Dice needs to change the clone troopers armor to the camouflage armor like in the movie it would look way better with the camouflage clones

feels off with the amount of players, wish it could be 32v32 with more vehicles, such as driveable at-te, at-ap walkers (I think it is at-ap) that would be an ultimate star wars battle experience. Just imagine you are in the laat with 5 more in the transport seat of to the beach whilst under fire and beneath you are at-te walkers firing at incoming droid ships, vehicles etc
If that happened people will say it's just a copy of battlefield with a Star Wars theme

I feel like the early stages doesn't looks like war. Not enough laser flying around... Feels like 20 Vs 20 is not the right amount of players
Nathan Ho yeah cus most of the players need to be on the ground playing the objective. Def needs more players in matches and not in the sky.
I got the same feeling when I was watching this. It doesn't feel like a war on kashyyyk, more like a larger naboo theed Gameplay map kind of vibe. All it is, is a large script map match of Theed of Naboo, only with Kahsyyk skin and some additionals. I hope you see where I am going with this.

The cross era heroes is so lame. What about General Grevious, Ki-Adi-Mundi, Plo Koon, Aayla Secura, Kit Fisto just to name a few...
Joom they are working on grievous it is just taking them long to finish. Obi Wan is already finished and they will be released together in the second DLC

I don't understand why they had to put in Kylo and other new characters to Clone Wars era map, like there wasn't enough characters from that time...

They could have easily put in Mace Windu, Obi Wan, Anakin or Plo Koon. I don’t get why the developers are so lazy. I mean like Han Solo and Rey during the clone wars, come on get real!

silentact1 it's because they haven't made enough heroes yet. EA said that once they have enough heroes they will lock them to eras.
Not letting someone sit in the gun for the back of the Arc-170 is a missed opportunity TBH. Was really hoping they'd allow two people to be in that ship, oh well. Still excited tho!

Arcanum Lux no lol imagine if every time you tried to kill an ARC as a droid you’d get hit by the gunner and die, while the people on the clones side never have to worry about stuff like that.
Daddy Foosa but the droids have the tri-fighter which is like the most OP thing, and on top of that not every arc-170 would have a gunner, strictly depends on someone getting in one.
It actually be pretty shit believe it or not. In the original bf2, it just be a clusterfuck of spinning and going in weird ass directions. Maybe if you did it with a friend it would be OK...

Tobias Schäffler no unfortunately, I asked StoneMountain on his live stream and he said there'll only be card customization and hero customization.

That's not not true. Cross Era heroes are happening because DICE wanted players to be able to use the heroes the enjoy the most. However DICE also has made it where if you pick a heroes from a different era than the map you are playing, you will have to spend nearly double the battle points to play as them where as heroes true to the era's map with be less.
circusmime they want it to be a multiplayer experience. Meaning with that philosophy it doesn't matter why if they mess up the lore or timeline. I dont like it per se
They're only doing that until each era has the appropriate amount of hero's then they won't do cross era hero's anymore.

I'm not a massive star wars fan but I love the clone wars era. It makes such a good game. They need to make a clone wars only game and make it perfect.

The background, AI droids and snailtanks with the starfighters battling make the game seem so alive I love it

Thats completely different...... the 41st were not the only clones that were dispatched to Kashykk thats why its a lootbox skin, to show battalion diversity...
KINGSLICER980 That may be, but in Revenge of The Sith, there was no white on that battlefield. It makes less sense to have white clone troopers on kashyyyk than it does to have the 41st which were primarily represented in the film.

Don’t get me wrong man the map itself looks great! But damn bro the battle just looks sooo dead and empty like where the hell is everyone?
the game needs 64 player matches cuz if its 40 players and lets say 3 ppl on each team is sitting in a ship 2 ppl is sitting in a veicle and 2 ppl are heroes on each team there will only be 13 ppl running around as Soldiers but if it was 64 there would still be 25 players running around as Soldiers! thats alot more its 12 extra ppl on both teams! this is the biggest problem i have with this game! OR! try 70 players, 35 on each team! also! we need 41st scout division on Kashyyyk!!!

