+Carne Frita TV hey, yeah, i figured that a lot of people would enjoy something like this if it's short enough :) it was a great trip but a bit too short
+Scott Mannear wow, in 95 things must have been different... I imagine that there weren't too many new cars back than. it was a great trip, just a bit too short
It was the first year Castro allowed limited business, people could sell snacks, crafts, crops grown in their yard (not on State controlled farms). Cars were Ladas (crap) and cars from pre 1957. A car was the only wealth a family could own. (All homes owned by Government). A Canadian company opened three convenient store sized locations similar to a Dollar General. The Government run stores had almost no merchandise and everything was very old. I worked with a Church that had 3500 members and the highest income person was a neurosurgeon that made $20 per month. People waited in line every day to get rations of bread and if they had a child under age 7, a glass of milk. The economy was hurting as USSR could no longer prop them up with subsidy payments. Veradaro Beach was lovely, El Moro was great. Got to sit in Hemingway's chair at LA Bodega bar. I'm a sailor so got to see Marina Hemingway. Interesting that as a US citizen the only place I couldn't go was Guantanamo. People great, beautiful country.
That is so strange that you couldn't go to Guantanamo...that is technically a part of the US if i understood correctly. Now ive noticed a whole bunch of direct flights to the US now and lots of people with US passports sitting in the line to go thru customs, something that i haven't seen before
I went with State Department clearance, Houston to Cancun, walked over to TACA and paid cash for round trip to Havana. Cuba did not stamp your passport but provided a separate slip visa. On returning I was told by others to declare that I had been to Cancun as my passport indicated to avoid 3-5 hour interview. We did not try to enter Guantanamo as we were interested in Cuba and doing Church mission work. Stayed in people's homes as guests. No hotel. Toured island giving speeches to various church groups.
Nice video Alex, is there anything on the market that comes close to the video quality of that Note 7? What i mean in terms of cheap 4k, not a phone. Thanks
+Jerrel Reyes the S7 Edge is very very close (it's the exact same camera), the Google Pixel and the iphone 7 Plus. Personally, i still prefer the Note 7 over all the other ones. I'm looking forward to the S8 and Note 8
+Jerrel Reyes ooooo, wait i didn't read your question :) there are a lot of cameras that can film better than the note 7 but those are difficult to stabilize... They are big and heavy and need a big stabilizer...
Excelente alex, que disfrutes de tu viaje. Deberias pasar por cartagena de indias colombia, tambien te encatara. Me gustan muchos tus videos y gracias a ellos, compre mi android tv.

Redskull This cannot be true! Many phones now with 16 to 21MP cameras? Either way I'm not trying to be a smart ass, I was just expecting it to be something other than Samsung or Apple 😊
+Mau Ces HP i have to be honest, i am a bit afraid to go to Mexico City :) having the camera out all the time... Ive heard some bad things... But again...the media always exaggerates
Redskull yeah you’re right but there's some safe places like "El Zócalo, Palacio Bellas Artes, avenida Reforma, Centro de Coyoacán (Coyoacán downtown)" But if you like some beauty beach, Cancún is safe option anyway when you choose visit México you will love it

SO I bet we're all dying to know, what was it all filmed on?
+Kenji Urban haha :) a note 7 and a 3 axis stabilizer gimbal
Redskull Not a Samsung Note 7?? All these Chinese smart phones you go through and you still use the Samsung! 😪 Makes me sad 😉
it films the best, there isn't anything else that films as good
Redskull This cannot be true! Many phones now with 16 to 21MP cameras? Either way I'm not trying to be a smart ass, I was just expecting it to be something other than Samsung or Apple 😊
Interesting video. I like the uncrowded streets, I guess some good comes from people being too poor to afford even a motorcycle?
as soon as you leave the town there is no more traffic. Yeah, most people are too poor to afford any means of transportation
Which camera did you use to make this video?
+Veljko Petrović i used a note 7 to film everything in the video
Thx Alex, excellent video!
Nice alex
+Gagandeep Singh I'm glad you enjoyed it
Cool! You should visit Brazil.
Haroldo gamer Only if you don't go to Brazil with no Communist symbol, because we hate

+Mau Ces HP I've been to Cancun and Playa del Carmen and it was very nice and no problems at all
As a Canadian I love visiting Cuba since Americans are not allowed.
