@realchimera Are you an idiot? What makes you think RCF is only 62k? That's a starting MSRP. You go to any Lexus dealer and look at a production model RCF. They are all at least 70k or more.
King Jack Calm down you moron. I didn't pay attention to how precisely this car costs. Because this car is just to cheap and ugly. I did go to the dealer a couple of months ago, but I picked up a 2015 GS350 F sport, otherwise I wouldn't even both to watch a lexus video on youtube.
I'll catch up to you in the degree department, in two years, if the second leg of my electrical engineering degree doesn't beat me into submission first.
I applaud Lexus for having the balls to grace their cars with truly polarizing, love it or hate it styling. I personally love the new styling direction. The people who hate it probably love new VWs, which are some of the most dreadfully boring designs on the planet in my opinion. This was a good debut review. More opinion and less pure brochure/spec sheet info and for goodness' sake some exhaust/engine noise would be great.
Maybe except for the front grill this is an absolute dream car! Lexus engineering with the sporty spirit like you feel in the GT86 / FR-S, spectacular design, high-tech solutions... Great!
Man i wish other car reviews were this informative regarding the small technical things that go into modern cars. Thank you FLD, i really enjoyed this video.
Amazing review! I've seen about all the rcf reviews and yours is the most comprehensive! Keep up the good work! This made me subscribe to your channel.
Great review. Tbh best presenter on fldtours imo. However i would have like some comparison with its major competitors out there like the m4. Also some it would have been nice to include some sounds clips of the exhaust note. Great job. Keep it up.
This wasn't a review, it was an ad...What automotive reviewer would ever honestly tell car enthusiasts that the traction control off mode is "only for professional race car drivers and/or Lexus engineers"? Yeah...I'm sure nobody will immediately turn all that nanny-bullshit off the moment they are on a track or some empty stretch of road. Also, who in their right mind would say that not being able to perform a burnout is good thing? This is supposed to be a sports car, not a fucking Prius. I would also like to add that, in my opinion, the RC-F is right up there with the new SL65 AMG on the list of ugliest luxury-sport coupes/convertibles. No matter how much I try, I just can't get past those damn two-pieced, bulging headlights on the RC-F.
Alex Lindemann Your dumb, manufactures do this all the time. If even bothered to compare the two cars in side profiles. They are the same car. Dipshit!
Jerry Ly The FRS is a 200 plastic light piece of crap. This car has a different chassis, different suspension, different brakes, different interior and cabin design, different engine, different price and performance, made at a different factory to do different things. One is a luxury sports car while the other is one that people in the lower middle class drives to make themselves feel rich.
Danny Bopp I have no doubt about the handling and maneuverability of the RC-F; I'm just trolling. Lexus fans are almost as die hard & loyal to their modified, Cylon looking Toyota's than GT-R enthusiasts are to their ugly, shoebox shaped Nissan's (God knows why!?).
The cars whill be modified and improved in the comming years.i am sure it will hit 4.1 seconds in a year or 2.And working closely with BMW de might us carbon fiber to bring down the weiht of the car.
Lexus does silly things though, like the fake quad exhaust on the IS-F. That's more silly than piping in the exhaust note via the stereo speakers on some of BMW's M cars. Because of things like that, it's hard to take them seriously, for me anyway...
Thank's for explaining the features to this New Lexus RC-F series, awesome coupe vehicle will be buying one day, good to know all the driving dynamics of the vehicle.
Hey there! Thanks for watching and commenting on the show. I did some of my opinions about the car, but in the final edit some things get cut out. I honestly did love driving the car, but it was heavy, and I didn't care for the climate controls in the center of the dash. I thought the display looked like a 90's car. And the TVD had three modes ON TOP of the six driving modes...way too confusing. I hope that helps and thanks again for watching!
It's funny how some of you guys are so loyal to German engineering, yet know so little!! Just to start out some basic common knowledge. Lexus brand yes, I agree boring in the past, but for good reasons, again I don't agree, but now they are stepping it up their game in the sport compact car, as well as sports cars!! By reading some of these comments, I could tell who's hating on the brand. They were boring because they were working on fuel economy, and had no design I agree with that. But now I actually love the design with the big spindle grill, and and separate head lights (some people complain it's a joke), different than any other company. Take a good look at the interior & exterior, doesn't like cheap or boring like the same style that German engineers Dish out year after year and change the lightbulbs and say it's different! The other big reason, I would buy this over with German engineering because the resell value and Low maintenance!!!! For example: guys do some homework three years after the same model comes out, one from Lexus the other one from lets say BMW or Mercedes look who's worth more in that time and who drops in value!!!! By the way the new design, spindle grill probably for the young crowd not for the old!!!!!! Remember this, because other manufacturers will try to design bigger grill.
The rebirth of the 90's SC with a new badge name. Good job Lexus & its about time you folks brought back a performance coupe. Now get to work on the Supra please we need to get those Euro boys!!
Man I'm going to get downvote raped for this but I think this is one of the best looking sub 65k cars out there. And for the tech you get, holy shit!!!! Decent review but you kinda read off the Lexus pamphlet too much... Either way I enjoyed the vid. Thanks!
