Actually they’re talking a lot more talks in their songs, you’ll be surprised :)) fun fact: their album is called “Regular-Irregular” and they have two versions of REGULAR: the English version where they flex, and the Korean version where they talking about the need to work hard to achieve success. just fyi anytime you need to know what their particular song is talking about, there are “audio + lyrics” color coded videos uploaded here by many youtube angels, so you will never be left wondering. And don’t worry about not being able to rank their songs - speaking from personal experience, it will get even harder as you react to more of their songs!

Directors, producers and choreograohers vary. They have collaborated with Harvey Mason Jr of Harvey studios, Marteen, The Stereotypes etc. Their other fire Mv Simon Says was choreographed by Scott Forsyth, Cherry Bomb by Tony Testa. Tony Testa also trained them too.

To answer the question you asked in the beginning about directing their videos... NCT is contracted under an entertainment management company called SM Entertainment, which in Korea is sort of a combination of what you know as a 'management agency' and a 'record label' here in the States. They do everything in-house, from vocal training to dance lessons, artist management to video shoots, record production, etc etc... that's just the way they like to do it over there...and that offers some benefits in terms of legal issues, copyright stuff, public relations, brand awareness...you've probably read comments that say they're an "SM stan." That means they're fans of all the artists signed to SM Ent. With a company like that doing it all on their own; same producers, same directors, same engineers, working on multiple projects, what you end up with is a distinct 'flavor coming from that company...and some fans just REALLY love SM's flavor...lol
@@HigherFaculty I'm in my thirties, & I enjoy kpop like a lot of people, but the most Interesting part for me is the economics of it. The decisions they make in management and in Marketing these groups to the public is just so fascinating to me, not to mention the subtle differences between koreas music and Entertainment industry and the United States music industry. Glad I could help!
Now that you have heard the English version of NCT-127's "Regular," you should also check out the Korean version (The MV is slightly different from the English version because the lyrics are different) and WayV's "Regular" Mandarin version. And once you have done that, you should then look up the lyrics to all 3. If you look up the English translation of the lyrics for the Korean and Mandarin versions and compare them to the English version you will see that even though it's the same beat and the same title, the lyrics are different for all 3 songs. For "Regular" Jongwoo has officially debuted as a member of NCT-127 so now there are 10 members in NCT-127. Fun fact: WinWin is the only member who is in all 3 versions of "Regular" because he is a member of both NCT-127 and WayV. If you look up the lyrics for the Korean version you will discover that the lyrics for the English version of "Regular" is almost opposite of what they are talking about in the Korean version. That's why the album is called Regular Irregular. The English version is what I would describe as the cocky version of the song and it hits on the aesthetic of what appeals more to an American audience. The English version talks about being famous and having lots of money and still not being satisfied until they possess all the riches and fame. "Regular" is supposed to be NCT-127's U.S. debut so that is why they made an English version. However, the Korean version is what I would call the humble version of the song. The Korean lyrics talk about how they are constantly working hard and are never satisfied with the end result and how they hope to have the success that they always dream of, etc. -- which is what appeals more to a Korean audience. The Chinese version of the song also has different lyrics. The MV for WayV's version of "Regular" is about dominating in the technology realm and that is why in WayV's MV you see them as stock traders in the stock market and at one point they are literally inside a computer, etc. It's all about dominating in the business world. "Regular" was technically WayV's debut song as well. You should really take the time to see what makes the 3 versions so different, besides the fact that they are in 3 different languages. :D It's really interesting to see how 3 songs can be created in 3 different languages using the same beat and feel, and yet have completely different messages. It just goes to show how diverse the music industry is and yet still so similar. :D Another reason why WayV's MV is so different from the Korean and English version is because they are the Chinese sub-unit and at that time they couldn't have anything that might connect them to NCT or make it look like they might be working with their Korean company if they want to promote in China. Because of the political issues between Korea and China, they had to appear as if they were a Chinese group and are separate from anything to do with SM in order for the Chinese government to allow them to appear on Chinese programs, etc. and to promote themselves and their album in the country.
Thank you for your reactions :) I hope you will enjoy other groups as much as NCT. Also i want to tell you that if you type the name of the band in youtube along with the title of the song for which you want to know the words, and next to it the phrase 'color codeed', you will find this song with the English translation of the lyrics and the indication of who sings specific moments of the song. Lyrics in orginal language will be there too. It's important to know that the lyrics for english versions of some kpop songs can differ or even be totally different from the actual original lyrics. So sometimes it's better to just check out lyrics translations to have a comparison. For example, if you compare the translation of the original lyrics of NCT Make a Wish with the lyrisc in english version of this song you will see that it makes it a completely different song.
