up full price $19.99. Told the cashier it was a deal of the day along with the 55 piece socket set, he said he would see what he could do. Came back at the $9.98 plus he knocked of another 10% off! Plus my 5% Lowes Pro discount. $8.49! Nice set for the truck! One thing I didn't like, the tools are really tough to get out of their clips that keep them in place, though it does keep them from falling out of their spots. Will probably get better with use.
@@jimharper9609 My Lowes is pretty solid with honoring that stuff. I got $40-60 off a welder once because they didn't remove the signage from a holiday special. :)
The sockets get easier after a few times. To get the ratchet out, take the driver out first. You can insert the ratchet on its side, or put something like a glasses cloth under it before you reinsert it, f you don't want to have to do that in the future.
Just ordered one of those Hyper Tough packout stacks. Thanks for recommending it. I wasn't totally in the market, but wasn't NOT in the market... you know how it is. LoL
The Den of Tools.... Some cool deals there. I have that Flex quick eject impact driver and several other Flex tools and I have to say, they are awesome.
100% on the old school plug-in drills. I have a drill from skill that is plugged in from about 20 years ago that my dad bought me. It’s a beast. I drilled through my concrete driveway with it, about 8 inches if I had to guess. It’s incredible. I rarely use it, but when I do it is very much worth it.
I highly recommend the Wiha mini screwdriver set, they’re the only ones I’ve used that don’t snap or twist on me when using them. Also make sure to double check that makita 3/4” hammer drill it said the voltage was 240v!! Most people don’t have 240v in their house or shop
Those little Workpro folding razor knives are great. They are really thin and lite and they flick open easy. I sometimes carry one to save wear on my regular knife.
I have the headlamp. Freaking love it so much, and every time I break it out, everyone is obsessed with it. Very long periods between charges, like, hours. Can’t recommend enough!
I had to add a stupid low price deal at Lowes. The Dewalt 20 volt XR oscillating tool kit with a battery and charger on sale for $89.00. The tool alone is $169. so it's a killer deal. As well, Home Depot has the Milwaukee 1/2 inch Mid-Torque Impact wrench kit with a XC 5.0 battery and charger for $189. as a deal of the day today. Also at Home Depot has the Dewalt DCD 850 impact driver kit with a 2.0 powerstack battery and a charger for $149. again one of today's deals of the day.
I’m a huge fan of over the ear earbuds, totally worth the sacrifice of a little sound quality for more comfort and better awareness of your surroundings. More hygienic as well 👍
Part of me wants to get a new set of appliances, but I know they won’t be as reliable or as long-lived as what I’ve got now - early 1990s Kenmore. No modern fridge is gonna purr along for 30+ years. You’re lucky to get 10.
Did anyone mention to you about the EGO Z6 zero turn riding mower at Lowe's. I ordered one from Lowes last Thursday for $1999. The regular price is $5500. I don't see anymore on sale at Lowes near me today.
I bought the SK duckbill pliers at the sale price. They are good. And they're also mase in the USA. Western Forge manufactures them. SK's USA made pliers are either made by Western Forge or Wilde. I also got the 10" regular slip-joint pliers on sale, and they're by Wilde.
Picked up different gearwrench 90T set (20 piece metric/sae) on clearance from my home depot few weeks back. Wow, could not recommend those ratcheting wrenches enough. Also, picked up Klein scissors and the short blade utility snips at Lowes and really like them. Been using the Crescent shears and Milwaukee scissors but Kleins seem to be very nice.
I just received my KFMK bench sander grinder today. seems solid and up to the work I need it for. belt tracking is working well and the adjustment is easy. was packed for shipping very well, with no foam which is nice. only complaint, The 7" sanding disk came off the machine in shipping and got stuck to a plastic bag making it unusable, but that's like a $1 loss. ( it came with quality norton brand disk and belt by the way) I have a bucktool 4x36" sander to compare to. the bucktool is better quality. the KFMK is more versatile since you can use a number of differing areas on the 2" belt to sand different shapes, and key for me can access the edge of the belt. where the bucktool version has too many guards to allow this.
Went to Lowe’s was told the 50piece kit is only an online deal. The cashier said go into the parking lot and online to get the price of $9.98. Asked to speak to the manager she said they are not supposed to do it in store but she did an override. Thanked her, and she said it’s to drive online business. Lowe’s you are beginning to suck
For anyone in the same boat as me, I just went on the Lowe's website, clicked the chat assistant, talked to an associate, and tried to see if they would honor the sale prices and they could not. Womp womp.
So is the reason why you only use 1 of the lytmi ear buds because you can't get both of them to connect at the same time like the set I just bought?. Bought the wife a set too. Both of those connected however 1 is much louder than the other
Never had that issue. I’d contact them for a replacement. I use one so I can listen to it till it dies and then swap out the other one I don’t need my audiobooks and stereo.
So I picked up those headphones for the wife, and they are indeed pretty quiet. I have a pair of Psier off of Amazon, that are 2x as loud. They are solid plastic instead of flexible. I figured I’d get the Lytmi for the wife, since they were newer, but def not great sound. The psier are the same price usually, or $30 on sale
I would have recommended you grab an induction store. You might have had to upgrade the circuit but it is better than gas. I put one in and will never go back. My wife complains that it heats up too fast.
Bear, please contact Klein and ask them WHY they do not produce magnetic nut driver sets IN METRIC SIZES. They only make magnetic sets in Imperial sizes. I already have the magnetic sets in Imperial and love them. WE NEED METRIC!
I used to like you until you started talking crap about the Buckeyes. Just kidding, I do like your RUclips channel you give honest feedback about everything.
Y'all needa start using a price tracker extension cause a lot of these sales are fake. They just put a list price that's higher then claim it's on sale. one example the SK screwdriver set hasn't sold for $66.99 since December of 2023 and it only briefly reached that price due to increased holiday demand since it launched 503 days ago at $54.99. Meaning it isn't actually on sale, it's just it's normal price and has been selling at that price for almost a year now. Doesn't sound like a hot deal to me. I could comb through more examples but I'm sure y'all get the picture, get a price tracker.
8:56 is a horrible deal. Regular price is $49.98 at Lowe’s and they were on sale for $29.98 for a while before Christmas. You might want to start doing a little bit of research before saying how good of a deal some things are.
I used to like you but after your horrible comment towards the Buckeyes I may need to re-think that. The Craftsman inflator is NOT a deal! The list price on Amazon is totally bogus. Sells for $49 everyday at Lowe's. On sale, it has been as low as $30.
If you’re taking food or snacks or just stuff to the river or soccer field, the hypertough or Hart rolling toolbox is perfect