Rick B IDK if you got any downvotes but your net rating right now is in the positives. I think the same way - a substantial car for a price that rivals comparably less-equipped base German contenders. And yes, I don't know what is with this internet consensus that this car looks ugly. I have seen one in person. It looks much better in the flesh simply because of the depth; all these lines and shapes exist in a 3D space, not a 2D plane. This car looks "meh" in pictures.
Lexus is on an absolute warpath. Would not expect the F line cars to surpass AMG, M, in the near future. I think many customers are getting tired of the lack of reliability of the other German brands.
Correction: The carbon fiber and the active spoiler are a tribute to the Lexus LFA. Not the IS-F. IS-F did not have either of them. Carbon Fiber is built by the same factory, which built the LFA.
Nice! You know your Lexus cars, even the LFA. I did say the blue and white stitching on the interior was an ode to the IS F, not the wing. I wouldn't dare say that. Good note though. Thanks for watching!
This car looks epic I don't care what no one says about it,Lexus new design is striking an absolutely beautiful.Ive driven one of these, this shit is no joke😍😍😍😍😍
I am a Lexus fanboy, and I LOOOOVE the RCF, but for some reason I just want to disagree with everything you say like I loath Lexus... it just doesn't feel like a true review... more like a long commercial. Speak more natural and less... presentation-y and give us some negatives too!!
Great job Danny and crew. I don't like that this car has an expert mode. All this will do is temp the driver to take risks. Please keep the electronic safety features on, the life you save could be mine.
I thought this was a good review and to those that are complaining about there not being enough negative commentary on the car it could be for two reasons. Either the car really was that good or Danny was overwhelmed by the new car euphoria. If it's the latter, then that will most likely fade as he reviews more cars and becomes more use to that euphoria. overall though, I thought it was a good review and I look forward to seeing more!
Thank you so much, specford6, for the kind words. With a racing and stunt driving background, I've driven many cars. I always try to take a fresh approach to driving a new car. It really was an amazing car to drive. Thanks for the feedback.
Nice review, but wish you had some reference to the 1/4 mile times and speed. This car has a ton of power, but I am wondering if with the relatively low 4.4 second 0-60 time, it isn't launching as well as the competition but maybe has some good mid-range grunt?
I really, really like the review. Only 2 things, I feel like the review was not complete. No performance numbers like motortrend, if they allow you with the car that is would be great and complete the review for a total A+! And 2nd, the comment about the wing, come one. An M3 style duckbill type lip creates hundreds of pounds of downforce at speed. A lot of cars use that function, there are a lot of accurate information on downforce to keep the car stable with trunk spoilers/wings.
"The transmission enhances this feeling with a torque converter, giving this a true sports car feel." so my 4 door camry with its tofu suspension and whimpy 4 cylinder must be a japanese ferrari
Loved the review. 2 thumbs up for the detailed info on all 6 driving modes. The 6th "hidden" mode (only to be used by Lexus engineers) seems like a video game cheat code needed to unlock this feature. Very cool! The only thing that I would have added to this video was engine sound. I never heard any engine roar. Otherwise, this was a great high quality video and review.
This guy just went full our nerd mode for 2 straight minutes blabbering about all the driving modes and how to turn them on and off. We dont care what buttons you need to push and those details. We want to see you sliding sideways, smoking the tires and enjoying the way it DRIVES. Also the music is hideous
wasnt so sure about this presenter (first video ive seen with him). but after that blooper type bit at the end he seems pretty chill. id do the same in that situation despite it accomplishing nothing :P looking forward to future episodes :)
Everyone's hating on the car cause they can't afford it. It looks pretty awesome to me.
22laith22 Precisely!
22laith22 No. It's because this car is too heavy, chunky and too cheap. $62k is not even enough for a base model BMW M4.
22laith22 Just got it! It is so cool ; )
I am getting this car as a reward for finishing my engineering degree this May :)
Wow. Generous parents
You dick!!! ;) :) Congrats, for the degree and the car!. Now, pull up the road and let's have a race with my S65 AMG :)
and ill grab my turbo 1999 honda civic, with a magnaflow exhaust, lowered 3 inches. JK hahaha. Don't have a honda.
I'll catch up to you in the degree department, in two years, if the second leg of my electrical engineering degree doesn't beat me into submission first.
No debt?
This is probably the best review of the Lexus rcf i've seen.
I applaud Lexus for having the balls to grace their cars with truly polarizing, love it or hate it styling. I personally love the new styling direction. The people who hate it probably love new VWs, which are some of the most dreadfully boring designs on the planet in my opinion. This was a good debut review. Great video, guys! Beautifully shot. Welcome to the "Best Coast"!
I work at a dealership and we have one of these on display currently. Heard many a salesman lie about the spoiler functionality hahaha
Awesome job. Keep this guy please. He is informative and entertaining. Good stuff!
wait, how can you talk about the dynamic engine sound and not give us a demo!?
That evening sunset is no JOKE!
this guy did an excellent review.
the RCF looks amazing.
Great and detailed review! Please do more of these!
Great review, Danny. You did the vehicle justice and made it enjoyable. I hope to see more reviews from you in the future.
Amazing review! I've seen about all the rcf reviews and yours is the most comprehensive! Keep up the good work! This made me subscribe to your channel.
amazing beautifully designed & Performance
Great review dan! beautiful car!
Great review. Tbh best presenter on fldtours imo. However i would have like some comparison with its major competitors out there like the m4. Also some it would have been nice to include some sounds clips of the exhaust note. Great job. Keep it up.