Taeyong the leader of NCT is really fluent talking in English while two members of NCT 127 which is Johnny from Chicago and Mark from Canada. Yup their main language is English😊. Beside, NCT had to promote their album in America under Capitol. We all know how big Capitol isnt in America?? Capitol choose SM Entertaiment (the company that create NCT) because SM is the first one that create Kpop wave in Korean. Well, NCT is a international group so Capitol want NCT as a representative of Korean Music. Beside, most of composer and songwriter under SM are from overseas like America and UK so the lyrics kinda swag👏👏
@@LittleDebbie-nd2gc we can say many of NCT members can talk in English and im sure Taeyong already more improve in English since he can talk with the fans in Vlive. Tbh, im so touched when he learn English so hard for International nctzen😭👍🏻

I totally forgot about this one... but you gotta check out *Jopping by SuperM* !!! It is in English and Mark's 2nd rap verse was the most iconic rap in 2019!!!! SuperM is known as the Avengers of Kpop! SM collaborated with Capitol Records to create a super group with the main performers from NCT, EXO, and SHINee!! From NCT, Taeyong, Mark, Lucas (rappers), and Ten (vocalist) are in this group(and all of them are the main dancers too). They are geared more towards the Western audience and so their title tracts are in English and they promoted mostly in America. The film for this MV is also super crazy! You guys are going to jump out of your seats when you hear Mark's bars!!!!
Your reactions are priceless! 👏🏼 NCT are a group that consists of 23 members from their late-teens to mid-twenties and participating in a total of 4 different sub-units. NCT U, NCT 127, NCT Dream & WayV Bare in mind WayV isn't NCT because it promotes under Label V in China, but the plan was always for it to be a unit of NCT, and that's how most fans see it. Regular shows their vision and ambition as the group to be higher, so Regular also has Chinese Version as a debut song of WayV (Chinese Subunit debuted later in 2019) too. I just want to point out that the reason why NCT songs slap that much is because the team working behind for them are often black producer who know their references !! In collaboration with the members they write the lyrics too ! That’s why I love SM’s group music, especially NCT. the quality is top tier !
They have an even more 'doom da da" remix version of this, and it's live! Brilliant reaction! "Regular" is soooo fun when they perform it in concert, even before the show. I was in NJ and Chicago and they played it before the show started as well, and NCTzens were shouted the lyrics, it was just making it even more hype!
5:01 yeah that’s shake by ying Yang twins, the version with pit bull was a remix If I recall ! I also thought of it hearing the chorus I’m glad i’m not the only 90s baby that got the reference
Mark (the one by the tiger) is from Canada so he knows english and Johnny (aka bad man, the one doing archery in the video) is from Chicago. Jaehyun (the dude that said queso) also lived in America for four years so he knows english too. Nct is multilingual. Their members know english Korean japanese mandarin thai and a bunch other languages
They have different teams and directors that work with their company sm. They switch it up pretty often but it's all typically within the same ig bubble that their company is known to work with. But ofc there have probably been a few outliers here and there.
Ok after watched all your NCT's reactions now I'm subscribing because I'm a NCTzen (NCT's fandom name). But to be honest bro, opening Kpop gate by listening and watching NCT is a bold move because now your standard is so high. They set the bar high. Thanks for all the reactions. More NCT would be awesome (that's includes WayV because basically WayV is NCT's China based unit). Sorry for my broken English. It's not my first language 😇 Have a nice day.
@@HigherFaculty no problem. Glad to found ur channel. if you ever want to watch other Kpop group, especially a girl group, I recommend you to check out *Aespa.* They are like NCT's younger sister from the same company. oh my god you guys are like instantly my favourite reactors you actually notice so many details most people dont and youre so fun to watch im so glad i found u
The original song was called Din Daa Daa and it was a club anthem back in the day as well as being featured in the Breakin' movies. It was later sampled by the Ying Yang Twins in their song "Shake".
yeess!! thank you for reacting to nct!! :D is always so nice to see~!! people in the comments telling u to react to misfit, i agree!! the one with the music video tho is a short version of the song, the actual full song is on yt aswell, just audio tho, but definietly worth a listen !!
