I dont deny Mourinho has been a tremendous manager but there is a belief now and stats back it up, that his best days are now in long gone.
I don't think clubs looking at building something for the future should be looking at these types of appointments tbh.
Trouble with Jose most places he goes he ends up leaving a bit of a trainwreck behind and causing a storm.

Has to be Carsley. Didn’t think much of him as a player, but he did put a shift in. He seems to have a good footballing brain, apparently playing expansive attacking football, countered by his own personal experience of defensive midfield duties as a player. Balanced. Also proven by his history of recent managerial positions. He obviously comes with the added bonus of having a good working relationship with young English talent.
All of the revered managers who have won a lot of trophies did so because of world class players and unlimited budgets before ffp. I would take Jose over dyche any day, but he certainly wouldn’t guarantee trophies.

Having Sean Dyche at BMD would be like having Mr Bean drive your Ferrari. He was the right man at the time to keep the club up but he only knows survival football. He plays for draws and hopes to nick a win, which is why Everton have the 2nd lowest goal tally in the PL (only Southampton who are rooted to the bottom of the league have scored less).
Mourinho's best days are behind him and Everton need a young manager on the way up rather than one on the way down.

Dyche had the hardest job in football no Money had to sell players , points deduction’s one arm tied behind his back . He deserves a crack at with money . For me he stays saved us twice from

When Southampton have played you twice and you've set up to sit deep and cling on for dear life in your own half then the money argument loses all credibility. Dyche is getting a free pass because of his reputation. He'd be like Cooper at Forest even if 250 million was spent. His style of play wouldn't change regardless as it's all he knows. So negative it's unreal.

Hardly positive, they admit they are in football for profit which shows how bad of an owner they are. The last owner I heard say they wanted profit from football was Mike Ashley.
Roma fans were promised everything by these owners and have been given nothing! Absolutely zilch. Everton will still be battling relegation in 5-10 years time, the only difference is, I genuinley see them going down. I can’t name a team in the league apart from Southampton that’s worse than Everton.

The only way for them to make money from Everton is by first providing financial stability, improving and investing in the squad, improving their commercial revenue and building the squad as a global brand. These are all positive things for the fans. Not that hard to grasp.

Financial fair play has ruined football. Everton should now be allowed to spend whatever they want! It’s their money, if the owners want to put up £300m for transfers for example LET THEM.
Same goes for Newcastle, all that money they have and they can’t even use it.
It’s ridiculous because all this does is protect the big boys in the league so they aren’t ever threatened. If this FFP happened back in 2008, Man City wouldn’t have achieved 90% of the trophies they have.
It stops “smaller” clubs from ever progressing and competing.
