Aside the obvious Blade Runner, the episode with Nebula kinda reminded me of the French TTRPG "Noc", in which the Earth is sealed and locked inside a strange (see what I did there?) artefact that isolate it completely from the sun, and handled by a totalitarian administration that would make the Vogons' from H2G2 look like lax and easy to handle, adding to the mix dangerous entities that came out of the woodwork when the sunlight vanished from the sky.
Here's a nitpick, the episodes this season are more creative than in the first yet there shorter. in season one the length was between 38 minutes to 32 minutes. Here its 34 minutes to 29 minutes
Honestly this feels like the weakest episode, mostly just fight action scenes and rushed plot. But yeah overall I loved this season, the ideas felt more creative and everyone acted in character it was also funny at times without letting the humor take over which has always been a big MCU problem. On a sad note this show was supposed to have 4 season, with season 3 being in development now but season 4 got cut, which is a shame because once again this show has potential and for me personally has been the first-time having fun watching Marvel since Guardians of the Galaxy 3
1602 episode still my favorite. I didn’t care for the finale that much. Overall entertaining but didn’t like how they kept OP Captain Carter and Kahhori with no struggle whatsoever. Reminded me of Rey all over again except I like Carter and Kahhori. Retread Dr Supreme Strange’s grief of Christine felt like a step back. I suppose if executed differently or have more of a build up could have serviced the story better but I would have preferred something different.
Ever since the first Dr. Strange mivie, ive been saying practically every move by Dr. Strange had a counterpart in Naruto, and supreme strange is even an Jinchuriki 😂
Some thoughts, while I agree that the pacing is a issue, and the prisoners kinda felt dumb since plenty of them can fly. I don’t really find some of the other things that much of a problem. For strange supreme’s motive. Of course he didn’t give up on bringing back his universe. The biggest trait of all superheroes and super villains is Stubbornness, you can’t be one without it. Now obviously there’s a limit before the readers/viewers get bored of it without some twist, but this is only his second showing so it’s fine. The infinity stones, are magic rocks you think of what you want and they do it. I don’t remember Thanos needing to practice with them in the movies. it’s not like the secret invasion finale where those powers are biological and need to be learned. The only limit to the stones is how much the body can handle them, which the infinity armor already proved to counteract. Plus Peggy wasn’t all that creative anyway, “power stone big punch,” “space stone to teleport shield around,” “oh hey strange made clones, I should do that too.” And she already used the time stone last episode. Kahhori showed way more creative with her use of the space stone by itself.
You’re excited, but haters are already complaining about how OP the 2 ladies are in this episode. So Gaia is no longer the most powerful female then? Hey Omn1👋🏻.
(Forgive the copy/paste, don't want to write something different for every reaction I watch) It's a great finale if you judge it purely by spectacle, but merely an OK one as a conclusion to the entire season. Maybe less if you're like me and are torn on Strange's sudden change of heart. I liked his idea of capturing universe killers, but it definitely feels like they didn't plan ahead for this because it's nowhere near as cohesive as S1's finale. Complicated, if I had to summarize it in one word. Season 2 is better on the whole, but Season 1's conclusion was more satisfying.
Sudden change???? He was spending all his time mourning until the watcher came then he had a distraction but after the distraction he went back to trying to save Christine
It kinda feels like a let down to me really. I felt the season was uneven. Good solo episodes but the reveal that ties them all up and who the bad guy is and what his motivation felt all quickly bunched at the end. Maybe if it was slowly revealed at the latter half instead of just putting it all out there at the last episode. I'm also not sure if I missed any episode or important scene but Kahhori's power set wasn't clearly defined.
While I view this season as vastly superior to the last it does face the same issue that the season would've made more sense if it had 10 episodes instead of 9
