The divisions are at a greater distance, ideal for a very easy and accurate reading.
Instructions: Adjust the temperature of the liquid to 20°C (if the temperature of the liquid is higher or lower, make a correction using the correction table in the box), then pour into a glass vessel with an appropriate shape (e.g. cylinder). The height of the liquid column must be equal to or greater than the length of the instrument. Insert the hydrometer into the liquid, so that it floats freely, taking care not to touch the walls of the vessel. Reading is done when the instrument is at rest at eye level. The line on the instrument that is at the level of the liquid indicates the alcohol concentration if the temperature of the liquid is 20°C, otherwise a correction is made using the table.
