That team would've won at least 3 to four rings!! I guarantee you if they would've stayed together!!

shaq was a dream come true . unstoppable they had put him on the free throw line a beast.
Just goes to show how good and how ridiculously strong and athletic Rodman was.
Literally one of the biggest reasons I started watching basketball was Shaq, loved his power and commitment to diving into the crowd ❤
All JJ heard was "Not LeBron" and got silent
JJ is 4 years younger than Jefferson so it's pretty stupid to suggest that Reddick has no idea what Jefferson is talking about from 1st hand observation.
Sitting there with this dumbfounded look on his face...

Since you are absent intellect, you go with your emotions and your simple brained approach to only view the world by what appears at the end of your own nose because in your simplistic mind there is no such thing as "There's a world out there that goes beyond what's at the end of your nose"
Only way you could guard him was to foul him every time he touched the 🏀
Make him shoot free throws lmao
@@simonramirez243 Yea but it puts your team into the red early and puts your bigs in foul trouble early which opens up the lane for Kobe. He ain't lying. Shaq was a real live monster. Imagine him having a work ethic to match his natural abilities?
Yeah he was lazy. That was his weakness. If he had the ethic of kobe and they had played together earlier to see that rub off on Shaq wouldve been amazing
Shaq literally provided jobs for backup centers during his era. Your starter needed 2-3 fouls, then there were a couple backups that racked up fouls in order to give the starters a break. Man was on another level.
All FACTS. The most you could do was send him to the free throw line if the game was still close.
1994-2004 Shaq with good team: 10 rings.
Shack was great. Don't get me wrong.
But they weren't beating.
That bulls team for the second three peat. You would pretty much have to have an all star team to do that.
Shaq with Lebron 10 rings
Shaq wasn't at that level in the mid 90s, maybe 99-2004/5.
Now Shaq didn't play on good teams? 😂 You definitely didn't live through that era, first off he was playing with penny hardaway, when he went and joined a Lakers roster that had 2 all star caliber guards in Nick van exel and Eddie Jones, then when he left the Lakers he went to a very good Miami team.
Even after he left Miami he joined the suns in the mid 2000s, a very good team, he joined the big 3 Celtics, he joined the cavs with LeBron. If anything he underachieved for the amount of great players and teams he played with.
Nah. Shaq had good teams his entire career even as a vet.
Shaq inside of 5ft no way. If you get him high on the post, that’s your best bet. Not a sure winner but better than 5ft
Yes the issue there is.. shaq rarely got the ball farther than 5ft lol so yea not really gonna work either way. Can’t guard shaq
Shaq worked hard to get great position when he wanted to score. He was smart enough to pass out and repost for better position.

I agree with everything he said.. but leaving Wilt out of “most dominant player” argument is a basketball crime.
Watch the clip again and actually listen to what Jefferson said...smh
@@mpound97 wow.. I 100% missed him mentioning Wilt😅🤡
There are multiple reasons why Hakeem is called the greatest defender ever and why the dpoy trophy is named after him.
The 95 finals is one example where he played phenomal defense against Shaq and if I’m choosing one player in NBA history to go against Shaq it’s easily Hakeem.
Edit: For those saying it wasn’t prime Shaq, he was second in MVP voting that year.
@Nova9286 one of the greatest interior defenders in NBA history in his absolute prime locked down Shaq who was five years away from his prime...holding Shaq to only 28 pts 12.5 reb 6.3 ast on 60 pct fg average.
@@therealbs2000 Although 1995 doesn’t count as his prime it was his second greatest season of his career where he led the league in scoring. He was also second in MVP voting. The Magic were 57-25 that year while the Rockets were 47-35 and they got swept. In game 1 overtime Hakeem held Shaq to a single point.
You can look at the numbers all you want but if you actually watched that finals series which you definitely haven’t you’ll know that Hakeem did absolutely lock down Shaq. Oh and that playoff series Hakeem beat Karl Malone (3rd in MVP voting) in 5, beat Barkley in 7 (6th in MVP voting), and David Robinson who was the MVP.
@Nova9286 it's the whole point bro...holding Shaq go 28 13 and 6 on 60 pct IS holding Shaq down
Shaq killed dream every single time they played 😂 yall kill me with this .. Shaq was 23 when he lost to dream and that loaded rockets team and Shaq still killed him … dream best game against shaq was 35 points and it took him 29 shots
@@TwotoneTony-xb4gd Shaq was 2nd in MVP voting that year. He was on the best team in the East with 57 wins. Hakeem was on the 47 wins rockets and were the 6 seed.
When it comes down to guarding Shaq, Hakeem was the best at it. He also had to guard MVP David Robinson, Karl Malone who was 3rd in MVP voting, and Prime Barkley. Hakeem swept the 1 seed Magic in the Finals and destroyed the 3 best teams in the West in one playoff.
Shaq is great but I will still pick Hakeem over him.
Kareem too

