      No, I think the end game for all clubs is to win titles otherwise what's the point. A club with the potential of Everton should always aim for that.
      It seems the mentality these days from many is that only certain clubs can ever consistently challenge for the league and that is an issue created by the rules. Hopefully when a regulator comes in the rules can change so that all clubs have the ability to challenge.

    An improvement sure but their record in Roma is ...mixed... to say the least. If they couldn't deliver success in Italy how are they going to do it in England with a club that has a fraction of the resources required to make them a club to consistently compete with the top 6?
    Also are they going to wipe the debt or is the new stadium just going to service the debt rather than enhance the first team budget like the fans seem to think is going to happen?

      @sweetmash477 it's about money mate. When six clubs are allowed to spend more than the rest based on previous success and already have the advantage of being more of a 'pull'. It makes it impossible.
      Yeah you can get the odd season where you might nick a champions league place. But any sustained success under this format of PSR? forget it
      If man utd and the like can always spend double what for example Newcastle or villa spend then the law of averages suggests they will always get above them and the other clubs won't be able to sustainably stay above clubs like that.

  • @DannyOConnor1991
    @DannyOConnor1991 12 минут назад

    Everton are a club that should be competing for league titles and living up to their motto - Nil Satis Nisi Optimum. Only Utd, Liverpool, Arsenal and City* have more titles. But it will take time and very smart business to get them there from where they are currently.
    Also, will PSR rules prevent them doing anything? Similar to Aston Villa and Newcastle, etc. Most clubs hit the financial glass ceiling. But hopefully all these clubs can compete and make the league far more interesting that it has been for the past decade. And certainly a wider distribution of honours for the other domestic trophies too.
