Golden Apple Archipelago (islands from 1.6) OST is marvelous. Dev's bring melodies from that region sometimes, but whole experience from region at that time was just magical.
If you are interested in doing longer reactions, you can check out playthroughs of all the past events in Genshin! We can also point out which events are the most important from a lore perspective if that's something that grabs your interest, as some of the events are critical to the storyline of the game. Not all subversions had/have super important limited content, but many do. I know myself and plenty of others who love watching your content would both enjoy this, so if this piques your interest, I and other can point out to you when in your Genshin journey it would fit in to react to limited events timing wise (factoring release order of content in). Just a thought! Sorry if you have already addressed this and I missed it.
This sounds like a fantastic idea :D Thanks for suggesting it. I'll try to keep it in mind while I'm playing Genshin so I can make a video/stream dedicated to limited event stuff.
@@GrimGrooves2 Awesome! We can let you know what events fall in what places as you start going through your Genshin journey, so you don't need to worry about it too much. Also, there are some guides out there that show most quests + events in order for first playthroughs if that's more up your alley. Can't wait!
Love your reactions, what a trip through memory lane! If you're still playing Genshin next summer, we'll all be exploring the next limited event region together! :D A tip (no spoilers), you can access Dragonspine early on and it's a tougher than normal area for newbies - just note that you can travel to Liyue without the need to travel through Dragonspine, which you can come back later to explore once you're stronger. Lantern Rite is a yearly tradition in Genshin, and will take place around Chinese new year. Hope you'll experience it early next year! I believe every version will have a few minigames here and there. For example, currently in 5.0 we just had a bomberman Klee style minigame event. They always iterate on previous mini games, so I'm sure you'll see plenty come back in future versions. There's so much lore beyond what's presented in the main story quests. Make sure to delve into it (or watch lore videos on it)!
The amazing thing is that every year we have festivals like lantern rite but it’s always a new experience every year. It just lends to the world feeling so lived in and organic. So many memories after all these years 🥲🥲
I miss version 1.6 midsummer so much , so many beautiful song there , i love the soundtrack when you ride the boat and i just chilling doing nothing bit hear the music, and the day and the night have different music, i love both, even my tears just barely pouring while typing this. The songs already in official album, but i forgot the name of the song.... I love this game man 😭😭😭
I've thought for a long time, that the Version Trailers have the best music arrangements in all of genshin. They do such a great time combining environmental music, character themes, boss/ battle themes, etc and do so well at transitioning between them and keeping the mood and tension while showcasing what's on the screen. Version 3.0 and 4.0 are top notch, I have listened to the music of those trailers on their own many times.
While there will be some spoilers for things that happened prior to that teaser, but its good to know that these trailers do an excellent job at mismatching lines and scenes on screen. It does a great job at giving red herrings and keeping things just out of context enough that it doesn't spoil too much for the players about to play the upcoming version.
Generally speaking, the earlier teasers focus more on story since those get released in earlier in the major patch (again, generally speaking). major events (like lantern rite and windblume festival) tend to be around the middle/end of the major patches, and the minigames often tend to be restricted to the duration of those events. There is, of course, plenty to do outside exploring regardless.
Unfortunately, all those mini-games are only around during specific events and aren't permanent. The only permanent mini-game we have is a card battle game called Genius Invocation TCG. Regarding the Serenity Pot, it's your own little space where you can build many things and decorate as you want. There's even a big mansion in it where you can decorate the inside as you want.
yo you should react to some destiny 2 ost like jounrey or the first diciple full action, and if you havn't heard it before some of the version of one winged angel from final fantasy 7
Is there a particular reason you're waiting for October 4th to start playing? I only ask because the game's anniversary is September 28th, and they're giving away some nice presents for it.
Thanks for the heads up!. I may have to try and move things around and see if I can get in a stream or two around then but I'll be sure to let everyone know ahead of time if I do :D