She has the powers of the space stone, energy blasts (like we saw happen to captain marvel), portals/teleportation (we have seen a lot), telekinesis (moving objects through space), barriers (stopping objects within space), super speed (moving herself quickly through space). The killmonger thing was her teleporting him through the armor then through a portal.
Ehhh... this made the infinity stones look immensely underpowered, which I guess we can say because Peggy had no idea how to use them. No matter how Strange makes himself, those stones would be able to control any category he made himself stronger in. This season felt like it tried to do way too much at the end and should have replaced some of the slower and less important episodes with more set up for the finale.
I think the MCU needs Kahhori and Peggy to save itself... (and Loki of course our boy Loki) i had more fun watching these three in the last couple of weeks than everything Marvel has put out otherwise so far in the Multiverse Saga xD
I think Kahhori only sent her own people home; each universe has its own set of infinity stones so she wouldn’t be able to send anyone else. But the Watcher could send everyone home.
I thoroughly enjoyed this season, far more than season 1. The episodes had a much better grasp on the characters and how to write them into the stories and didn't just rely on pointless character banter intended to provide "humor" to the episodes. That said, I think the release of the episodes was a little weird. With season 1, it was really good. We got a bunch of isolated stories until the Thor episode, where we first saw Infinity Ultron, and then episode 8 was how he came to power and episode 9 was how he was defeated. But season 2 was all over the place. I think I would've preferred if episode 1 was the Tony Stark and Gamora episode, and then we got episode 1 for episode 2, and then episode 3 as it was, followed by episodes 2, 7, and 6, in that order. So by that point, we'd have seen the unfinished episode from last season first, the isolated episodes, and then finally the Kahhori episode. And then episodes 5, 8, and now 9 would have brought back Agent Carter and told a three part story from her perspective. It would make the whole season a lot easier to follow, instead of getting a prequel for episode 4, a sequel for episode 5 that goes unfollowed until three episodes later, and a brand new character introduction placed in the middle of a three part story (four, if you count her episode), as well as another isolated episode placed in the middle of that story just because. But I can always watch the season in my preferred order whenever I rewatch the show. Just gotta remember the sequence. 4, 1, 3, 2, 7, 6, 5, 8, 9.
A personal hypothasis on why Strange did not collect any infinity stones. Sense he is the only fragment of his own universe (think of it like a seed crystal) he can not have any contaniments in him from other realities. The infinity stones of other realities may be contamiating to him for what he wants to do.
@@Greenhawk4 Maybe he did but I would not call it clear and cut. Also the spear may not be powerful enough to be an issue. It may take a thing of cosmic level power like a nexus being or the stones.
Why couldn’t Thor or Wen Wu just fly , Thor could just fly with his hammer, and Wen Wu could use the 10 rings to save them selfs and maybe some other characters, but instead they just gave the weapons
@@Francis... I dont know, they did move, I mean there were flying charecters etc., I do understand Hela and some other charecters but that scene is ruined for me
I think kahori said something at some point that the energy around the forge is weakening and that she can do something now. So it stands to assume that maybe the forge has some sort "meta-human dampening effect" on any power in there , which explains why they could have just use their powers but they could move and throw things out of that dampening range? At least until it became unstable enough later
It is Yggdrasil....Loki sitting on a throne holding the timelines symbolizes him as if he's sitting on a saddle holding the rein riding Yggdrasil because the name "Yggdrasil" means "Odin's horse"....(Yggr= Odin; drasill= horse)
This episode just kept snowballing, both in it’s narrative and action scenes, and I loved every second. I’m genuinely surprised by how well the plot holds up, considering just how much ground the episode covered. What an insane ending to such an insane show. What If is peak.
Bit too much, power scaling is absurd. 616 having a hard time using infinity stones, meanwhile Peggy... 8 is better than the finale. Still a good season 8.5/10 _Plus the building to its finale is not as good as s1._

