OMG I would never expect or even want my children to take care of me "someday". Is that what you think they're just dying to do? Believe me, they aren't. I don't care if you're the best Mother in the world, please pay for long term health care.
Not every adult is equipped or able to care for an elderly parent especially if the parent has serious health issues.
It's much easier to care for your children while you are young and healthy but a different story when you are older and maybe not healthy yourself and are expected to care for your parent(s). It's seriously worth thinking about.
I think what I was getting at was maybe more in the context of being there for our parents when they need us, not necessarily give them long term care, but maybe more so just be there for them in little situations, like a ride to the doctors office, or just little things that maybe are able to extend their stay at home for a few more years. I agree that providing long term care would be extremely difficult.
You've got your hands full for sure! Hopefully you can get a wake up schedule going where you're not trying to please alll 4 at once. God bless ya!
