Wow. I’ve spent hours trying to program my new CX-9 using both Mazda and Homelink trouble shooting and nothing worked. Tried it your way and instantly got it programmed. Thx!
What if none of your remotes are working? I had one homelink and one remote (generic) working. I hit the learn button again trying to set up the homelink on a second car and now the first car and the generic remote stopped working. It is a lift master professional from 1997 with a red learn button. I don’t think either of the original lift master remotes are working but I need to get new 1/2AA batteries to confirm. I just bought a new car and sold the old which is why I’m messing with it.
I would change the batteries, erase all the existing controls ( by holding the learn button for about 7 seconds ) then reprogramming the remotes and from there you can do the car also

Wow ! Great video ! Thank you
you nailed it. Man, oh man, did Ford make this difficult.
how do you repair or replace one that has stopped working -- built-in visor opener - Thanks in advance.
Wouldn’t be able to tell you, aside from getting a replacement
