Hooked into a hybrid on Oologah last year trolling the flats. Got it to the boat but couldn't get it in. Bigger than my net and too heavy to lift. Eventually tossed the lure. Had to be at least 2 or 3 seasons older than any hybrid I had ever caught there. Easily double the size of normal big hybrids. When it hit I stopped the boat and started backing down because I thought it was snagged. Quick release was ok by me. Thanks for your videos!
@@StarkeyOutdoors well I live in Springfield Missouri so whenever I come down oologah is closer. Do they both have a great population of hybrids and sand bass?

There has to be some whoppers in there somewhere. I've only caught them up to 11lbs. There should be some pushing 20lbs.
Love seeing kids out fishing!
Thanks. I enjoy having kids fish as well.
I just went under contract on a house up in Chelsea, not too far from where your service pops up on Google Maps! Keep up the great content!

Thanks Bud.
Very Nice !!!
Thank you.
Is this lake better or Oologah for hybrids? From your experience.
Which ever one is working at the time. Oologah is closer for me. Skiatook is beautiful.

@@Rubo7yes. The limit is higher on Oologah.
Can you cast net shad on Skiatook lake
Ive seen it done but they are few and far between. Most of us guides bring our own shad.
I see you’re dealing with some poachers. They’re on every lake
