- LOTR: HoME is a game with plenty of resource restrictions, so mistakes can really set you back in the worst way. Discussing some traps you're likely to fall into early in the game, and how they can affect your viability.

The Quest progression order is frustrating. Very illogical. By the time you finish the first part of the quest chances are the next few steps have been accomplished already. So it feels very feast or famine.
The samwise one in particular makes no sense. Tier 2 requires a significant investment in the Hobbits to finish that first mission
We are in desperate need of a Credit Heist. The gold costs are insane, I can't even think about taking a character past 3* right now
What level are you? I am level 42 and gold isn't as much of a problem as exp is.

If CG goes by the same formula they have in the past I could see the Hobbits being required for legendary characters or something.

Two days in and I have a Rohan team in the making and an Isengard team with ghazh being farmed right now.
I think staring ghaz is a trap as higher tier group missions give more gold.
RtR are good in raid, they are decent but not as a first tram to build, also sam gardening thing will give you purple essence that you will have a hard time getting as a free to play. And you also only need to farm 2 hard node, 1 guild campaign to get the full team, thats 2 free chacracter (strider,sam)

Biggest mistake for me was even trying to play. Tutorial bug has me frozen 24 hours of trying to get help from them about it and nothing completely ridiculous!
Well, aren't you a week late?! My hobbits are all sitting at t5 lvl36 haha.. Oh well, better late than never I guess..
Played beta and early access, but didn't keep up with latest news, which was silly, as so much apparently changed, so appreciate the content, getting me back on track!

the game set a trap even before the global launch. i was only able to download the game yesterday, but it seems like all the people who got a head start, pretty much all fell for the gold trap.

Aeldred is solid for a Rohan team. If you're not using a full Rohan squad, stick with pippin

The offers arrive based on your game progress. You'll see then as you complete campaign chapters
@@McMole2TheRealMcMole2 I am already lvl 20. But I cant even buy shards. Only 600 shard chest and free chest in shop. Nothing else
It’s region locked. I have iOS and have got 4 offers right now.
The issue im having with the game is progression. Im lvl 14 and i hit a brick wall essentially. I have my characters lvl'd and geard as high as i can being lvl 14 and i cant progress through anything atm without getting rocked. Shadow lvl 1 hard, light lvl 3 normal. Barley got through the pippin node. Any tips? 😅
What's your shadow and light teams?
@McMole2 my shadow atm is ugluk and mauhur. My light team is stider, eothain, eowyn, frodo. I have them all gear 3 lvl14. That's all the characters I have unlocked. I'm 7 shards from pippin so that will definitely help when I get him
@@bradygreen29 I am at the exact same spot. Simply uninstalled this joke of a game and everything went back to normal :P
So the problem you're having is the natural assumption that to progress you have to clear new content. Nope! If you can't go forward, auto-win past campaign nodes for gear and, importantly, xp. You'll level fairly quickly and can then upgrade your characters enough to be able to proceed forward.
It's also very important to unlock guild content so you have access to the guild materials that allow you to upgrade abilities. Upgrading abilities can make the difference between clearing or not.
How much gold do you get a day? 50k?
Depends on if there's a good challenge that day. I haven't been keeping track of it yet due to quests randomly handing it out, but I'll try to keep track of it from now on

Are you talking about my video discussing how they'll be a solid endgame squad? They're built to be very good at max levels, but the investment required hurts beginner players, which is what this video is built toward. Apologies if that wasn't clear.
I think buying the pack is a great idea. We definately will need them for something later, and 4 stars is a huge rush. Just don't gear them yet
20€ for 3 characters is a great deal however you look at it their team will be needed anyone who goes into games like this thinking short term ain't gonna last long.

Good video but as a new player i had to level frodo and pippin to make it thru the campaign,there was no other way to get thru some of those stages.
Later on when i get more characters then yeah i will stop leveling frodo and pippin but for no i kinda have no choice.
Shadow campaign i haven't been able to do much since i only got 2 of those characters...level 23 at the moment and i gotta say i am a bit bored,not much content and i just keep on farming Ironhide and i am still a long way from getting him.

Sorry, after investing years of time in Star Wars Galaxy of Heroes - the worst mistake for me is playing this game...

Biggest mistake is actually playing. This game is horrible both in the graphics and gameplay department. Char level being tied to player level ? Rofl. Can't clear a single node of Campaign 3. Uninstalled it instantly.
