- Crestliner gave Wired2fish a sneak peek at their new MX19 boat before its unveiling at the 2021 Bassmaster Classic in Texas. We were able to run and fish out of the boat for a few days and shot a quick walkthrough of the boat when we were done to let you get a better look at this new aluminum fishing boat inside and out.
BOAT SETUP
• BOAT - Crestliner MX 19: wired2.fish/MX19
• MOTOR - Mercury Pro XS 200hp: wired2.fish/MercuryProXS
• SHALLOW WATER ANCHORS - Power-Pole Blades: wired2.fish/PowerPoleBlade-BT
The boat features huge casting decks, tons of storage space, a fiberglass console with toggle switches and room to mount any size electronics you might want on your boat. This boat came equipped with a Mercury 200 4-stroke and Power Pole Blades as well as a Lowrance Ghost trolling motor and graphs.
The boat only drafts in a few inches of water, tows great behind a tow vehicle and had a lot of pep while running around. It fished more like a big boat even though it was only 19-feet in length.

Thanks for the video! I won this boat and can’t wait to see it in person. I will update with reviews once I get to run and fish out of it.
I have a 2018 Crestliner v-hull. And I see they STILL haven't put locks on the back compartments. That's just lazy. Also, look at the seal when he opens up the middle console. It doesn't even connect, so water will manage to run into the compartment when it rains. I had that issue on my boat, but it was also like that on all the compartments/lockers. So any time it rains, water would get inside them. Horrible. Crestliner really has to work on their quality control. I've had so many issue with my boat. And why in the world do companies decide to put rod lockers in the middle? When I have 15+ rods out on the deck, they're now on top of the tackle storage because we're forced to put the tackle in the side storage. That makes it a huge pain when you need to get to your tackle. Put the rod locker on the left side and be done with it.
They make some great looking boats so simple so well laid out.
Good stuff Jason! 👊🏼💯🇺🇸
Thanks for the walkthrough my friend!
2:40 someone cracks a beer...makes the boat tutorial official!
Cool boat
I was looking into getting into an aluminum bass boat until i saw on bass boat central how all these boats have a common problem which is the welds crack in the transom and center main gutter high pressure areas from the hulls flexing. Crestliners and Rangers having lots of problems it seems.
Factory re-welds but they crack again and the boat slowly takes on water. Lots of guys missing on months of fishing due to having to send the boats back to the factories in order to be repaired.
Guess ill stick with glass.
Check into GatorTrax Strike series...
Hi Wired2Fish - were you compensated / paid to make this video, either directly or through free products or discounts on products? I don't see it stated if so.
Why not make it proportionally smaller than the MX 21? Looks like the rear casting deck is the same as the 21 and the front was just shortened. The rear casting deck almost looks larger than the front.
Love my Crestliner Huge Air craft carrier ✈️ DECK 10 rods on deck easy , she puts the big trophy bass in the boat no problem 👍🏻🦍
If this offered
a jump seat configuration I'd buy it tomorrow
I can’t believe any company would still design a boat with a rod locker down the middle
I prefer it 🤷♂️ it's all in what you become accustomed to
Is The Flooring And Cabinets Aluminum Framing/Doors?
How fast will it run?
Nice but I’ll keep my Xpress
No ice chest
I live in fort lauderdale. Do you know the nearest Crestliner dealership near me
I bought my crestliner at power source marine just outside of Tampa, there aren’t many dealers in Florida
The front looks so stubby from the top view.
approx price?im guessing 50k
Well per their website the MX21 starts at $40K.. so the MX19 is probably $34-36K??
no ice chest.
So for anyone looking for a boat, the farther aft the console of a boat is the better, or should I say; "the less beating you will take" in rough water because from a physics standpoint you aren't coming up as far aft as you are towards the bow. This boat is not designed well IMO for rough ride. The large bilge area and large livewells sacrifice rough water ride. Having the console more towards the front of the boat does give you better hole-shot but that's usually that is not an issue with an aluminum boat and it will cost you top end speed. Crestliner does make a better quality boat than boats like Tracker (Crestliner used to make the Ranger aluminum line of boats) I am speaking more to poor design than poor quality.
No locking compartments? Only downfall...
And still terrible in the wind.
