- A Smash Ultiumate mod with all knockback being reversed. Spikes knock you up, forward smashes knock you back, etc. Really fun to play!

This mod looks so much fun but also kinda hurts my head.
I love this mod!! xD I was thinking for the next idea, it could be an attack randomizer. "A" could be either a "normal" attack, a special attack or a grab, it's all RNG; same with the B button (and maybe Z too).
That sounds awful and I want this to be a thing now.
That would destroy recoveries.

I love how this mod's like, character viability is super similar to the base game, like Mac is bad and Pikachu is good, but then characters with weird air quirks like DK's cargo throw and Falco's air juggling gameplan are just COMPLETELY broken in completely opposite ways
I'd love to see Dedede in this. The absolute shenanigans from gordo, uair and the up-b spike

Really like the visual mods to make pikachu and probably pichus electricity yellow like every other piece of Pokémon media as well as Lucas’ psy energy pink/purple

Imo only horizontal reverse knock back might be better so everything isnt a spike but this was still fun to watch

Bro you guys need to relax. VyQ needs to chill with the sweatiness and c5 needs to relax and just have fun with it because he's making a lot of mistakes that people make while under pressure. The constant 0-3 that's happening is not fun to play or watch by anyone other than VyQ. That's just my 2 cents.

Seeing Cargo Throw absolutely wreck c5 makes me wonder if Kirby and D3's inhales are also broken since they normally pop the opponent up. Maybe the knockback isn't as strong though...
Alpharad and StylesX2 messed around with this mod a bit. Inhale basically becomes an Exhale instead so it doesn’t even work lmao (although maybe you can windbox gimp people?)

@@vegetarblessb uh? they might not be since it technically doesn't have any knockback, i haven't seen it so i wouldn't know... but windboxes have no knockback so they might not be affected

vyq's laugh is one of the best things ever. So genuine sounding and is a laugh that makes you laugh

i really wonder how the final spark works because it never works with these type of mods. it can't be that it pre calcs where you're going because that should include in the calcs the reversed knock back.

Dude I LOVE these custom mods for Smash so much.
If knockback was reversed, then my down aerial spikes will launch the opponent upward.
This was super fun to watch!
Jank horizontal angles aside, this whole video really serves as a perfect visual representation as to why in gravity based platform fighters like smash most moves send you up rather than down lol.
(And also why the ones that DO send you down always have to have some combination of slow startup/small hitbox/large sourspot and/or few active frames.
A falcon upair that spikes might sound fun as an idea but put that move in to the game properly, and i think most people would quickly learn why we dont have spammable frame 4 spikes with sweeping hitboxes.)

Steve might actually be a monster in this game mode. Down tilt ledge recoveries once = ggs. Retreating jab self combos until it breaks at least, up smash combos into itself, dair actually SPIKING. Empty minecart actually kills offstage as if it were still a command grab.
I've once proposed the idea of having reverse knockback as it is really fun adapting to something so cursed. Now I wanna propose another idea: Unknown Smash
Mod the game so that YOU do not know who you are playing as, they would be displayed as just a blob of circle in the air. Then you have to fight without knowing which character you got, but of course any visual indication of the character should be removed, like block the character pic in the bottom, any noises made by said character or any projectiles(projectiles would all be blobs of white regardless of effects) so that it will take that to identify which character you got. but or course, to make it nastier, you pick the game mode where different characters are substituted by your stocks(I forgor what the game mode is called but it's the one where you play as a different character each stock). I got nastier ideas but I doubt it will be implemented.
I'd love to see an invitational tournament with pro players! It'd be even funnier if they don't even know the game is modded like this!

1:12 What are you talking about? You can tech a spike. Unfortunately not a lot of people do it.
Spikes onstage become untechable very early.

Soaring Blade or Aether would probably make for disgusting spikes in this one.

IDEAS: Mix mods with mods or mix mods with mini games like volleyball, tag, or the Poké games,
C5 chooses the worst characters for this. Why Fox or Pikachu? They're jugglers. They can't do their main thing.
I hope Beefy Smash doods goes into detail over the new Slingshot tech, like the good old days of Sm4sh and it's perfect pivots and Extended Dash dancing

Lucas was a really smart pick due to his down smash 2 framing. It sends up nut then it would just demolish a stock.

I've seen a mod where the knockback is random. I know the wii u version has it but I dont know if the ultimate version does