This is a FRS with 3 inches in the quarter panels. Good job Lexus, nothing has changed really.
To be fair, on public roads, it is indeed very foolish to turn off driver aids if you aren't a skilled driver.
Jerry Ly Your dumb.
Alex Lindemann
Your dumb, manufactures do this all the time. If even bothered to compare the two cars in side profiles. They are the same car. Dipshit!

Feels like I'm the only one that actually like the RC-F
Looks good to me
I like it too they r just trolling
David Mireles TBH I think most of these "keyboard warriors" haven't even driven the car.
0-60 in 4.4 seconds; yikes! Better bring a sleeping blanket and a copy of War & Peace.
I can agree with you on that one. But it handled really nicely through those canyon roads. I squealed the tires and she stuck!
Danny Bopp
I have no doubt about the handling and maneuverability of the RC-F; I'm just trolling. Lexus fans are almost as die hard & loyal to their modified, Cylon looking Toyota's than GT-R enthusiasts are to their ugly, shoebox shaped Nissan's (God knows why!?).
Only on the internet do people say 4.4 to 60 is a slow time...

Hey everyone! Thanks for watching and giving your feedback!
Thank's for explaining the features to this New Lexus RC-F series, awesome coupe vehicle will be buying one day, good to know all the driving dynamics of the vehicle.
Not too long ago Lexus had the most boring cars on the road but now Lexus is on FIRE!!!
Good deal Dannyboy excellent review of a Lexus you guys and girls are the best
More detailed than other reviews I have watched. Keep yo the good work!
There's something I really like about this car as a total package, I especially feel drawn to that interior.
Gorgeous car! Glad to see some competition to the BMW M4. Out of the two, I'd take the Lexus RC-F. Also, I love this car's gauge cluster!
The RC F is one wicked machine, trust me! The m4 is not bad, but too harsh for me.
That ending was so epic.
I feel like isn't really a review. It's more like an info commercial.
Hey there! Thanks for watching and commenting on the show. I did some of my opinions about the car, but in the final edit some things get cut out. Good review Bop. Cheers from the Great White North!
I liked this episode honestly. Sara doesn't do a bad job by any means but I just liked his calmness a little more.
The rebirth of the 90's SC with a new badge name. Good job Lexus & its about time you folks brought back a performance coupe. Now get to work on the Supra please we need to get those Euro boys!!
Getting an RCF for my first car. Saving money for a while and putting a $9,000 down payment on one. The RCF is my dream car :)
Can no one lie about this
FIRST!
Ha ha, Danny don't you just love the California sun.
I'm getting this CAR!!!! Just a different BEASTS MODE...GOOD REVIEW
This Danny Bopp guy is fantastic, much better reviewer than sara sauer in my opinion. He sounds very knowledgeable and well informed on the car
A new reviewer ..... About time !!!!!!!!
This is one great machine. I have driven it at a Lexus promotion at the Joilet Autobahn a few weeks back. Toyota (Lexus) makes great vehicles.
About time we got a new reviewer to listen to :)
Man I'm going to get downvote raped for this but I think this is one of the best looking sub 65k cars out there. And for the tech you get, holy shit!!!! Decent review but you kinda read off the Lexus pamphlet too much... Either way I enjoyed the vid. Thanks!