Lol it's a real tiger. I saw it in the behind the scenes video. While you're binging on NCT, 4 of them are in SuperM, which also has Taemin, my favorite solo artist, the king of Kpop, the Michael Jackson of Korea. You have to watch some Taemin. He loved MJ and pays homage to him in every video--dress, dance, vibe. So once you branch out to other groups, try SuperM and Taemin. You won't be disappointed. I recommend Tiger Inside for SuperM and Criminal for Taemin.
Actually fun fact, nearly ⅔ of the group speaks english, we have english learners like Taeyong, Jungwoo, Chenle, Haechan and literally so many more- Then we have members who grew up in english speaking countries like Johnny (grew up in Chicago) and Mark (grew up in Canada) Then members who are fluent like Ten
you forgot Jaehyun who lived in America for 4 years, Xiaojun and Hendery can pretty much carry a conversation in english and Yangyang is also fluent in english
If i’m not mistaken all 10 members are present and they have many english version songs along with Japanese & Chinese! @2:49 It may look CGI but from what I learned it was said that it’s Mark’s actual tiger that he raised & trained from a cub. @2:59 LOL thats MARK; the hottie bad man your talking about is Johnny and he is present in the video (He’s present majority of all NCT 127 videos) @3:34 This is Johnny
There is also the Chinese version of Regular by WayV. The MV of the Chinese version has different lyrics, but the MV is a total flex in visuals and CGI. For me, it hits even harder than the English version.
NCT has many members fluent in english. One, Johnny, is actually American, from Chicago so English is his first language.

Nct have some english songs. Nct 127 have highway to heaven, cherry bomb (eng ver), make a wish (eng ver), nct dream have fireflies, dont need your love, up to you.and way v have love talk.
Up
That din daa daa you hear in the background originally was THE club jam back in 1983 by a drummer named George Kranz. Many have sampled it since.
Another english song by NCT is Love Talk by WayV (the chinese unit)
international hit. one of the best songs ever
Easy! Thanks for the comment
Listening to your intro, I think you’d like Yestoday by NCT U, and Superhuman by NCT 127. Their title tracks are great, but their b-sides are what keep me coming back for more. Volcano and Music, Dance from their latest album are on repeat in my car. Great reactions! Don’t get too overwhelmed!
Yes!
NCT 127 - Highway to Heaven english version.. They filmed the music video in Mojave Desert California
some members (especially Mark and Taeyong) have a lot of influence in the producing of the songs and most of the times they write their own verses
Regular was the song that really got me into nct. It's just so hype. I had to stan and I never looked back one of the best decisions I made.
this is NCT 127 not NCT U
it's ok, technically everyone is nct u. Nct is Nct👏
PLSSSS DO MISFIT REACTION !!!!
Ya misfit one of my fav
Directors, producers and choreograohers vary. They have collaborated with Harvey Mason Jr of Harvey studios, Marteen, The Stereotypes etc. Their other fire Mv Simon Says was choreographed by Scott Forsyth, Cherry Bomb by Tony Testa. Tony Testa also trained them too.
The english lyrics was written by Vedo( he has his own RUclips channel), while NCT127 members Taeyong and Mark co-wrote their rap part in Korean(this song has 3 versions - English/Korean/Mandarin).
Yes it is Mark's tiger. He tame it when it was still a baby and he said he was just happy and proud to finally show her baby on this mv.
You might wanna check out NCT DREAM unit, RIDIN, WE GO UP, GO, BOOM
also NCT 2020 RESONANCE
and NCT 2018 BLACK ON BLACK
other English song from NCT are HIGHWAY TO HEAVEN (127) & LOVE TALK (WAYV, NCT CHINESE SUBUNIT)
many members in nct are fluent in English. Mark is from Canada, and Johnny is american as he is from Chicago :)
Highway to heaven of Nct 127 ....
English Version please. I was watching your whole kpopathon yesterday
Thanks for always trying to give the viewers what they want, but please also feel free to explore what you guys are interested in too!! Please don't overwork yourselves and have fun on this journey!!!
Also they are crazy funny and talented, you should try reacting to their guide and get to know their names and personalities, they are dope!!
This is my most favorite reactors y'all.
Yep, mine too.
Wow! That was very helpful. Thanks so much for the comment! We are learning
Another reason why WayV's MV is so different from the Korean and English version is because they are the Chinese sub-unit and at that time they couldn't have anything that might connect them to NCT or make it look like they might be working with their Korean company if they want to promote in China.
They do promote in the US under Capitol records.
