I've been playing for about three weeks and WAS enjoying the game for the first two...then I hit the bottlenecks. Gold is the worst, but not the only one. Right now it takes me about a combined five minutes a day to do everything I can, and by the way, none of it is fun or challenging. Even Arena is as repetitive and stale as you can get. Those who remember the early days of SWGOH will recall that we had a good Arena experience, Galactic War that was a daily FUN challenge with great rewards, and focusing on finishing the light and dark side champagnes wasn't hindered by having to focus farm specific characters from day one. Unless CG makes some significant changes this game won't last a year.
I hear you. It's incredibly frustrating to have such prominent bottlenecks on launch and so little content.
you kinda forget to mention or dont take into account that yellow energy is also half price from blue energy so actualy efficiency for gold to crystals spent is not that different for blue/yellow energy if you are planing to do energy refreshes

I'm lvl 54 and I've got a 30k power RtR team. All gear 7, Pip 7* and the rest 6*, but I'm soo broke that I can't level skills or even level the team. I'm forced to level unused fodder champs to complete dailies. I currently need 123k to level Merrys basic to 7. Takes multiple days of saving to accomplish anything.. Smh. They've become incredibly expensive.

I'd stop at 3 stars unless you need higher stars for an event.

Marquee events are a one time thing. If you missed her event, you'll need to wait for her to be available in gem supplies or when she becomes farmable.
I have more xp problems then gold😅
Yeah, those costs get ridiculous at higher levels. I'm basically taking characters up to 40 or 45 and stopping there haha
@@McMole2TheRealMcMole2 man you are getting far haha.. i stopped with all level ups at level 40...i only got my arena team on my level now, with 100k to spare for needed changes.
