    II really appreciate you pointing out that different placement, and different notes; i.e. lower notes may not land or resonate as strongly as higher notes in the mask. We amateur and hobby singers who practice on our own don’t always understand why a sound is ‘feeling’ different and your explanation of that is really helpful. Thank you for your video. This was awesome.

    Great video. And the way you present it is so lovely. I knew already what placement is but didn’t really get it right. This video made me finally understand what placement is and how it works. Big AHA.
    Thank you.

    6:50 n-y-ah
    7:56 lower register, do you feel a buzzy sort of feeling coming Your mask?
    8:50 continue
    9:55 how to sing it in the higher register
    10:36 higher register practice
    11:41 head voice practice
    13:55 press your top teeth to your bottom lip, or press your teeth together, or hum these exercises or any lyric to help you push your voice forward
    𝐚𝐝𝐝𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐭𝐢𝐩𝐬::
    1) Use touch by touching a feature from your mask (nose, cheek) which helps really remind you where u want your voice to come from. 2) you can try practicing in front of a mirror to see what faces you make when making certain noises. This helps you memorize the feeling.

    For those still worried about “nasal sound”, you need the passages for mixed.
    It’s a long journey.
    You got this!

    Think of a big X on the wall of your bedroom. Put a triangle in the bottom and a heart in the top of it. Put a circle at the right side of it and a square to the left side of it. This is a good way to remember the four areas of competition with other singers on planet Earth. Who is the number one singer on planet Earth in each area? ❤️? Most loved singers? Triangle? Most Influential singers? Square? Most intelligent singers? Circle? Most money singers? - TAV ♥️🇺🇸🌎

    So helpful! Thank you! So should I be practicing these exercises everyday until I get the hang of it? I find this very challenging to get down. I'm a beginner and I just want to have a decent voice and be able to lead hymns at church and maybe sing a special song at church one day, but it seems like such a far-fetched dream! I fell in love with singing as an adult so unfortunately I didn't grow up in the world of music....btw, I haven't seen any new videos from you guys in a long time! I hope you all are doing well! Blessings!

    How do you pull your headvoice forward to sound like chest voice if you can't sing chest voice on that high of a note & naturally flip into headvoice?

    You are doing a disservice to your students by having them only resonate in the mask. A lowered larynx gives you a much better sound.
