I love Clara's character, I love how she's so human and so unique from any other companion we've seen. And I love her and the Doctor's relationship. Its beautiful and myserious, but also important, just like with any other companion.

YES! I have this feeling too. But I think it would be actually good fo the story. I think someone will be betrayed and maybe die. But I don't know who. When Peter was asked to tell three words describing the series he said: "Trust no one!" The question is, who is "no one" :D
Yeah, I can't stop thinking about Clara. I think she'll be the one to... I think Danny Pink is the one they shouldn't trust. The series is not out yet but I keep thinking it's him. What If Danny gains their trust (or at least Clara's trust) and then he attacks them? That would be bad. Some people say Danny is the Master, that's another theory. I can't wait till the 23rd!! It's going to drive me insane!!! Clara is my favorite companion and Jenna is my favorite actress, I don't want her to die (even though some people do. I mean, you need to consider it's not her fault, Moffat doesn't work well with women, thus, she has had poor character development, but according to some people who were lucky and had the chance to go to the DWWT, Clara's got more character development in season 8).

They say she had poor development but she's benn part of the show just for half of series 7 and Day + Time of the Doctor which were episodes focused mainly on the Doctor. So there wasn't time for any development. But I think she was brilliant in the Christmas episode. I don't like Danny even if I haven't seen him yet. Maybe he will be great but I fear he will become the second Mickey or Rory. I think they should do at least one series just with the Doctor and Clara and without any romantic story. But I also fear it's the Doctor we shouldn't trust. I can't wait to watch it.
Well I've watched the 3 first episodes of S8 and I can tell you that something is definitely up. There's a new character who's very very weird and quite similar to the eye patched woman from S6 in my opinion.
Noticed it too. Frankly, whenever her theme comes up in the series, it warms my heart. :-) A nice and sensitive theme for a nice and sensitive lady. ;-) If Clara has at least one trump over most of the Doctor's companions, it's that she's not a cynic at heart and stubbornly believes there's always some way out and amount of hope left, no matter how small. I'm not surprised the Doctor befriended her so easily. He just needed someone willing to stand by his side, hear him out and speak openly with him. It's very uplifting to see him rediscovering something as simple as ordinary joy after she slowly starts dragging him out of his depression. Clara's flawed as anyone else, but she has a very understanding and tender humanity to her. One that would be valued in any good friendship.

Who ever conducted this, they were spot on. Even with out knowing the character the musical notes to me evoke a kind of childlike curiosity and playfulness and feisty imagery that the character has. Musically '' much like Clara '' this seems to also have sad overtones, as well, this really is a great piece of work. Then again all the themes are. Capt Jack's and the Intro are my faves.
***** All she did was get pregnant with River in the first place. There was no more development for a mother daughter relationship after that. Amy was used as a plot device.

This is going to sound weird, but this song makes me think of a beautiful, old music box, sitting alone in the dusty attic of an abandoned house. This song shows off the childlike curiosity and wistfulness that embodies Clara... yet with an air of sadness and loneliness, likely from the loss of her parents (Well, in one of her many lives, anyway =P)
This theme is so beautiful ! I remember when I watched the Snowmen for the first time and heard these piano notes behind Clara... "It's her theme ! It's so good !" Thanks dude for sharing this :)
This theme makes me feel happy and a bit curious. Like overcoming a huge problem, discovering the greatest mystery. Yet there's an underlying sadness you just can forget. To me, at least, this is like being overwhelmed by sadness, yet finding your little light at the end of the tunnel. Your safety. The thing that, no matter what may happen, will eventually bring you great happiness.
Every companion's theme, with the exception of Donna's, gives me all of these feelings.... They're beautiful and make me feel happy and inspired but so heartbreaking (especially Amy's) all at once!! I'm not as heartbroken listening to Clara's, but I can assure you when Clara is no longer a companion this will break my heart too!! UGH, the feels!!
I'm really impressed with this theme, it might be my favourite after I Am the Doctor. Every time it played in The Crimson Horror, it tied back beautifully to The Snowmen and made me feel a little nostalgic, if it's even possible to feel nostalgic about last Christmas!

It's a sad song. I didn't noticed about this theme until Doctor plays it with his guitar at the end, by then i realized it was Clara's all a long. I so missed Clara and the Doctor. Just hope that Jenna finished her Queen Victoria and come back to the Tardis this year.!!!

I took me a long time to warm up to Clara. She was very sweet and witty and full of life and she did have a lot of charm, but I just wasn't as fond of her as I was of the others. Then She jumped into the Doctor's Timeline and in that moment she stole my heart. She is a wondeful companion and her relationship with the Doctor is completely unique. It isn't love or romance, its just a big brother and his little sister off to see the stars. And I love that..
You can't yet. There will be a soundtrack eventually; later this year. We're long overdue a CD from Murray Gold with music from all of season 7, which freakishly includes two Christmas episodes, so almost 2 years worth of music! But it will be good and this theme will definitely be on it. For now we depend on brilliant people to upload it in this format, so we're not entirely starved! x
Clara is starting to become one of my favourite companions! She doesn't hide her feelings like the other companions! She is kind and caring and is a normal human being :)

Clara has that hard position of being the "new companion". It's almost like Martha again. The Ponds were there for so long, you got used to Matt's interaction with them. But I look at her as if she's a less demanding Donna. She doesn't love him like Rose loved him, but she respects him, and she also helped him come back from his depression after losing the Ponds/River.
I had hoped that clara was a regenerated version of Susan or Jenny (the doctors "daughter") in human form with a fob watch at first. But no, because I don't think she was adopted or anything...
I just have to throw myself in the middle of someone else's conversation (if you don't mind) to say i completely agree with you! She's definitely my favourite companion since Rose (except maybe Rory..oh, Rory..) because she reminds me of Rose so much! Like you said, she clever and pretty, but she's also caring and fierce and brave too, just like Rose. Especially in Hide, where she said the same thing as Rose when she saw the end of the world! Makes sense if you've heard the Clara/BadWolf theory!
Clara was unavoidable, think of her that way, someone who had to be the follow up to the Pond's. She was hope that there was a future after the master trio that was 11 and the Ponds. Clara as a character was impulsive and fast talking and quirky, what else does a companion need to be? The "climbing the staircase" scene is the most enchantingly shot section of footage since the reboot IMO, simply magical, pure fairytale.

Clara seems like a happy, magical character in Doctor Who. She is very different to Rose in almost every way.
