Hi Sara! Thank you for your excellent review. It is my opinion that red lids are unflattering on everyone - even the promo pics from Guerlain don’t show the model wearing red lids. Yet, I did something I have never done before: I purchased a makeup item JUST for its outer packaging. To create looks I can wear in public, I apply the burgundy shade very sheerly in my crease and outer corner and I top it with a matte green shade (such as the one in the Chanel Divination quad); on my mobile lid, I apply either the baby pink shade or the rust shade, and I top it with a light shimmery shadow such as Chanel’s solo in Blanc perle. The red can be tapped over a nude lip for a touch of colour. The rest of the collection is great - the velvet lipstick in 207 is a lovely browny nude and the meteorites are great for my fair-cool skin tone (I love the sandalwood scent). I agree with you that the most covetable item in this collection is the lipstick case - it’s likely to sell out very quickly. Thanks again. I look forward to your next review.
I am so torn. Do I need a red eyeshadow? I already have the guerlain regular line exotic orchid which has a more balanced 'red' burgundy color story. But THE Packaging!!! It looks so so so beautiful :)
I know the packaging is so tempting and I must admit it was the reason for my purchase but to be honest if you have similar colors then I’d recommend you save your money. If you really love the packaging then I’d recommend purchasing the lipstick case since you can at least choose the lipstick shade you want

I love the look on you. Some people hate reds, pinks, etc.. on the eyes. But on your brown eyes, these shades look very nice. A very autumnal look. I love it. Don't listen to the ones who tell you these colors don't suit you. They're wrong, And use the palette again this autumn/winter. I got the whole collection and like it a lot. xoxo from Paris

And I'm a disappointed that with the Rouge G lipsticks as they've changed the entire packaging so that previous lipsticks will NOT fit into the new cases. In my opinion this year, Dior has hit it out of the park! Classy, elegant, and very wearable. But that's the beauty of having a choice is that we all have different opinions and love what we love! 😊❤
Ow yes I definitely agree Dior has by far created the best overall collection. I’m usually not a fan of Guerlain makeup but I just couldn’t resist the lipstick case in this collection
The difference between classic 02 Meteorites and the Holiday one is that Guerlain removed green pearls from the original 02 and put more golden and pearly shades. I'm a collector for Meteorites and I bought Holiday edition. I'm still salty and boycotting new Rouge G cases. I decided not to invest my money in new cases because I have so many old ones. New lipsticks don't fit perfectly to the old cases but it's still possible to use them together. If the shade is unique I pick up new lipstick as I did from Pucci collection. In my opinion a few last Guerlain eyeshadow colour stories are misses for me. I'm disappointed that they stop producing baked eyeshadows. Those were stunning and had high quality. The packaging is incredible, beautiful and luxurious but et the end of the day it's makeup. I buy it to use, not to sit on my vanity to look at. I'm complaining because I'm a loyal client who have supported Guerlain since 2010. Finally, as someone else wrote, it's beautiful that we have a choice and buy pieces from other brands and collections ❤
The amount of makeup being produced at the moment is astounding. It truly has become a very competitive market. I don’t purchase Guerlain makeup often but I fell in love with the lipstick case and had to review it. This is my first lipstick from them and really love it. If I purchased prior cases I’d also be upset that they changed the size, seems like a cash grab for me. Thank you for your support 🥰
Sara, I've got quite a number of eye palettes and lipsticks from Guerlain, but as soon as I saw the shades in that palette, I wasn't interested. I've got nothing against red shadow, it's those particular reds that are far too bright - especially as matte or satin. I'm still not happy with them after buying so many cases and lipstick refills to only have them change the size of the cases/lipsticks that will not fit the originals. All of those who have bought so many cases are now stuck with them with nothing to fit in them. I'm not about to buy a bunch of refills either when I don't need any. It's quite unlike you to purchase Guerlain. I can't remember you using the brand before. Looks like someone was a bit rough on the pearls from your powder. They're not supposed to be all broken up like that. You deserve another one that hasn't been smashed about. I do agree, it's a shame that the Guerlain Quads aren't refillable. The scent can be strong for some people that are allergic. Even though these powders can leave a subtle glow, this specific powder gives a matte effect to your base makeup and therefore is great as a setting powder

A very positive video. I do like the lipstick, but as for the eyeshadows..I feel Guerlain could have created a better colour palette.

Every collection since 2015 has been a disappointment, I think Guerlain has lost the magic with their Christmas collections.

Its not any "perfume" but a violet scent. And it doesn't last once applied. The point of the product is a subtle glow. Not so much setting