Don't quite understand your enjoyment of the Peter Quill episode. It felt the most like season 1 to me with the writing and character banter and forced humor and whatnot. Every other episode this season I really liked, though. The Watcher saw the future. He wanted it to turn out this way. He would like Dr. Strange would atone for his sins and recreate the universe he destroyed through his death.
If only strange kept it to 'universe killers' he would have still gotten his wish since there are an infinite number of them. He would not have tried to get Kahhori or Captain Carter, well we needed a conflict to it, and the watcher may(or may not) have intervened again.
No it's just terrible writing. Like how Peggy was able to grab all 6 infinity stones... How she some how mastered using them the first time she ever tried.... How her sheild can literally block everything even magic somehow 😂😂😂fan boys are the reason marvel never has to make better content 😂😂😂 aslong as you get a flashy fight you don't care if the plot is good.

The characters in the MCU are actually depowered in comparison to how they should be
@@jimmylee9120Peggy's skill is about the same as Killmongers from season 1 after getting the stones
If he could use them that well why can't she

I didn’t notice it the first time, but “Steve”’s facial expressions are very Strange-like, not at all Steve-like.
The okayest episode was not the nebula one. It was the Christmas one with Happy and Hammer.

Guys, it’s probably just me, but I want a captain carter show.
They should've finished the Agent Carter series.
It needed more than 2 seasons.
@@k.delpino1124 that’s also true
I think the only thing that bothered me about this episode was why could captain Carter wield the stones when it hurt hulk and killed Tony? 🤷♀️ other than that it was pretty solid
Cap Carter = Rey. OP to a degree that's hard to justify.

Yea the runtimes did bother me
Honestly this feels like the weakest episode, mostly just fight action scenes and rushed plot.
Struggling doesn't always have to be a thing
Omni: shadow clone ju..
Me: MULTI FORM TECHNIQUE!!! Lol
I always forget about Mult-Form since they dropped that technique off the face of the Earth so long ago now 😂
Marvel best way to end 2023.🔥🔥🔥
this show just loves Carter soooo much, she's beating Strange's ass now too?
Well the heroes and villains gave her help with their weapons
ja and I'm excited for the season 3.
"Hey, look at this new thing that just showed up in my backyard!" - The Watcher

The green one was Hulk with a Gamma powered sword.
Ever since the first Dr. Strange mivie, ive been saying practically every move by Dr. Strange had a counterpart in Naruto, and supreme strange is even an Jinchuriki 😂
lets gooo final was lit!
If we see this Peggy in live action it’s gonna be a huge pop lol
Hey Omn1👋🏻.
Season 1 and Season 2 ....it based on Captain Carter all along.
THIS IS LOWKEY SECRET WARS
(Forgive the copy/paste, don't want to write something different for every reaction I watch)
It's a great finale if you judge it purely by spectacle, but merely an OK one as a conclusion to the entire season.
"Sudden" nah man, he never gave up, he just put his plan on pause until he convinced the Watcher he wasn't a threat
Sudden change???? He was spending all his time mourning until the watcher came then he had a distraction but after the distraction he went back to trying to save Christine
He was never over this loss
Oh I definitely agree this season is way better than the first! This is the weakest in my mind, they really needed another episode.
I thought infinity stones weren't supposed to work outside their own universe.🤔
Ehhh... this made the infinity stones look immensely underpowered, which I guess we can say because Peggy had no idea how to use them. No matter how Strange makes himself, those stones would be able to control any category he made himself stronger in. This season felt like it tried to do way too much at the end and should have replaced some of the slower and less important episodes with more set up for the finale.
The Tree!!!!
Just Finished Watching This Episode It was so Good, it's Sad this is the Final Episode of the Season, I Want More it's That Good Now what?
The sword was the 1602 sword that Thor wielded.
It looks like the sword of power from Masters of the Universe. . . Kinda fitting. 😮
I think it was probably Excalibur
It was called the All Father.
Named after the sword used by Odin in his wartimes.
18:30 LOL I like that! 😂😂😂
The Kahhouri and Hela episodes were medium for me but still a great season! I don't know if the Watcher could exist with the Sacred Timeline in place.