That sample is from a song called "Din Daa Daa" by George Kranz. It's from the 80's and has been sampled many times.
Taeyong has said he can understand a bit but not speak fluently and you forgot to mention jaehyun
@@LittleDebbie-nd2gc yeah!! thank you!! Sorry, too many members till I forgot some of the members😅😅
@@LittleDebbie-nd2gc we can say many of NCT members can talk in English and im sure Taeyong already more improve in English since he can talk with the fans in Vlive. Tbh, im so touched when he learn English so hard for International nctzen😭👍🏻
Yes taeyong try hard to learn and improve his english since he think and wants to communicate with nctzens💕 best leader indeed
@@aleatrack6518 yes, indeed👍🏻💚
in NCT there are 5 members fluent in english: Johnny (american), Mark (canadian), Jaehyun (he is korean but lived in America for 4 years), Ten (thai), Yangyang (chinese) and other members who can speak english (not really fluent): Hendery, Taeyong, Xiaojun.
MV List ALL NCT Unit that hasn't been reacted yet:
NCT 127 = WakeyWakey, Limitless, Punch, SuperHuman, Touch, Good Thing, Chain, Fire Truck, Cherry Bomb, Touch, Simon Says, Highaway To Heaven
NCT U = Baby Don't Stop, Kick & Ride, Without You, Yestoday, Coming Home, Timeless, From Home Rearranged Ver, Misfit
NCT Dream = Chewing Gum & Heverboard, Ridin, Boom, We Go Up, We Young, Go, MyFirst & Last, Deja Vu, Don’t Need Your Love, Joy BabyShark
WayV = Turn Back Time, Bad Alive Princess Ver, Moonwalk, Take Off, Come Back
NCT 2020 = Resonance
NCT 2018 = Black On Black
NCT are a group that consists of 23 members from their late-teens to mid-twenties and participating in a total of 4 different sub-units.
NCT U, NCT 127, NCT Dream & WayV
Bare in mind WayV isn't NCT because it promotes under Label V in China, but the plan was always for it to be a unit of NCT, and that's how most fans see it.
Please do check out other male/female kpop groups their just as good!
Stray Kids - God's Menu /Easy
Blackpink - How you like that/ Whistle/ Du-du-du-du
Twice - I Cant Stop Me
Thanks so much for the comment!!! WE LOVE YOU
I love that y’all are watching the videos back to back and loving the songs! Can’t wait to see more videos in the future :)
When I subscribed an hour ago, there were 700+ subbies.. And now, there are 900+ subbies.. Czennies are here ya'll 💚💚💚
The tiger is not CGI.... Mark tamed it from birth, it's his baby.
Very real
Check out NCT 127 Superhuman .. a lot of musicians and music producers loved the song and music video :) .. Listen to NCT 127 NeoZone album as well. The whole album's great!
NOW THAT YOU’VE DONE THREE NCT U AND NCT 127 NEXT REACTIONS ....
NCT DREAM “BOOM” and “RIDIN”
NCT2018 “BLACK ON BLACK” along with their recent comeback NCT2020 “RESONANCE”
WAYV “Take Off”, “Moonwalk” and “Bad Alive”
I love how nct started your kpop journey and now more people are recommended other groups but I hope y’all still love nct !!!
Thank you guys for reacting to NCT's MV, in the future I will follow the development of your RUclips channel. I hope your channel will be successful in the future
I think you guys should react to the dance practices too. Cuz either way fans would love to see the reaction of yours to the dance practices.
congratulations on 1.1K(at this time) subscribers!!
looking forward to your future reactions to NCT! 💚
Regular shows their vision and ambition as the group to be higher, so Regular also has Chinese Version as a debut song of WayV (Chinese Subunit debuted later in 2019) too. Chinese version gives spicy vibes lol and the MV, CGI, editing techniques are soooooooooo fire... so amazing they can have different version of songs and they're still powerful and delicious. You should check out the Regular Chinese Version MV of WayV as well.
Totally agree! Everyone talking about English and Korean ver. but WayV's version is fire 🔥 MV and music are lit, hoping you guys check that out!

We can do this NctZens for NCT
This is definetly my fave reaction of this song
I just want to point out that the reason why NCT songs slap that much is because the team working behind for them are often black producer who know their references !! In collaboration with the members they write the lyrics too ! That’s why I love SM’s group music, especially NCT. the quality is top tier !
That’s awesome!! Thanks for the info!
react to NCT DREAM - RIDIN pleaseeee
up
+1
i loved their earlier releases, but this song made me stan them
They have an even more 'doom da da" remix version of this, and it's live!
