Creedence Clearwater Revival , also referred to as Creedence and CCR, was an American rock band which recorded and performed from 1968 to 1972.
The band initially consisted of lead vocalist, lead guitarist, and primary songwriter John Fogerty; his brother, rhythm guitarist Tom Fogerty; bassist Stu Cook; and drummer Doug Clifford.
"Have You Ever Seen the Rain?" is a song written by John Fogerty and released as a single in 1971 from the album Pendulum (1970) The song charted highest in Canada, reaching number 1 on the RPM 100 national singles chart in March 1971. In the U.S., in the same year it peaked at number 8 on the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart.
My Guitar cover was a request for Alex Cisneros in Texas (Hope you like it Alex)
It’s based on The Live full Orchestral version that John Fogerty performed at the Night of the Proms Belgium/Netherlands in 2010.
My son Andrew put the BT together using some of the atmosphere from that live concert.
(I haven’t really got an audience clapping in my living room Lol) !
Played on my Alan Brason custom Stratocaster with Kinman FV-HMS pickups on bridge position through an Alesis Quadraverb Q2 with EFTP (Echoes from the past) Patch 1-68 (Classic Twang)
Sound recorded in Cubase SX 6 and edited with the three 4K Video takes in Sony Vegas pro 14.

Great instrumental interpretation, Phil. Very lively and energetic, just as it needs to be.
One of the first CCR songs I heard as an instrumental - long before I knew who CCR were or hadeven heard their recording, was 'Susie Q' played by Lonnie Mack. I was fortunate to eventually see him play at the Colne Blues Festival in Lancashire where, in a different year, I was equally fortunate to See Peter Green and the Splinter Group just after he had emerged from his long period as a recluse. He tried 'Green Manalishi' but went wrong. The audience reaction was amazing - everyone stood up and applauded or cheered. Peter literally moved back into the shadows on stage but you could see that he had been moved by the audience support. At that time he was still very insecure and spoke with a very unclear mumble. It has been great top hear him become a great interpreter of Robert Johnson in recent years.
As for 'Susie Q', it's a tune I've often tried but then I listen again to Lonnie's version and decide that maybe I'm still too much of a Bert and Hank fan to get close to that level of fierce playing.

Good Morning/Afternoon Phil, it was good to hear the instrumental version of a very popular song of the yore. It was absolutely a rockon performance and the tone of the fender simply awesome.
