@@jerseyforhawks I'd say the stats speak for themselves selves, this is pretty black and white. You just need to come to the true understanding. Right now you're stuck in who knows what level of consiousness.
Did not think he would have done it considering his pwrformance last few days but he ain't a climber and was it over one hour yesterday only means he got to do thiss. Great TdF so far with Bini, Mark, Tadej and others. Leta hope GC stays tight
Mark Cavendish the greatest stage winner in the Tour de France with 35, surpassing Eddy Merckx's 34 (525 stage wins, 11 GV, 19 Monuments, 3 World Championships, etc. by the Cannibal)
I just have a question for anyone who was watching Flobikes' stream, with the British announcer and Nicolas Roche. After the win, the Brit asked Roche why Cavendish had moved to the side during his sprint, whether it was to avoid a crash (which was what I assumed), and Roche was quiet for a minute and said something like, "I don't want to comment." Then the other man said something about it being up to the commissaires. I had no idea what they were talking about--anyone else know what they were talking about?
Well done, have been waiting for this, you are a legend, have enjoyed watching your sprints, you are the greatest. Regards , all the way from Kenya, Africa
In 2012, with the tour on tv, (stage 18) Cavendish 10 K from finish, he kids playing in the back yard, I called them inside and suggested they watch a master at work. Cav won from so far back that Roche was in disbelief. My 8yo thought the "others had stopped". He got close because Wiggins and Boassen Hagen got him up there then he used everyone and anyone to finish the job. On his day, literally unbeateable.
Never was a fan of Cavendish. Those sprinters have been known to push each other, by the railings. He's not the greatest 'sprinter' for me. Peter Sagan won 100 Green jerseys, was consistently winning and Had umpteen wins all across the European tours!
Seriously all of you f-off. I bet none of you have ever ridden a bike in a bunch sprint, there is bumping. Cry all you want but it's #35 for cav....where is sagan, greipel, kittel, cipo, hush, petacci....WHERE?!?!?!
Mark, Mark, Mark!!!! Yeah, Yeah, Yeah Mark, I'm an aging 76 year old triathlete. When I grow young I want to be you, more than I wanted to be Ringo when I grew up, when I was a 15 year old drummer.
So technically he's number one.. #1 on Earth at Tour de France... So he's the best cyclist to ever walk the earth over a period of a lifetime and of our whole history. Dear Universe, please bring us your worthy challengers!
It was a gimme. Sir whine a lot should not be mentioned in the same sentence with a real racer loke Mercks. Thank goodness we have some real racers like Pogacar who will wipe clean the record books in short order.
I wanna know where all the people that was doubting him and telling him to retire are at now🤔
@David-kc4we cavendishs finishes this year are a disgrace , did he really win a stage. No way.

Congratulations to Cavendish. Great achievement.
Are we not going to talk about the skill of the rider jumping over a crash 0:32. Amazing skills
all of then can, some of them do ...Rudyard Kipling
Legit win. Sir Manx Missile, wasn't gonna be denied this one.

Cav pure Legend.... and boy did he have to fight for #35... Chapeau Cav...! GOAT Sprinter....! and Sickest Bunny Hop....!
Why does every video switch away from the drone view right when he makes his move? It's so irritating.
@@christianduty3576 looks like the guys behind him who followed the big lunge to the left didn't manage it quite as well as he did

Between Bini winning yesterday and Cav today, I couldn't be happier!!

Cool to listen to some different commentaries. I was watching NBC the first time.
THE CAV DOES IT!!!!! LEGEND!!!!!
History made indeed!
absolutely the best!

Did cav bump a rider or push them off when they bumped him?

@@tokenspirit6140 yea I'm also a fan of Sagan, but this was about the stage win, not so much the sprint. I'm super happy for Cav.

I can't help agree with the first two comments, and I hate to be sour grapes, but it looked like a gift to me.
no way it was a gift, they were all going full out, and if it was, it'd take coordination from about 10 different sprinters. Not really possible.
@@FloBikes Wow. You're heavily invested in the fairytale!!

what a legend. fought for it.
GOAT brought everyone to the oven and cooked it!!!
He didn't brought, he bought!!
So sweet
He should have been Relegated. Wild, dangerous sprint.
i see a couple more in his future
If Kittel hadn't retired so early none of this would have happened. Marcel was a MUCH faster sprinter than Cav.
That thumbnail gave me the chills
Jasper Philipsen being Jasper Philipsen.🙄 Great thing Cavendish made it through!!!🔥🔥🔥
Not sure what you mean Cavendish pushed one guy very hard if that was Philipsen he would have been disqualified
Has Cav just set Tadej his greatest target for the future?
The Manx missile put out so much power that his chain fell off right on yhe line as he stopped pedalling
Nothing to do with it!!
They handed this one to him

pathetic comment!
lol, we will call you sir cry a lot
So he was clearly given it then 🙄
He should have been relegated due to wildly dangerous sprint
no need. he retired TDF already
