That commentary for the 4th goal, sends me cold every time I hear it. "Floats it to Aden Flint!!!! They've done it!" Goosebumps, hair stands up on my arms, the lot!
I saw my first game late 1950s with dad. Fair to say there haven't been many special moments since but for drama, passion, & desire, this is probably the best I've witnessed.
WoW. Quite simply WoW. I have been watching footie since 1968 and that must be one of the best matches I have seen. PROPER football and PROPER supporters so a PROPER ATMOSPHERE. Fantastic!
What is "Proper" ? The highlights does not mean there was that for the entire 120 minutes. Football is football, supporters are supporters - personally, the re-rise if the England flag many supporters at clubs have, is rather silly - why not just club colours. It is a bit embarrassing. Other European clubs don't do that so much

A great bicycle kick by a home player and its great save by the goalkeeper. The fourth goal coming right at the end, and wild celebrations after that. The look of shock on the visitor manager's face after it became 3-0. Visitors going ahead on aggregate again in extra time but home side equalising again. And before the equaliser, referee missing a foul which should have resulted in a red card for the Wednesday player. And then penalties and the wild celebrations afterwards. What a match!
Brought back some of the amazing glory days Wednesday had back in the 90s never thought I'd see those again. Yeah its only league one and we still have to beat Barnsley but what a result 😊

As a Blade obviously I am partial, but delighted for Darren Moore (his management career was possibly on the line), regardless of who he manages. Seriously. Bravo, but it’ll mean little to nothing unless it’s complemented by a Wembley win. Great for the city of Sheffield, IF Wednesday get back into the championship. Keeping the momentum going shouldn’t be beyond them.
Fair play for all the Wednesday fans to pay for a ticket and show up to a game when you're losing 4-0 on aggregate. Each and every single one of them deserve to get a free ticket to Wembley, because they believed when many neutrals (including me) didn't give them a chance. Well done, Sheffield Wednesday.
I bought my ticket before the Peterborough game and thought about selling glad I didn’t, best atmosphere I’ve ever experienced, proud supporter of this club, and if you’re a true fan you’ll always stay till the end cause there’s always a late goal 😅😅🔵⚪️🔵🔵🦉🦉
@Robbie I actually visited Sheffield in July of 2021 and I was surprised of how big their stadium was for a club that was in League 1 and I just started supporting them after seeing how big their fans are into the matches
Sometimes, a football game can take you through a whole range of extreme emotions, that nothing else can come close to replicating. This was one of those games. Not just the comeback, but to equalise after P'boro scored in et. That took guts. Reminded me of us vs Barca. I was there that night & will never forget that game. Neither will anyone who was in Hillsborough for this one. Sheff Wed fully deserved this & they might even be playing Everton next season...😁
Sheffield Wednesday deserved that. Not only were they above everybody else (along Plymouth and Ipswich) but the fight and belief since minute one of this game . Not only the players but Owl's amazing supporters ! Congratulations !

Well done Wednesday.....from a SkyBlue supporter. Brilliant display of passion, aggression and skill. That's how the game should be played. All this sideways tippy-tappy these days is killing the game as a spectacle. So entertaining !!
I'm glad Old Taggart son got his just rewards thinking Peterborough had won, I watched the Newcastle game and then I put Wednesday on, I thought it was a Leg pull seeing Wednesday 4-0 up, and I watched Extra time and Penalties and I'm delighted Wednesday have gone to play off final and hopefully Wednesday will win it
Wednesday's crowd was literally the 12th man ..the team seemed to be feeding of them... Wednesday haven't played like that all season... tactically it must have been a surprise for Peterborough because Wednesday haven't played that direct or with that pace all season
Playing 120 minutes like it was all added on time, it was a true feat of conditioning. Peterborough threw it away. That's on darren ferguson, the mentality was all wrong. Whether he wanted to be the tactic or not, playing for time from the kickoff is what made it possible for Wednesday's desire to win the game.
I can’t get also how many people goes to watch their team even if is the 3rd league, in Italy there are not much people going to the stadium if is not serie a or serie b

Best fans in England proud to be an owl
You could say,what a hoot.
Newcastle fan here, for me the greatest EVER comeback has to be Liverpool v AC Milan in the champions league then Newcastle v Arsenal but I’m putting sheff weds game 3rd I was keeping an eye on the game and probably would have watched it if we weren’t playing such an important game, and everyone loves a comeback because of your comeback I will be rooting for yous hopefully you lot will get the promotion Good luck in the final and gotta say aren’t the playoffs just amazing there’s always a game or 2 what is a bit special.
Thanks pal & it was a great game against your club in the cup this season, hope the toon army clinch 3rd place 👍

gotta love Newcastle fans.Even when we beat em they were class.Champions league next season nailed on
@@davidmark3788 cheers mate we’re just happy we’re showing a bit of ambition and we got so lucky getting Eddie Howe, which by most supporters admission wasn’t our first choice but he seems to know what the fans want and has been amazing, I remember when yous were in the prem and had some fantastic players like carbone and Di Canio 2 players I would have loved at Newcastle at the time you never know get promoted and it could be the start of good times for yous again.
One of the best playoff games in any of the EFL leagues it will go down in the history books