I think the MCU needs Kahhori and Peggy to save itself... (and Loki of course our boy Loki) i had more fun watching these three in the last couple of weeks than everything Marvel has put out otherwise so far in the Multiverse Saga xD
So you can repair an incursion universe? If so we know what’s going to happen in next doctor strange movie
There is some problem, but it was good
How can space stone send people to their home ?
I think Kahhori has powers like America Chavez. Since her power originated from the Space Stone, she can open portals to other universe.
I think Kahhori only sent her own people home; each universe has its own set of infinity stones so she wouldn’t be able to send anyone else. But the Watcher could send everyone home.
No one talking about Thorg (Thor-Hulk) that appear in this episode? okey
Didn’t he absorb mjolnir and Odin’s spear towards the end?
@@Greenhawk4 We don't know what he did with it. He could had made a portal on his hand for all we know.
@@robertjohnson7877 nah he clearly absorbed it
@@Greenhawk4 Maybe he did but I would not call it clear and cut. Also the spear may not be powerful enough to be an issue. It may take a thing of cosmic level power like a nexus being or the stones.
@@robertjohnson7877 or maybe because he doesn’t need them
Why couldn’t Thor or Wen Wu just fly , Thor could just fly with his hammer, and Wen Wu could use the 10 rings to save them selfs and maybe some other characters, but instead they just gave the weapons
I'd like to think that the forge is "absorbing" them. That's why they can't move.
@@iCyberDev Yeah I think you are right
I forgot that was the tree that Loki made to save the Timeline. I just thought it was just Yggdrassil.
It is Yggdrasil....Loki sitting on a throne holding the timelines symbolizes him as if he's sitting on a saddle holding the rein riding Yggdrasil because the name "Yggdrasil" means "Odin's horse"....(Yggr= Odin; drasill= horse)

Bit too much, power scaling is absurd.

For me still Dr. Strange😎, mine from S1 as well.
13:30 Goosebumps👌My only complaint this time... They did not use the CAPE one single time... That was criminal 😢. It is like the writers forgot he has it... Damn!
Happy New Year everyone 🎉
how did they forget? He still flew around and that is thanks to the cape :P If cape flew of his back, he would fall into his forge much sooner xD
@@kptmaci4979 That is not what I am referring to. That Cape is so much more than just helping Dr Strange fly. It has it's own personality. He was fighting against 2 opponents and not once the Cape flies to help him?! To either distract them or restraint them?!😳🤔. I am sorry my friend, I just don't buy it😂
Don't quite understand your enjoyment of the Peter Quill episode. It felt the most like season 1 to me with the writing and character banter and forced humor and whatnot. Every other episode this season I really liked, though. And pair that with the handful of episode from season 1 I like (Doctor Strange, Thor, Ultron, and Guardians of the Multiverse), and the fact that basically every other episode is simply okay, then the show is, on average, one of the better D+ Marvel shows.

Kahhori would’ve been so useful in the fight against Infinity Ultron.
The Watcher saw the future. He wanted it to turn out this way. He would like Dr. Strange would atone for his sins and recreate the universe he destroyed through his death.
Hated what they did with Strange here.
Hope they keep making more seasons of this and that we get a few more follow up episodes to characters from this season and last season.
Also you think strange supreme had a wall full of universes killers and some how could not win against Peggy Carter (power is super strength) and the chick we met 2 episodes ago who only has a fraction of the space stones power.... We literally see Stange supreme has already captured Thanos with all six stones and some how he loses to these 2.... It makes BO SENSE.
@@jimmylee9120 One I wasn't a fanboy, two I actually agree with all your takes and thoughts the same. Peggy is not that strong(unless we add the stones as a booster then it won't make sense), and most of the so-called 'universe killers' are just easter eggs.
I just think that Strange would and could have done the same thing without much consequence if he stayed with capturing 'universe killers' if they were like him, their universe are gone as well, it wouldn't matter if they died. I just wanted a better ending for him since he didn't get to see her.
