Saint Louis did to us what we should’ve been doing all season long!!!! Disheartening to see that we couldn’t establish the run with the kind of talent we have. Damn shame our front seven couldn’t even stop the run!!! Hats off to saint Louis. Y’all wanted it more.
The game plan was old school. Run down the throat and wear the D down. You could tell the toll it was taking on the D as the injuries were pilling up. I for sure thought the RB was gonna get worn out or injured but that 5'5 running back was like mighty mouse. Kahuku couldn't stop him
I fully agree with you, once Fuiava came it seemed like they went away from their identity. Both O-Line and D-Line got beat the whole game, that was the difference.
@ fuiava made this team 100% better. Such an upgrade at QB. Watching kahiku before fuiava you could see how much they lacked at QB. When they opened up the playbook in the fourth you saw him flourish. Loss was all on the coach
Congratulations to St Louis Crusaders the brotherhood! Shout out to HD coach Tupu and the rest of the coaching staff who made the adjustment, kept the same local players from beginning to end and did not have to recruit out of state to win the Hawaii State Championship. Shame on the 2 public school, Mililani and Kahuku for recruiting out of state players for the playoffs. These two public school placed their greed for a championship not caring for the integrity of Hawaiis beloved sport, Football! Thank you Crusader for your hard work and winning the championship!
St. Louis' run game was mean. Nice, gritty win. This year's open division was insanely good. Excited for next year to see what the Crusaders, the Red Raiders, and the rest of the Open Division can do!
@ThatPakiguy Matai is amazing! Inspite of the last set of downs, he converted 2 crazy 4th downs on that last drive! Asking for 3 was just unreal tbh. I hope he takes it all in and uses it as fuel for next season! No let da negative Nancy’s get to you, there will always be haters! They hate us cuz they ain’t us! #RR4L
Doesn’t have to be the old school ground and pound, but you have to mix the playbook up and run more. The o line wasn’t as good as the crusaders o line in their get off so they need to stop being in pass pro 100% of the time.

@@aaronkamakaze2967 Currently, there's loads of talent besides OL and DL, considering Hawaii's relatively small population. Case in point: Campbell's QB Jaron-Keawe Sagapolutele is a 4-star recruit. One man out doesn't make a team, so it doesn't matter if by only by seven points, it's still a Kahuku lost, just like preseason game, Kahuku 14 Saint Louis 13, Saint Louis Lost, but the main game was for the state Championship, doesn't matter by how many points you win by, the end result will be asked , who won the 2024 State Championship, the answer will be Saint Louis, no one will ask who finished 2nd, cheeeuuuu, try again next year

Good hard fought game. We see you guys next year.

Another classic 😮💨🔴🔵✊🏾
It was a hard fought game on both side, & it could have gone either way, but Saints got the edge at the end. Hats off!
Good game. Congrats to both teams for an all out fight. 🤙
This was a masterclass in coaching by St. Louis. Utilized their strengths with Titan and wore the physical D of Kahuku down slowly.
2 was wide open the last play😢
Great game...
QB could have run on those pass plays to make a difference.
He came from.the mainland.they don't risk injury for the game up there
Is St. Louis going to throw a single ball?
How bout leave football to ppl who know ball klown
Can someone tell me why 22 couldn't suit up to play?
HHSAA ejected him from last game

Compared to the mainland, it's pretty hard to watch. But Hawaii doesn't have much talent to choose from, besides OL and DL talent.
