    How true! I switched from starch based vegetarian to starchbased vegan with less oil in 2021 after hearing a lecture from him.

    Everyone knows buying organic is better if you can get decent quality organic products. Of course even though logically organic should be cheaper, its not and the majority of folks like me cannot afford it. Though 100 percent organic isn't necessary. Some that have been used for ages and are low in toxicity except to bugs who munch on garden crops, are easily washed off and not absorbed into the plant tissue itself. I used to work on a truck farm. Studied all in use today. Some however, like many my boyfriend used were highly toxic and that's why we broke up. I wasn't exposing myself nor my kids to that. He lied to me about his farming practices. So, I have seen the charts. Because we have a thing called wind, no land practically worldwide is truly organic. There is wind carried herbicide and pesticides on all crops. Period. Also it leaches into the water table and can be absorbed by other plants within the same aquifer. Organically grown crops have less of it, only. The only way to stop from consuming it, is to stop the corporations from making and selling them. I went to the so called Farmers market here, trying to buy organic homegrown produce. It had the stickers on it from Walmart and the same code. It was regular produce being sold as organic farm grown. It didn't even have the organic sticker on it. It was over twice the price. I haven't been back. Not a single tomato came from anyone locally. They were all shipped in and came from a local produce company. I snagged one of the stickers and compared it. Yep, exactly the same. They didn't even bother removing them. Signs said "Farm Fresh Organic Produce" A farm in Mexico. Not certified organic or it would have had that sticker and code. Unless you are eating out of your own garden or can afford to shop the high end markets and pay a premium price, you are out of luck, my friend. Me, I eat as organic as I can and I wash my produce. Folks and employees touch your produce with unwashed hands and touch meats that can contain various bacteria and then the produce. I have told my boss about employees not washing or not sanitizing their hands before filling produce orders. No avail. Seen grubby nasty handed kids mauling produce. Seen it land on the dirty floor and get put back by both. People in management, no less. There is no telling what is on that produce. I definitely wash mine. The best thing any of us can do is wash our produce and other food that we can and buy as natural and chemical free as we can. Remember sunlight destroys a lot of chemicals in a short time.

    Dr McDougall what can you say about those whose suffer from paranoia,and people just afraid of human interaction,or being on edge,I been around many drinkers in my life and it seems like it would be associated with alcohol usage.
    I can understand the anxiety and fear one can feel that seems to be associated with alcoholic usage,many who drink seem to be on the defensive side,irritable,aggressive etc.
    How can you treat this type of illness if narcissism is effecting the individual.
    Many understand the food is good for them but I don't think it can be considered enough for someone with NPD,to help their mental health which is really sad to experience.

    I love eating starch based. The McDougall’s are doing tremendous services…BUT…he is out of his depth on iodine.
    If you want to understand iodine and thyroid health, the best place to start is David Brownstein, M.D. ‘s book “Iodine: Why You Need It, Why You Can’t Live Without It”
    A small percentage of people are hypersensitive to iodine, and need to start with very small amounts of iodine (whether from food or a supplement).
    I learned about this from former Melissa Gallico. Melissa wrote “The Hidden Cause of Acne” which describes how she discovered her hypersensitivity to fluoride (and iodine) after she realized the un-fluoridated water she drank while studying for her masters degree in Scotland allowed her body to heal from fluoride poisoning.
    The final report of a 6-year National Toxicology Program (NTP) review of fluoride neurotoxicity was blocked from public release by the Health and Human Services (HHS) Assistant Administrator in May 2022.
    The NTP report shows that fluoride is neurotoxic in the amounts we are exposed to with fluoridated water.
    The highest risk is to any developing fetus and babies fed formula reconstituted with fluoridated water.

    • @ScottCousland
      @ScottCousland Год назад

      @@sunflower8599 for the last few years I have been making my own “SSKI” Saturated Solution of K (potassium) I (iodine). I buy the potassium iodine from Morgellons Direct. I now take 4 drops daily (about 200,000 mcg of iodine).
      Back in 1997, I started with Liqui-Dulse made by Bernard Jensen. I started with 10 drops daily (about 400 mcg of iodine). I googled to check my spelling, and their current version of Liqui-Dulse is a bit stronger, about 56 mcg per drop.
      When I was working as a health coach, I recommended most people start with a product called Atomidine (600 mcg per drop) by Heritage (which is based on the work of Edgar Cayce).
      Once people had gradually built up to getting 6,000 mcg per day, I recommended they start taking 1/2 of a 12.5 mg (12,500 mcg) tablet of Iodoral by Optimox.