Gotta say this engine this horse power for this price is good. If it was german it would've probably costed 100k as base price.
Very entertaining...bring him back for more.
That would be my choice in color. beautifully done lexus
Very informative! Hot host by the way! Will be watching again.
Did he just read Lexus talking points? Did he also say its a good thing that you cant do a smoky burn out?
Lexus is on an absolute warpath. Would not expect the F line cars to surpass AMG, M, in the near future. I think many customers are getting tired of the lack of reliability of the other German brands.
At 1:04, the dude next to him with the beard was interesting. Just staring.
awesome video
Ohhh, i like Danny Bopp. ;)
Hah u really are a fan of the show :)
Hmmm.....troll???
Hah ! Nope
Danny Bopp You're in bro!
I would love this car and just take it on canyon roads btw awesome review
Love the RCF long time!!!!!!!!
out of many comments and opinions, here's mine...i like the car &i like the review.simple.
This review made me get the RCF
Oh man that V8 sounds glorious!!...oh wait..not once did we get to hear it?!? HELLO??

Thank you Lexus
Fld hawaii?...... Just thought I'd throw u guys ur next idear. Great job fld la!

Good review but I agree with some of the comments below: some revs to make us hear the motor would be greatly appreciated.
What a fantastic looking car!

FLD in LA!?!?!?!? Sign me up!!!
The review was good, but it should showcase some shots of the car moving and driving in action. Especially a shot to show the rear spoiler activating.
Wow, great looking sports car
Great job Danny and crew. I don't like that this car has an expert mode. All this will do is temp the driver to take risks. Please keep the electronic safety features on, the life you save could be mine.

Great job guys
Love the detailed review!
Best channel EVER!!!
Excellent review. Thx
Loved the review, but if they can splurge on a 60 fps camera it would be nice.
and to Danny Bopp everyone who watched this video and took the time to leave a comment wishes they had your job so keep up the good work dude lol.
Ha! Thanks, Quinton Byars! I'm very appreciative for the opportunity.
Nice review, but wish you had some reference to the 1/4 mile times and speed. This car has a ton of power, but I am wondering if with the relatively low 4.4 second 0-60 time, it isn't launching as well as the competition but maybe has some good mid-range grunt?
+1 Danny Bopp
Fantastic review
Good job Danny, i am loving that car even tho its wayyy of of my price range. Keep up the good work FLD.
It's... So... Beautiful...

Best RC-F review :)
Alternative to the LFA. I'll definitely buy this when I have the adequate finances..
when is the release date for the rc f? also does it stream music by bluetooth?
"The transmission enhances this feeling with a torque converter, giving this a true sports car feel." so my 4 door camry with its tofu suspension and whimpy 4 cylinder must be a japanese ferrari
great review, very detailed.
Looks pretty sick.
Awesome review dude.
Wish we couldve heard the engine, a lot of good info, just want some more driver feedback

I know! Sorry about that. There are actually 3 modes to the rear differential as well! There was a lot to cover on this car. Thanks for watching!
Great video
Please tell me that this comes in a manual with clutch
+Anjeluvadavis No. Pretty much no luxury car does. Also: it's still a Lexus and if there's anything that Lexus loves it's comfort.
I love this car.
You should've mentioned $62K as a starting price. Any production model RC - F will have a price tag of as least $70K.
It was great
wasnt so sure about this presenter (first video ive seen with him). but after that blooper type bit at the end he seems pretty chill. id do the same in that situation despite it accomplishing nothing :P looking forward to future episodes :)
Ha! Thanks, Eris6505. I was getting tired and frustrated at that point. Thanks for tuning in!
great new host!
I love the car how it looks, BEAUTIFUL
