Just seeing her with this really big dog (at least he’s really big to her) and the affection between them it seems they both would be heartbroken if they had to be separated from each other. @@jaysmith2858- take a good look around and you'll see many people helping others. Gracie is lucky - these poor cats are usually put down.
So this is a Very Good Thing on so many levels.

@@pawwalker3492 As someone who is disabled/medically unique, and someone who has known (often very closely) others in a similar position, I know for a fact that many, if not most disabled people don't get the help they need.
The disabled are often seen as 'dispensable' as some see animals (be they disabled or not), however disabled people are never seen as 'cute'. They/we are usually seen as an annoying, costly burden, one that others really don't want to have to deal with in any way, shape or form.
@@jaysmith2858 - I do agree that most don't get the help they need - and I kind of thought that's where you were coming from. But from my perspective, and including myself, there are many out there who care about others. I hope you connect with someone like that. You deserve that.

Given the progressive nature of my issues (I've actually developed a number of new ones of this last week alone), my advancing age, having zero friends and no family members that care, plus people becoming increasingly selfish, I don't think any help will ever come my way.
Animals are AMAZING the way they persevere despite significant disability. And the able-bodied ones tend to be accepting and compassionate toward them. Gracie and London have a beautiful relationship!
Im not sure how thats any different from humans? Humans also persevere despite significant disabilities. And most able-bodied ones tend to be compassionate as well.

This little sweetheart is a colico - here in Germany we call them lucky cats 😻... And this little girl Gracie is definitely lucky - she has a very sweet and patient friend (London), a loving and caring family (you) and she has a forever home 😻🤗! I love it ❤

Looks like Gracie has "swimmer syndrome" with her little legs splayed apart like that. It can be rehabilitated with the physio she's doing. I think Kitten Lady did a video on this type of condition. Kittens with this physical issue can lead a beautiful life, especially with all the love and care like Gracie's receiving. Kuddos to this wonderful couple for keeping her! 🐱❤❤❤
I have a kitty named Grace that has never gained use of her back legs, but she's 12 years old now and going strong. I love my special baby so much, she gives me back so much joy and love!

Yes, I express (squeeze) her bladder under her belly. I learned quickly after she developed a urinary tract infection.

German shepherds that are raised with other animals are so gentle to smaller animals. Our boy's slept with our ferrets and my daughters rabbits would play in the yard with them.

I had a kitten which was unable to walk even after one month because of her back legs like this cat in the video. Then I surfed the internet for similar cases and found that it's congenital defect. I was worried about the poor soul so I tried some exercises and massaged her feet and slowly she started walking. God blessed her through me and I felt so blessed those days I couldn't believe it.
I love Dodo stories, always cheer me up. She's doing so well now thanks to you.

It takes an extra special kind of love to take on a special needs animal and see it all the way through, to either adoption or you end up with another faithful friend!💞

So cute and so good! Animals are the most resilient creatures in the world! Especially cats and dogs for some reason even more then some wild animals which is crazy to think about. Of course wild animals have the strongest will to survive but still this is just so amazing.
They are born with the heart of a lion, and their resilience is inspirational.
When they are perfect in your eyes, they become the beating of your heart.

I honestly don't know how anyone can foster a dog or cat and then give them up after that. I don't really like cats but i don't think I'd be able to give her up after all that. I don't know how some people are able to do it but I bless them all the same. We need people that can do that in this world.

As much as we love them, we cannot replace the special relationships they have with other furr babies. They really connect thru the furr. All their nourishment, safety and eventually mating needs are naturally met thru furr. We can meet some of that need, but not all, and it's not really instinctive. They have to learn.

Gracie is beautiful. London is gorgeous. We always had German Shepherds and cats.... And had no problems etc... Except for kittens who got bathed regularly by big GSD tongues and were soaked through.... They slept together, played together and walked together. It's a fab bond between animals especially when one needs so much care love etc...
