JBLs are expensive because they produce quality sounds, and they are quality products. Anker speakers on the other hand are cheaper because they produce mediocre sounds.
JBL issue is not good for max volume, when you always do max volume it affects the speaker and caused to crackling sounds bc of the bass, also the battery easily breaks. based on my experience 🥴
Here in Brazil the Flip 5 is 589.90 reais (117.71 dollars), I paid for my soundcore 3, 250 reais (49.89 dollars) on Aliexpress, for the price the soundcore 3 is much more worth it, I could buy a motion boom which is much better with the price of the Flip 5.
This comparison is biased against soundcore because you did not tune the speaker from the app. The app is there for a reason to give the speaker a complete sound. I'm sorry your demonstration is misleading you didn't allow people to listen to the soudcore at full power.

That is horsesh*t. I have the soundcore 2 since october 2018 and it is rock solid through this day, it has survived a few drops and showers. Also battery life is still good 3+ years later. Granted the sound isn't the best, but for the price I think it is one of the best IF not the best bluetooth speaker. Maybe it's your bad luck and you got a worse sample, or you just didn't charge it properly.

the driver itself on the jbl is much more better quality (its a shelf speaker level of driver). comparing them is ridiculous only due to this fact
