"Good on Ya "... I was a professional Floatplane pilot in the '60s and flew the areas you are discovering. I have never been the same since retirement. Lordy I miss it all. I understand. Terry with 25,000 hrs. piloting
That is the Princess Louisa Inlet and the Malibu summer camp. This was my first west coast experience. I spent a week in this area. Went up to chatterbox falls. Absolutely fell in love with everything!
I can't say enough about this video. Unreal production quality, and your ability to capture the joy of you and the crew as well as the beauty of your surroundings was incredible.
Sailed my boat from Desolation Sound to Central America over the last two years. Gosh, how i miss the BC Coast. Ready to turn right around having just watched your video!
Watched you video for Alyssa & Jesse's Home Build, came to your channel and easily subscribed. I'm fascinated how well you record and edit. This video here is just as amazing, every shot . You certainly are a "Pro" ! My notification bell is set ,is why i'm here and i shall patiently wait for the next video. Beautiful work !
I went up louisa inlet when i was 14, absolutely loved it but i havent been back since... I'm 29 now and just bought a 30ft blue water sloop. I'm hoping to take her there one day soon. Excellent videography, you've just gained a subscriber. Cheers!
If you are interested in exploring that area of BC, look up an old book, Titled: "The Curve Of Time," by Blanchet. Widowed, in 1927, she took her children, and her boat and explored that area. She describes it well, including half the year Indian villages, with long houses, and other structures of interest. Be a nice contrast between then, and now.
Beautiful footage of one of my favorite places too! I sailed there on my own 31’ sailboat more than 10 years ago and have been itching to go back! I love the drone footage too but thought it would be risky from a moving boat - launching would be ok but recovering the drone while moving, with the dynamic wind field around the sails, not to mention obstructions like stays and sails and masts would make recovery of the drone difficult. Glad to have stumbled across your channel, for once the You Tube algorithm sent me something worth while!
I’ve enjoyed your story telling in pure life videos. I had to subscribe after watching several of your own stuff. Great journey and hope your journey continues in film making.
That's always been my favorite place too, They used to have a group that went there for New Years, sometimes some ice floating around the inlet. I might try and go there again real soon! Great video.
Really enjoyed the video, thinking about moving up to Cananda but was worried my passion for sailing would be stifled. Wow, what an incredibly beautiful place! Thanks for sharing.
Definitely interested in an adventure filmmaking workshop. I’m just getting into filmmaking and want to learn more about shot planning and time management while you’re still on an adventure and trying to enjoy your surroundings. I’m in Vancouver and am comfortable sailing so that trip plan sounds amazing.
Hey Levi, I would absolutely be interested. My wife, son and I recently moved from Seattle to Idaho and there's so much to capture - backcountry riding, lightweight backpacking, flyfishing... not sure that qualifies as Adventure but you've been a big inspiration to me this year. I basically blame you spending thousands of bucks on GH5/lenses this year (OK that's my story and I'm sticking to it). No really, love it and use it every day. Also, Sara my wife is always raving about Malibu and would be great to see it in person! - Scott
Found my way here via the Pure Living for Life timber frame video. Great film work there and the snow just made it magical. This video was excellent as well. Subscribed.
Pretty sure I have jumped from that cliff at 0:06, its in my first edit ever. Miles behind you filming wise, but nice to see someone else making videos of the prettiest place in the world
It was unbelievable to run into you and Captain John at Chatterbox last weekend, this video lit the match to us buying a sailboat and exploring Princess Louisa Inlet. It was a big surprise to watch SV Porpoise anchor right next to us at Chatterbox Falls. We actually ran into John again a couple days later and got a boat tour! Great job on your films, they're epic. Cheers.
Good day Sir it looks like you were having fun !! I have a comment to make to you a little off topic here but I wanted to send my comment to your channel. I just finished watching the final video you made for pure living for life timber frame house, and want to congratulate you on a job very well done. You made the series of videos very enjoyable to watch. I just subscribed to your channel and I see that you also have other interesting hobbies other than filming. You are one interesting person living life to the fullest. I think I will enjoy your other videos as well Take care .............Erik
Outstanding video! Your drone footage is spectacular. Can you answer a question by chance? What are you using for a microphone and wind screen? No wind noise! Fantastic audio for outdoor work.
Levi, great video (again), it really took me back, I went to Malibu camp in 1971. You didn't film the rapids, so I couldn't tell, is the pool still on the point or did they widen the channel? Please , please make more stuff, it is great!
If you are interested in an Adventure Filmmaking workshop in _2018_ - could you help me understand _why_ >> left.ly/workshop-form

Sweet hope to sail with you some day - in the 80’s we built Vancouvers Launch with Greg Foster on Galiano - those waters are truly magical

Superb, congratulations!
Love the production quality! Also is this boat a Vagabond 47 ? Other than the aft portlights this looks exactly like the ship I am looking at getting!
Have you ever sailed the great lake's?
wow, your color grading skill is awesome.
Unreal scenery man! You make me want to learn to sail!!
Great video..., Watched it again
