Nice compilation of this memorable (or even miraculous) season. I'm so delighted SWFC achieved the impossible and stayed up as the Owls are one of the English clubs I really have a soft spot for. Great montage.Darren gone at the start of the season was a huge mental stumbling block and it showed,we needed someone to come in and bring the mentality back round to the boys to make them remember they are good enough to compete in this league.Munoz wasn't capable,it took Rohl to use clinical thinking and to suss out a system that worked with the players we had,and to bring in one or two.He did it pretty damn quick.The Championship is a bearpit,if you are that far adrift at the bottom at that stage then you are absolutely odds on to go down.He didnt believe that.And he got the players to believe,and we went along with that as fans too.From an achievement point of view ,the way Ipswich for example have shot up to the Prem the way they have is fantastic and well done to them,but do not underestimate what the Owls have pulled off here.We were gone.And now we live to fight again.Never give up.
Tell me with a straight face that you went to plenty of games with Moore in charge and that he’s a good manager. Lovely bloke but absolutely no idea how we got 96 points or whatever it was because the football we played under him was dogshite. If you think it was good then your head needs a wobble

I was at Hillsborough last season to experience the Peterborough game ( been a season ticket holder for about 12 years), and never felt so emotional as I did then! Got my first ever trip to Wembley, brilliant time - and now, this!! Amazing times 💙🆒💙Thank you for your video, I really enjoyed going through it all again x
Thank you Danny Rohl for saving my club after the worst start ever in history. We gave everyone a massive head start with just 2 points from 30 including a team that were in 6th place at the time before they sacked their manager only to finish behind us. A big name means nothing, talent means everything.
I'm still surprised how badly Xisco did at Sheffield Wednesday but even more surprised about the club hiring a manager like Danny Röhl who's been a breath of fresh air to not only his club but also English football.
Completely agreed, when I saw Xisco had a promotion under his belt I’d expect him to at least win a few games but the fact he only got 2 points in 10 matches is crazy. And the fact Danny came in after how bad of a start we had and completely changed the club around, while it was only his first full managerial job, he’s so good! Glad we’ve extended his contract till 2027!
Mate he’s hands down the best manager we’ve had since cavahal probably better in my opinion I’m really glad he’s signed a 3 year deal and credit is due to all our coaching staff and don’t get me started with the recruitment team what they’ve done this window is class it’s as though they just couldn’t be bothered with and other manager it seems to me Danny has the upper hand or chansiri has had some sort of wake up call because he seems to be fully backing Danny he’s even put his hand in his pocket for the training ground all re done though the break and he is also having a gym and that out in as well that may be not till after new year tho they’ve said but it seem like things are finally starting to look up 👌👌👌
Glad to see Wednesday stay up as an Ipswich fan. We both had our struggles in League One and were far too big for it. How Rohl managed to keep up this squad who looked absolutely finished even in September is amazing. You’re lucky to have him! Good luck next season 🦉🤝🚜💙🤍

i just moved back to sheff last month after nearly 14 years in leeds (don't ask) and we now live across from the training ground on middlewood road. i left in may 2010, funnily enough it was the day we got relegated to league 1. not because of that haha it was a coincidence, anyway we lived on wadsley lane at that point and passing all the dejected fans in the car affected me a lot and weirdly i actually became more of a fan after i moved away. i seriously thought there'd be some weird irony and we'd go down to league 1 again when i came back, but i was in the italian cafe place in hillsborough when i heard we'd gone 3-0 up against the baggies, and the rest is history. i was really gutted about darren leaving after the *greatest comeback ever* against peterborough, but danny seems to have reignited the team spirit and never-say-die attitude from that era and it's great to see. roll on next season then, looking forward to the sheffield derbys :D

Still can't believe that all four clubs below us won on the last day...so glad we turned up at Sunderland. Form table for the 2nd half of the season would have us in the playoffs, would be so great if we can match that form next season
Only team that didn’t win below us was Huddersfield but yeah it was huge that we won against Sunderland or we would’ve gone down! I can’t wait to see who we sign and if we can finish in playoffs next season

@@TodezYT I'm a Stoke City fan and we have very rich owners, unfortunately FFP controls what we can spend. I think this is wrong. They own the club, we should be able to spend what we want. I hope they find Wednesday to the max, but after this season the last thing you would want is a point deduction. I honestly think your manager is very capable anyway. You also have the Sheffield Derby next year. Personally I don't think that's a good thing, because they can go either way regardless of league position

Agreed pal, chansiri needs to do all he can to keep rohl and get in the players he wants. Chansiri said at the start of the season that he wanted us to push for playoffs in our first season back but then hired an awful manager and gave him peanuts to spend on players. Agreed pal, chansiri needs to do all he can to keep rohl and get in the players he wants. Chansiri said at the start of the season that he wanted us to push for playoffs in our first season back but then hired an awful manager and gave him peanuts to spend on players. I'm a Man United fan, and I've a soft spot for Wednesday. I'm glad that they stayed up and hopefully one day they'll be back in the Premier League because I'd would love to see Wednesday back in the Premier League!
