Close comparison, although flip 6 is on the edge. But for the price comparison, flip 5 is defn a go-to.
My opinion, they both are better, but I like Flip 6. I have just got flip 6. 😅
5 smoother, 6 more articulate. JBL cross overs can be hit or miss.

I have both and i wouldnt say theres any differance in sound ... Dont let a 10 cent tweeter change your choice especialy if you get a better price on a 5 because many non tweeter speakers sound better then others with a tweeter. The 6 might be better only because it has the 3 band equalizer but if your not into adjusting eq the 5 is just as good .
Congrats! Best Speaker comparison I've ever seen so far. I have 2 JBL Flip 5, 1 JBL Charge 4 and 1 Anker Soundcore Motion +.
In my opinion JBL Flip 5 in Stereo Mode is awesome but the Anker Anker Soundcore Motion + is epic on its own...!

flip 6 has more clarity in the mids and highs, flip 5 feels a little saturated compared to flip 6, flip 6 definitely has an improvement
A good video side by side. 6 Def has better highs and bass sounded good. Only wished you did the last song on both.
The 6 has clearer sound as to be expected but honestly, I have the 5 and it sounds just fine to me, not really worth spending the extra money for 6. I would get another 5 for stereo and I'll be happy with that.

6 is better.. I have try both, f5 & f6.. But get 2 flip 6 for stereo mode.. Worth value for money..
We need to get feedback from the person playing the speakers. They sound similar to me, but then the sound of these 2 speakers is playing thru my own speaker. Don't know how can we really hear the difference, unless we hear the actual speakers, and not thru our own phones. If you understand what i mean.

@@josephakpan6559 Oh you should really concern purchasing second jbl flip 5 for stereo pair but i wpuld consider you giving a little more money to get charge 5 since it has a tweeter as well and also 30w woofer with frequency response of 60hz to 20khz it would be better choise 😉
Try reset it.. press hold the play & vol + for 3 - 5 secs.. hope its gonna solve ur issue

I think the JBL flip 6 clearly has better insterment seperation and trebble clairity than the flip 5. It also has a slightly more powerfull and punchy bass with an overall slightly higher max volume. I would 100% go with the flip 6.

Yea. I use my flip 6 the same way.
The flip 5 has a much better sound quality. The flip 6 sounds distorted when played to high. I think the small tweeter is the cause of this problem. It's sounds like a cheap quality made speaker. I returned mine the same day I purchased it

If I play my flip6 and flip5 in Party mode the flip5 is slightly louder than the flip6.

The tweeter really help sound of flips 6 to be sounded so clear hands down
the flip 5 sounds SO MUCH BETTER if you put it in low frequency mode
JBL doesn't have low frequency mode. The so called "lfm" just disables some safety systems which means that you can actually ruin your elements inside the speaker. And it also ruins sound quality.
That is why i never use them.. not really recommended
I bought 5 then exchanged for 6. 6 sounds better with twitter and has better Bluetooth.

Same, flip 5 sounded more muddy to me without the tweeter. 6 with the software update and eq from the JBL app is worth the few extra bucks for me.

You buy Flip 6 anyday over Flip 5.. however both are good. But I have noticed that Flip 5 doesnt disconnect from the phone when i got a call which has handled pretty well by Flip 6. Small things do make a difference.

Flip 4 has dual drivers. Charge 3 too. Everything after that is mono! Flip 6 is mono + additional tweeter

@@ricardotz865 La compré hace más de medio año y hay mucha diferencia, el Flip 6 tiene más potencia en agudos, mejores medios y como tú lo dijiste, en bajos no hay mucha diferencia.
De hecho, el Flip 5 tiene mejores graves a comparación del Flip 6.
Personalmente sí te recomiendo el cambio.
