My mods have been a mess but I didn’t know what to do. Before I joined the empire I was confused and upgrade mods to level 15 with no speed secondary’s. This has taught me the way. I’ve made so many credits selling my junk mods
Love the video. I've been playing for almost 2 years and this video finally gave me a plan for my mods. I only wish there was a way I could mass upgrade my mods for free....like an in game ability
Knowing your character's kit and how to use mods to compliment it's strenghts is essential. I have my Grievous almost at 100% potency and I'm mowing through high tenacity teams like it's no big deal.
One thing I will add is that if you are under gear lvl 12, if you are experimenting and have a mod that isn't assigned to a character, you will get a chance to slice the mod from 5a to 6e and it is expensive as Ahnald stated. You will likely be giddy and looking forward to putting it on your character after you do but, you will quickly discover that gear lvl 12 is required to assign 6 dot mods to a character. I did this and spent all of my resources, delaying my development a bit. I still salivate at the chance to put on that mod, but I am still only gear lvl 10. I hope this helps at least one person.
Best mod for speed I've got is a defense primary cross with 26 speed, and it's on a crit chance set sliced up to 6-D. Best overall is a crit damage primary triangle with 19 speed, potency set also 6-D. Use that for Vader usually
Hey AhnaldT, thanks for this video. It helps a lot! We also need some Quality of Life Update for Mods again. Something like a Restore all mods button where u can save ur settings and come back to this with on click only no matter how many changes you have made. Atm to reset one Characters Mods you to at least reset 2 Mod sets if, and only if u have chosen the mods from just one other char... Maybe you, with the arms of the empire can reach out to be heared by CG. Love you vids, pls dont ever stop with that :D

I feel like every time i sell a nonspeed mod, another character that doesnt need speed will want/use it. Is there a list of characters that DONT need speed? Or a list of characters that want Offense/defense instead of speed? Even for an event. I remember when you were doing the SEE event, you needed an accuracy mod?! That would suck to have to start farming for that because it feels like I have a billion bad mods.
Im a longer time player and i like the % stats alot better than flat like my GAS with these new slicing mats has a couple 15% defense mods with good speed still on character's that speed isn't be all end all i shoot for the % secondardies even offense % is great on alot these days with relics.

I am confused on a few parts of the video. When you talk about selling all mods below say 8 speed, but then you have not even levelled them up yet, how do you get any with 8 speed until you have levelled to 12 to get those extra rolls? I just assume the graphics are out of order and you should first level any color to at least 12 before making the cut, or are you referring to mods previously on your roster that you had not used these tactics on?
You probably did not finish the video or missed it. There are two parts to leveling. Leveling part 1 is revealing the stats and part 2 is leveling mods to 12 that might roll speed before you slice.
Since my RNG is bad, speed on whites is always like a 3-5 speed in secondary which sucks cause I’m mid to end game player so I refuse to settle for anything under 10 speed. My RNG is so bad that I literally delete all white mods and I just keep green mods and Gold Mods.
I remember when i rolled my first +20 speed secondary mod i was sitting in my car and i literlly cheered, someone was next to my car in their car and were prolly like "wth is up with this guy sitting there cheering at his tablet?"

I am f2p, and most of my income is going to cantina store to farm relic mats, thus, I don't have a lot of refreshes to spend on mod energy to farm slicing mats. Credits seem cheaper to me and finding a gold or purple +5 speed mod that I can roll stats with just credits seems like good value imo.
If you are relying solely on the mod store, your mod inventory is not going to grow as well as it should and the mods are overpriced. Chances are, if you have too many credits you are not leveling up enough mods. Not sure how many crystals you are getting but if you are getting top 200 in squad arena and top 50 fleet arena you should be able to afford at least one mod energy refresh or you might be overdoing cantina energy. The overall strategy with modding is the mod store is not the best place to rely on farming mods. Maybe 10% at most will be from the mod store.
@@AhnaldT101 I am not. I do a pull every morning of mod challenges and then the rest of the days energy goes to slicing mats. And I do level them to 3, 6, 9, and 12 depending on the color. The problem I have is that I have tons in my inventory that are in good speed thresholds but I don't have slicing mats to slice them
@@AhnaldT101 Sorry, one more question to follow up. If I wanted to change up my strategy. I am refreshing cantina 3x for 300 gems which leaves me with 3-4 refreshes on the fleet, mod, and energy. Lets say I used 3 refreshes on mods. Should I be farming new mods with that or slicing materials? I guess I am not sure what a good balance is for that.
so if i slice a mod a green mod for example with 5 speed and it did not roll speed and rolled something else I should sell that green mod? or give it 1 more chance and I suppose same idea and question with blue mods
Is there any rule of thumb when % stats (healt %; prot %; offence % etc...) are better than plain numbers? The only way I can figure them out is by trying on characters. Would be great to hear any advice on how to assess those.
In order for % to be good, you need very good flat stats. Flat stats need good %, and % needs very good flat stats. You can't have 1 without the other. To save you some time % is overall better than a flat stat.

I would also like to add, if you buy mods from the mod store, focus on Triangle or Cross mods, cause those are the rarest. Especially those Triangle mods with Crit Damage for example.

Wish I had of knows 5 rolls on a secondary was maximum before I rerolled by perfect mode like 5 times no wonder I didn’t get any speed rolls 😭

Ahnald would you say that auto assigning mods is as bad as following the in-game recommended gear in Raid Shadow Legends?
If you follow this guide, you don't need to auto assign. Auto asign isn't really the best move.

I’m not a new player and have been playing SW for a while now but I was wondering if a clone trooper team is good in the mid to late game
I've been playing over a year and have NEVER had a silver mod roll a +6 for secondary speed.
Don't speed mods have a maximum of 30 the first secondary speed is capped at 5?
Anyone else still confused? How do you have level 4/5 secondary speed mods with the other secondary's being level 1/2? Isn't this random?