Brilliant reaction! "Regular" is soooo fun when they perform it in concert, even before the show. I was in NJ and Chicago and they played it before the show started as well, and NCTzens were shouted the lyrics, it was just making it even more hype!
NCT IS INTERNATIONAL GROUP
SO MANY CHARMS💞
5:01 yeah that’s shake by ying Yang twins, the version with pit bull was a remix If I recall ! I also thought of it hearing the chorus I’m glad i’m not the only 90s baby that got the reference
Mark (the one by the tiger) is from Canada so he knows english and Johnny (aka bad man, the one doing archery in the video) is from Chicago. Jaehyun (the dude that said queso) also lived in America for four years so he knows english too. Nct is multilingual. Their members know english Korean japanese mandarin thai and a bunch other languages
That scream at the end summed up everything 😆
By the time i'm watching this you already reached 1.02K so congrats!!
You'll enjoy all of Kpop, we promise!
I was thinking the same thing but we love all music so we are excited to see where this journey takes us. Thank you for the comment!
@@HigherFaculty no problem. Glad to found ur channel. if you ever want to watch other Kpop group, especially a girl group, I recommend you to check out *Aespa.* They are like NCT's younger sister from the same company. They just debuted like 2 months ago and only have one song so far which called "Black Mamba". Hope you could react to them also.
NCT's labelmates, Red Velvet, also have an English song! Its called Bad Boy and it is one od my favorite songs from them!! These girls are so talented and beautiful!
oh my god you guys are like instantly my favourite reactors you actually notice so many details most people dont and youre so fun to watch im so glad i found u
WE LOVE YOU!!! thanks so much for the comments!
The original song was called Din Daa Daa and it was a club anthem back in the day as well as being featured in the Breakin' movies. It was later sampled by the Ying Yang Twins in their song "Shake".
Wayv also has a regular MV, except it’s the chinese version !!!
The guide that I think has the best info would the one titled, “Fastest Guide to NCT 2020”, and also the guides part 1-2 made by CLFX Fiction
next reaction
NCT 127 - high way to heaven
this is, ENGLISH VERSION TOO
Congratulations for the subscribers!
Thank you for reacting to NCT.
When you’re ready to check out other groups, Stray Kids - God’s Menu, Back Door and Easy!
This song always reminded me of “Dilemma” by Nelly and Kelly Rowland because of that same “ahh” sound.
Chinese version of Regular is WayV’s debut song
thank you for reacting !! regular is a bop .
yeess!! thank you for reacting to nct!! :D is always so nice to see~!! people in the comments telling u to react to misfit, i agree!! the one with the music video tho is a short version of the song, the actual full song is on yt aswell, just audio tho, but definietly worth a listen !!
Nct 127 is also under of capitol records
keep up these fire NCT reactions 👏🏼👏🏼
For another English song, Love Talk by WayV (the Chinese subunit of NCT) feels like something y'all would enjoy!
Superhuman is fire too.. nct 127 😎
Oh. Y’all NEED to watch WayV’s version of this!!!
Actually fun fact, nearly ⅔ of the group speaks english, we have english learners like Taeyong, Jungwoo, Chenle, Haechan and literally so many more-
Then we have members who grew up in english speaking countries like Johnny (grew up in Chicago) and Mark (grew up in Canada)
Then members who are fluent like Ten
you forgot Jaehyun who lived in America for 4 years, Xiaojun and Hendery can pretty much carry a conversation in english and Yangyang is also fluent in english
Binge watching their reactions to NCT 😍 CANT WAIT FOR MORE!
You becoming an NCTZens guys. Hahaha. Love u guys. Will keep on promoting your channel to millions of peeps i know.
If i’m not mistaken all 10 members are present and they have many english version songs along with Japanese & Chinese!
@2:49 It may look CGI but from what I learned it was said that it’s Mark’s actual tiger that he raised & trained from a cub.
@2:59 LOL thats MARK; the hottie bad man your talking about is Johnny and he is present in the video (He’s present majority of all NCT 127 videos)
@3:34 This is Johnny
welcome to "Czennie" I think you are now our family meber, LOL.
Czennie = NCTzen = the name of NCT's fanclub/fandom
Misfit!!!!!
There is also the Chinese version of Regular by WayV. The MV of the Chinese version has different lyrics, but the MV is a total flex in visuals and CGI. For me, it hits even harder than the English version.