I tell people all the time Ben Wallace shut down kobe and them!!!! kobe couldnt score!!!
He is the most dominant player fasho. 💯 FACTS.
I agree with Jeffersons assessment...Wilt was what he was.. Shaq was what was said from what WE have ever seen.
Imagine Draymond Green Thinking He Have Near The Power Of Guarding Shaq, When He Was Finish Pumbiling You, Then U Have To Deal With Kobe, & The Rest Of The Crew,,, Come On The Warriors Really vs The 1998-2003 Lakers,,, Like Jefferson Said "What The Fudge Would U Do" 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Draymond is right about putting shaq in a pick and roll. Shaq's pick n roll defense is terrible and Steph and Klay would cook up. So as dominate as Shaq is offensively he would have a tough time being effective guarding the warriors perimeter oriented offense. Especially if he had to go against KD warriors.
All Shaq rould have to do is use one of his fouls to rock KD's world on an offensive play. KD would be deer in the headlights. Same with Draymon. Message recieved 🤣
Bro you niggas love talking about the KD warriors team when the best warriors team was without KD.... and bro you quick to forget how athletic and quick Shaq was in the early 2000 where he can guard the pick and roll a little but golden state will no choice but to change there gamelan to deal with Shaq cause there's another dominate player have to worry about in Kobe
Until Shaq put that elbow in kd or draymond sternum then it’s Steph shooting 3’s from the logo cause nobody wanna go near Shaq 😂
@michaelandrews1480 that's funny 😂 Depends on what rules you're using. Today's rules could have shaq ejected after 1 or 2 of those fouls. Even using early 2000s rules, Shaq is only doing that type of thing if someone is attacking the rim. KD, Steph, and Klay can all dominate from the outside and in the mid range where Shaq avoids and is unable to cover these players from 25 to 30 feet away from the rim. He can't move his feet enough to cover all 3 player's
He would foul out their entire front court in a hurry. Shaq demands the presence of real big men. He played mean. He played to dominate

When Shaq was fit and in shape the speed that Monster had was unbelievable not only speed but athleticism strength everything was off the charts for him when he got his body right
He's so right about Shaq changing the way they built rosters. For 2 or 3 yearsz every team that thought they had a chance to face Shaq in the playoffs, they were carrying at least 1 extra big man just for Hack-a-Shaq. How do you say how many points that's worth. How many wins is that worth? For those 60 and older (& a little younger) who absolutely lived hoops, 1000% agree. That's why it was completely disgusting hearing a certain someone and other knuckleheads parrot a certain person saying, "If Shaq would've just played harder..." Lemme not disturb the young worshippers who know nothing of Marfans and all those hoopers whose hearts just gave out. I'd tell Shaq (and I met him before) that I'm glad that he gave us just what he gave us because he's still with us and entertaining and helping us when others' hearts could no longer hold up...
As a kid I was lucky enough to practice with a couple timberwolves players in the practice court.

That Dudley dunk is the most physically imposing play in modern basketball history.
Prime Shaq is the most evergreen player in NBA history. His power, skillset, speed and size could dominate in any era. He’s the reason the Lakers could 3peat right after the Jordan era. Shaq’s biggest issues were his weight and his lack of focus on the game. If he could have cut some of the drama and Hollywood spotlight, he could have been the GOAT, but then I guess he wouldn’t have been the Shaq we all loved.
i like how shaq is in everyone’s top 5 but he still is underrated
This is why I was so excited when my Spurs eliminated the Lakers in 1999 and 2003. It really felt like David beating Goliath even though we had Robinson and Duncan.
That's how the dynasty Bulls rocked with 3 centers, we called it the 3 headed monster. They have 18 fouls between them all.
