DANNY IS THE MAN, IF HE STAYS CLUBS WILL BE VERY WORRIED PLAYING HIS TEAM, HE CAN GO ALL THE WAY, I THINK WEDNESDAY WILL BE GREAT UNDER THIS GERMAN LEADER.
the whole story of sheffield wednesday currently is quite astonishing. Going back to league one play-offs where they lost 4-0 and came back 5-1, and now staying up in this season. What??
@owenleaper21 It definitely is. We Wednesday fans can't just have comfortable success. It's got to be heart-wrenching and stressful until the very last.
Danny was actually a real gamble for the club. He’d worked as an assistant at the highest level with some brilliant managers but no one knew if he’d be able to do it on his own. But he’s been a revelation. His greatest skills are making the most of what he has in the squad and getting the players to work as a cohesive unit. We all know he’ll get snapped up by a richer club at some point but I hope he stays with us for another year or two.
I started working for the club in December, and from the first game a saw, i was baffled as to why they were in a relegation battle. They looked so much better than that. They won, SWFC 2-1 QPR. A chant to a Boney M song too, great stuff.
A very accurate and concise evaluation of the players and the club, we are not secure in the Championship just yet but we are confident we can do it, if we can then Wednesday as a club under Danny Rohl and his backroom staff will give us a firm footing to progress. For the first time in years Wednesday fans have hope for the future. Thank you for the great video.
Some good research; thank you for it. We're not quite there yet, though. Just a note on the spelling if I may...Roehl 🏴 or Röhl 🇩🇪 if you have access to an umlaut key. Thanks and best wishes. 🦉
Enjoyed the video -We aren't over the line as yet but irrespective of what Division we will be in Danny has done a fantastic job for the Owls considering our position in October which was a desperate situation - the fans love him and the players have bought into his style of play. The big question is whether the chairman supports his plans and backs him in the summer. If he does then there is every chance that Wednesday will do well and could ultimately get promoted to the promised land of the Premier League. If the Chairman doesn't back him he needs to sell the club to someone who will back him as we have a very very talented manager on our hands who will go on to be successful whichever club is he with.
Respect for doing the research into the stats and such, but I think you're a bit harsh on the "is it exciting to watch?"...cus it absolutely is, from the tough tackling from Vaulks and Bannan, to the fantastic passes from Bannan and Johnson, to the fast breaks and dribbles from Musaba, Gassama and Valentin. We have a little bit of everything and it's great to see. Are we a finished product? No, certainly not, but if we can stay up and Danny gets a full transfer window with backing, I reckon we can be quite a force to be reckoned with next season!
If ever there’s been a lesson in never giving up in the face of adversity and against all the odds and public opinion, it’s Wednesday over the last two seasons.
Chansiri out is still very much the feeling amongst supporters, if Danny leaves or we get another transfer window where we do shite last minute business again he will be under massive pressure again next season
Danny’s been magnificent but we’re not over the line yet. If we don’t stay up it won’t be because we lost the last game of the season, it’ll be because we hardly won any of the first 10 - before Danny arrived…
You got that right bud...We are staying up if Danny gets the right signings in over the summer we will be pushing for promotion let's do an Ipswich on it 👍🏻
Apologies if I misunderstood but some of the stats are skewed by the first 13 games with Munoz. He was an absolute disaster. It's not unnoticed that we seem to do better when Chansiri stays quiet and "takes a back seat." It was the same last season with Darren Moore. Once Chansiri starts making press statements he destroys all positivity around the club.
When you look at the season stats last year it’s easy to say we were good under Moore. However if you went to a single game you would be just as confused as I am to how we got that many points. Darren Moore is a lovely bloke but he’s not a good manager imo. Look what he’s done with Huddersfield this year too
@@louiequinn7665 agreed. Top bloke who hit a bit of a winning formula with Wednesday. But struggled since with Huddersfield and Port Vale who both ended up being relegated this season. (I'm assuming Huddersfield don't win by a 12 goal margin at the weekend.)
@@matthewsprague7674 You have to remember, he had a bit of time to get the players he wanted with us at Wednesday, a full pre-season and transfer window (we got to playoffs first time in L1), then another 2 transfer windows (which then got us 96 points and promotion through the playoffs). He hasn't had that time at Huddersfield or Port Vale, give him time and he may be able to produce results again, clearly he is not a short term fix manager, but may work far better with a long term project.
Hope Sheffield Wedensday make it to the Premier League again soon under him.

Could only be Wednesday UTO 🔵⚪️🦉
And scored in the 122nd minute of the playoff final
That's the Wednesday way

enjoyed the video shout out to chris powell his assistant with loads of championship experiance hes also key to this
Danny Röhl is destined to win trophies in his coaching career, I just hope he stays with Wednesday for at least another season.

Appreciate the kind words! Watching the season turn around for you has been brilliant!
I hope Danny Rohl becomes Wednesday's Alf Ramsey!
Things weren't shake at the start. They were very stable and consistent...
Consistently diabolical

Was more of a look at how things changed when Röhl stepped in and how just having someone even half decent changed it all! Munoz was dreadful.

big danny rohl
Mission not complete yet
Danny rohl wants to play a high pressing game but knows he hasn’t got the players yet to do it
Might be the next sunderland manager
Nope
You might just see something special with Danny's choice of players. I am thinking the prem might be a real possibility under this guy.
