Hello! Im a 21 yr old from the U.P and i just found your channel! I don't have kids but I just find it super comforting watching moms on youtube (jamerril stewart aka large family table is one of my favorites!) I learn so much and love seeing how large families "work" coming from a smaller family, i find it interesting. Pasties were a staple growing up (pronounced past-eez! ☺) and i really like the idea of using your bits and bobs up. They were an easy convenient "finger food" for the miners. My mom used potato onion and ground beef, but like you said you can put anything in them. Im so excited to see someone know what they are, ive never heard them mentioned before and they really deserve the love! I'm excited to watch some more of your videos and see what you upload in the future. Your recipes look delicious and i love your energy! Much love from the U.P. ☺☺

Your blog brings back many wonderful memories of my home growing up. Your style is very much like my mom’s as she was the mom of 11 kids. Her meals were always tasty! Her pies were famous in our home but especially at church suppers! They disappeared first off the dessert table!
Now I am the mom of 6 and grandma of 18 and counting with great grandchildren coming! I don’t cook big meals as often as I used to but now I live vicariously through your blog! Lots of great family memories around food! Thanks Amy and family!

(I keep coming back to edit, lol ... Jadyn looks so cute dancing around while she’s in the kitchen, having fun ❤️)
Cincinnati has Skyline chili ... it’s a chain. They have it “7 ways” ... add spaghetti noodles, onions, cheese, green onions (?)... I forget what all ...
Here at our house, whenever I make chili, I make a huge batch and freeze different dishes and have spaghetti with chili on top (add cheese, sour cream, chives/green onions, etc, or whatever else you like on your chili.)

I loved today's video. It was so fun and I learned quite a few new recipes that I will be trying out. One thing you could do with the fry bread since it was done in the air fryer is make a simple syrup, drizzle it very lightly over the bread and add cinnamon sugar then whipped cream and strawberries. It's an odd little combo but so so yummy. One of my sons favorite. I will have to get an air fryer and try that out. Usually, he sprinkles the cinnamon on the bread after it comes out of the grease so it had something to stick to but I like your air fryer idea better.

Frybread 😍 meal idea...put pinto beans in a slow cooker and when it's done have it with some cheese and a batch of frybread. We had it last night and it was yummy. My dad adds chopped onions and el pato sauce in his. It's just frybread other tribes refer to it as bannock.

Packets of country gravy mix are fantastic in potato soup. You just mix it up according to the ingredients on the gravy mix packet. I use the water that I boil my potatoes in to make that. It thickens up your soup and has a great taste to it. Also don't forget to add some cheese to that soup. Little bacon sprinkled over the top never heard anything either. LOL

Making the breakfast sandwiches in the muffin pan is brilliant. How is the clean up with the bits of egg stuck on the pan?

I made the oatmeal cups last week. My kids loved them. Much healthier alternative to cereal.

We didn't always used to have a lot of money too. My mom worked some of the time, and stayed at home some of the time. We would have beans and franks (hot dogs cut up with baked beans), I still like having that with fake hot dog meat stuff. I also liked Denty Moore beef stew, and my mom would put a slice of bread at the bottom. Gold fish crackers with tomato soup and grilled cheese sandwiches, learned that from another youtuber.
