Looks fun, but maybe it could be optimized with spirits, especially if there are any that increase air mobility.
This and also instead of bumpers they put small plataforms with ledges so the characters can also recover their tools like bouncing fish of flip kick plus its add some thinking becouse in ultimate you only can grab the ledge 3 times so it wouldn't be ilimated
@@maps2853 You can only thether recovery 3 times, grabbing the ledge normally and with normal recoverys is allowed 6 times before touching the ground
this is a good idea
@@maps2853 however you can also just add canons because for some reason they count as touching the ground so certain recoveries like Mac side b and double jumps get refreshed

Yo, Dark Pit would be sick with this stage. strong arrows, good back air, armored charge kill move, reflector, and you can b reverse the reflector to turn around

I think this kind of battle stage is very unique and fun to experiment. I am glad that Gyan came up with this concept and forwarded it to the Beefy Smash Doods for it to be featured. I will definitely be downloading this stage!

I made into a reality a while back. Got my own stage like this, I should probably add Bumpers (Like in this) to save you if you're stuck in free-fall.
You should put like a tiny little block right below the bumpers with a ledge only good to hang on too , for recovery...

This kind of gamemode would be really fun in a mainline Smash episode! Imagine just adjustments like aerials not making you free fall, so that UpB can let you use the upper layer at your advantage too, the bottom wind pushing you a bit stronger upwards, and the same kind of cage as in Homerun Smash but with all 4 walls! :D (Oh and most importantly, autoturning to face the opponent, or using the jump button for that matter to manually turn around)

I just did pika forward aerial but my stage had lava instead of bumpers
I also have a floating stage like this and the best characters are villager’s forward air and snakes floating grenades
I (kinda) made this with only without wind coming from above and canons instead of bumpers. I played with ai due to a lack of friends but they kept floating into the blast zone. I added huge lava walls on either side and they keep going into it

They don’t work
They either just keep trying to die (in this case they can't because of the bumper), or they just float there.
You guys should make a tier list on which fighter does the best on this stage
I made this exact concept a year ago along with another map inspired by the terry stage before he was announced
Min Min makes for a surprisingly interesting spacing focused neutral game.
Also cFive should have picked Little Mac after going up 2-0 as a flex.
Honestly, it's practically playing ARMS without jump.
lol I made this type of stage a while ago and no one really seemed to like it.
I thought it was cool because you have to use aerial attacks.

I made a stage like this where if you are knocked high enough there is lava that spikes you and at the bottom there is lava so you can only die below from spikes or just knock people off the side

Yep. Works out of a down tilt at higher percents when up smash wouldn’t connect.

You might want to give Roof Rage a try, it's a Smash Bros like with diagonales inputs as well, and you can use each move once before touching the ground again so you can do long aerial fights

I made a similar stage a while back my favorite gimmick is(I had no bumpers) to do jokers aerial guns with up input to spin and then hold left or right and it just carried people into the blast zone or just does like 30 percent. With arsene it’s even funnier.

I’m surprised no one thought of byleth bc strong & far reaching ariels. & plant would be great for side b bumper camping.
