People that have not played Emio and Another Code are really missing out. Did not think I'd like either very much. Now they are 2 of my favorite games.
I never played a visual novel because I assumed they are just reading text and not actually playing a game. Maybe I'm wrong. I want to check out the genre but I don't want to waste the money.
@TwoGendersOnly i would recommend 13 sentinels which mixes in strategy tower defense rpg gameplay with the visual novel and is a pretty good sci-fi story. Fully voice acted
The first part of Another Code with the mansion was fantastic. However, the second part of Another Code with the campsite was such a drag and its the reason why I don't rate Another Code as highly. If you get Another Code Recollection for Switch, only the first part is worth playing.
The reprint of Signalis doesn’t include the Polaroid Picture inside the case. There will be a difference in price between them for sure. Just a heads up!
Legend of Nayuta: Boundless Trails is a spin-off. It doesn't majorly connect to the other Legend of Heroes games. Unless falcom decides to retcon the game into the series, you can play it without any knowledge of the other LOH games. If anyone doesn't want to wait till the remake comes and just wants to get into the series without getting spoiled or missing out. Tho the combat is action compared to turn based. The story tropes are pretty much the same.
Me too and recently I got the one mentioned in the video. I just started the whole collection on Switch and the other Ace games will definitely belong there too.
As a new trails fan, starting with Trails Through Daybreak had me confused AF in parts so now I'm playing Trails From Zero and buying up the other games on Switch asap
Yeah I had the same feeling for most of these as well especially the Trails games. Been picking those up every time there's a new one now. Btw just wanna say your channel name is 👌
Each time I hear about how Signalis skyrocketed in price I just think "Huh. Weird." since I bought it new, sealed, on discount from GameStop a year ago. I also am still annoyed that Spy X Anya didn't get released in North America physically. I thought it looked charming.
I got it on Amazon in April of this year for 20 bucks and never opened it. It's pretty insane. I had a feeling this game would get expensive but not this fast lol.
The vgp reprint of Signalis doesn't have the cool lenticular poloroid photograph included that's with first print, just a heads up for any collectors out there.
😭Thank you, you just made me feel better about recently purchasing one of the very few copies on Ebay that actually has the photo for $200 US dollars. Do you have any idea how many times I ignored it when I saw it sitting in GameStop with the photo for only $40 brand new??? NEVER again, from now I'm going after EVERY game as soon as they drop, and that goes double for the Switch 2 games after that drops.😤
@@KayMayhem777 trust me a feel your pain! Since you’re an anime fan one game I’ve been keeping an eye on is the release of Goblin Slayer: Nightmare Feast a T-RPG which is supposed to finally get a US release in December
Totally agree on the visual novel games becoming rare in the future, and that's why I always buy them as soon as possible after initial release. Great list of games in this one!
Sweet video! Never seen this channel before, but I'm for it. I have Cold Steel 1 & 2 physically on my PSVita so I at least have them for handheld devices. I should have grabbed all the Ace Attorneys when VGP had them all :/

Emio I bought, but thank God they released a demo because it was a visual novel that was pretty boring. So I returned it, maybe I'll regret that later on, haha.
Are you stupid or something, dude? This is currently happening a lot with various games across all platforms, specially on Switch, due to being physical cartridges and low print releases.
