- The iPhone XR is proving to be a popular phone for users of older devices like the iPhone 6, iPhone 7, and iPhone 8. Many of these users are new to the gesture based, home button-less iPhone X style of phone. Therefore, I made a tips & tricks video covering some of my favorite iPhone XR features that should be helpful to newcomers of this Phone. Including tips for portrait mode, Face ID, Face ID appearances, attention aware features, and adding a virtual home button.

@Yusuke FuryRoad yes, exactly... i like my i5c! BUT my cousin had i6s or my friends has i7 or i8+,
so I had the opportunity to try another ipohne but I never owned... i was satisfied with my 5c which still works :).
and the best? I do not know, will see at least 3 years. i5c was said to be weak for children: D and it works for 4.5 years.
if you want to buy, you will prioritize what you use and what not.
a new device will come again a year :)
Gone mine like a month ago it’s AMAZING!! It works like a charm and the battery is the BEST!!
Yusuke FuryRoad I had the 6s for about a year and then it started getting glitchy and Siri would pop up randomly and my phone would shut off at 15 percent and it sucked

I used to be an android user, but I switched to IPhone XR and I have been using this device since February I am not disappointed at all 👍

Upgraded to a XR from a 6Plus that I had for almost 4 years. The 6Plus was still a great phone but I was running out of storage space and was getting tired of deleting apps, plus it was slowing down some. Loooooooove my XR! Highly recommend!😁❤️

GregsGadgets it took a little bit of getting used to. But I quickly adjusted. Although it was a massive screen size change.
Tony M my iPhone SE completely stopped working and wouldn’t turn on anymore. So I needed some new phone. And an Xr was a decent price for great specs. I would definitely consider it. I haven’t been disappointed by the Xr as of yet.
Awesome. I used to use an SE when it came out, and yeah you can adjust to different sizes pretty quickly.

It's a great phone. Even tho the screen isn't as good as the iphone xs and xs Max but it's very noticeable in most situations. I'm having my xr 4 days now and I'm already used to it.

Just bought the XR today, coming from a 5s. Huge difference, obviously. I don’t even notice anything wrong with the screen, probably due to being used to the LCD, so it looks brilliant to me. After half an hour my 5s felt weirdly tiny, haha. Can only recommend, absolutely love it!

This helped me a lot! I’m upgrading from a 7 to a XR. I’ve never tried using an X or XS myself so I wasn’t quite sure how no home button worked. This was so helpful! I use 3D Touch quite often so not having that will take some getting used to but I’ve lived without it before so it should be fine. Thanks for making this video!

One benefit of getting an XR instead of XS which I didn’t think about before. It’s a mix of serious and joking hehe.
You know how some people are thieves and might steal your phone? Well...look at many haters against the XR, and the XS is more expensive than the XR.
Therefore, it is a possibility having an XR will save you from violent people / robbers ;)

Haha well robberies of phones have been down overall with passcodes now pretty much being mandatory on iphones.
Thieves aren’t that wise, they would steal almost anything 😬
On a side note. I found something quite surprisingly about android. From what I read, Apparently Google makes only 20-30 billion dollars by allowing other companies to use its android system.
To be honest, I would have expected it to be much higher. Considering android really is the only proper operating software other than iOS.
And that other big companies can generate trillions of dollars combined. Along with the fact about 75% of people worldwide use an android based phone, I would have thought google made over 100 billion for its android software.
619 WWE FAN they actually get more money from harvesting user data and selling it for ads and marketers. It also has agreements with OEMs that require them to have certain google apps, like how Samsung has it’s own mail, browser apps whilst having google chrome, gmail, etc.

But what i don’t like is even though phone gets unlocked by face Id, u still have to slide up to get the main screen.
Yeah I think they do this so you can see the lock screen, but they should have an option to just take you to the home screen.

Is there more differences between the two or XR is good also?
I personally prefer the XR for the bigger screen, faster chip, and better camera. That is more important to me than OLED.

@@GregsGadgets thanks...I got a question...I currently have a Samsung Galaxy s8 plus but I want an iPhone xr but if i switch to the xr would I be upgrading or downgrading?
Hmm. I think it would mostly be an upgrade on almost everything except the display. You’re also moving from android to iOS... so it’s more about experience than the specs. But yeah the XR on paper has a better processor, better camera, and a really good battery life.

I just upgraded from a iPhone 8 Plus to the iPhone XR and this video was very helpful especially making the Face ID faster part. Overall I have been watching many other RUclips videos about this iPhone and they were all saying just about the same thing like this video but you a had a few extra stuff that added on to my knowledge of this iPhone.
Questioning if I should even bother updating to the Xr when I have a perfectly fine working 6s still.... I’ve had it for the past two years.. at first I had a problem but the problem was fixed. So I don’t know if I need a new phone just yet.... I do know I need a new case!! LMAO
I’ve had the same case for the past two years and it has been destroyed but no one really carried cool cases for the 6s anymore.. -__-
If the 6S is still working for you, I’d say to just wait for when you need or want to upgrade.
As for the cases, I like Apple’s leather ones.
GregsGadgets I know but the XR looks awesome and Apple has a deal going on now that could make the Xr cheaper for me if I upgrade... I don’t know lol I’ll find out. As you said it may just be better to keep this one until it reaches its problem phase & Honestly it has little problems but nothing as big as my older phones so it’s worth keeping it a while longer. 👍🏼
Well if you can get a deal, and you decide to get the XR, it’s a great phone. 👍