I had a similar idea except not just 1 Jedi but say a team of Jedi that start off the game fighting with the Clones then about halfway through the match, Palpatine gives Order 66 and then it turns into Clones vs Separatists vs Jedi.

where are the players? there is only like 30 players on the map? there was atleast 200 in the movie

EA is possibly the 2nd richest gaming company and they definitely can do better than 20v20 or even 32v32...
More players though would probably impact performance, especially on consoles since their CPU isn't the greatest.

Give me 32 vs 32, with 4 man squads, 4 classes of basic battledroids, moar guns, and add 30 more freeroam AI to each side for aesthetics that are also difficult to kill. Oh...and don't get me started on free vehicle usage
Prophet Of Merci i 100% agree. When dice announced the colaboration for a battlefront game. I assumed a battlefield/bad company game. We need more choices. Free vehicle combat being one of them. Maybe have killstteaks for the heroes/villains.

I have never ever witnessed both MTTs get blown up, but I seen both AT-ATs, AT-M6s, and 1 MTT get taken out
There should be a reverse galactic assault in kasyyyk in wich you would defend two juggernouts (from inside and outside) as they ride from the Venator into the beach and into CIS HQ. It would be easy to implement and very fullfilling.
Kashyyk is definitely my favorite map that I've seen so far. The treelines are gorgeous, the D-Day style starting point of the Droids is great, and that large treehouse section of the map though.. Looks like a ton of fun to play on that map.
I think they should do this, say if the droids lose the first time the map will change to night because it will seem like the clones bolstered their defenses after the first round

One thing they can do to improve the over all feel of the map is add AI around, would make it feel like an actual invasion. Like titan fall.
5:50 so at least their fixed Inflitrator perk. It is clearly a defensive perk now, if you get jumped you active it to defend yourself, but it doesn't last long and runs out quickly when you fire. Good, it was OP as fuck.

IMO LAAT Gunship should have 3 salvos of two rockets that can lock onto vehicles an also be dumb fired. Not a big enough threat in games. Maybe add two ball turret gunners as well. Add the Juggernaut HaW A6 and a droid AA tank and make that vehicle the Anti Air tank to balance out the LAAT. Give the Juggernaut 5 salvo's of 4 horrible accurate missiles. Such as clicking M+1 5 times allows you to fire 20 missiles. Sheer odds alone should enable a hit
the blasters sound just like the x wing on that ship, don't remember them sounded like that in RotS

At 3.12 those archways seem a bit low for Wookies, otherwise the map is stunning, really cool interior of the Venator
The map looks awesome!!! I thought the map would be smaller- But no it has to be BIGGER 😁 AND it has the inside of the vennator class star destroyer! So much detail and I like the ducking bay in the top middle, with the red line ontop. (That docking bay)

Honestly would've loved this game so much more if it was first person only. I feel like 3rd person allows for engagements that aren't too realistic with the ability to look beyond your cover without exposure.
you can change the you view from Third person to First person
thompederful but with everyone else using 3rd person you’ll be at a disadvantage
but dying and respawning is realistic and star wars is definitely based off realism.

Battlefront has always been a tps and fps. Never just one. I cpuld see them adding fps only servers, but i think third person works well for star wars

It wasn't hard for them to keep the heroes for the clone troopers in line with the films but still they go and put rey on episode 3 maps fighting battledroids....kinda ruins it for me and where is the camo on the clones?
Kashyyyk map looks cool, but I have only 2 problems. Number one there is not Elite Corps Troopers. My second problem is cross era hero's.

Everybody if you want many points don’t hold the laser in laser plane just smack it as fast as you can that way you will destroy all tanks

Star Wars Battlefront 2 is life
The only thing turning me off this is the lack of troops on this massive map. Four MTTs and a Venator of soldiers going at each other and there's only 20 soldiers on each side. They could at least add bots to fill out the map a bit.

What I don't like about this game is that you can choose heros/villains which were not there yet at this era. Like here Rey/Kylo fighting against the Clones doesn't make any sense .. Would be good to be able to choose only the corresponding heros/villains .. :/
THe clones on Kashyyyk are technically legit. the 41st Elite Corps fought on Kashyyk. The 41st Elite Corps wore grey armor, just look up 41st Elite Corps and they wear armor with grey markings.
