2023 - Knowing Karise Eden's history, and how she struggled during the competition and the fact that she's not a global superstar (yet), I've got to say that I recognize the possible impostor syndrome she might be (or did suffer) suffering from. I'm glad her talent is recognized at least in her home country, though, and that the rest of us can witness and share her joy in her talent.
Karise Eden has a powerful and sweet voice, without losing the majesty of black music. Her version for Back to Back is spectacular and is even better than Amy Winehouse, when she was still at her best. Anderson, Brazil, 2022.
