Good Luck Yuenny. Enjoy the day. Can't wait to see and hear all about it. I know you have had set backs during training, but that is relatively normal in this sport. Remember the good runs. Don't worry about anything else. You are strong and capable. You've got this. 👍

Thank you for always being so supportive! I will do my best. The weather is looking good, but maybe a bit too good for running up a mountain 😄 I will document my journey to the top and hope I can make it before the cut-off.

New challenge and a new adventure! Wish you the best of luck with it =D Hope the injuries have disappeared and the weather is sunny and not too warm.

My injuries are a lot better, thank you. Good enough to run a bit further than I have been recently. I think the weather might be quite warm on Saturday 😬 Hopefully not too bad though. Hope you're enjoying the sunshine!

Wow, those are some beautiful places to go running!
The wild garlic has gone crazy where i live. I was running through a nearby wood the other day and it was totally carpeting the ground for miles. The smell was so strong!
Good luck on Snowdonia! I'm sure you will do great.

Thank you. It was so hard but I did it 😊 I don't recommend doing the UTS any distance with no training. My quads aren't working today. The climb was really hard but the descent in some ways was even harder 😬 I love the smell of wild garlic this time of the year. How's your running going?

Well done! Wow, that sounds so tough! Amazing job completing the UTS 25K.
I do too, the smell of wild garlic is so nice!
I have been running about 10-20 miles a week, but I am still struggling with my hip flexor injury. I think poor flexibility was the root cause of it so i have been stretching every day, which seems to be helping.

It was really tough but it's good to know I can push myself further even when it does get difficult. I've underestimated the benefits of stretching and strength workouts. Since my injuries and having physiotherapy I can really see how important it is to incorporate those to stay injury-free. Hopefully your hip isn't holding you back too much with training. 10-20 miles a week is still a decent distance, more than I've managed recently and I'm starting Marathon training again in a week or two 😬

I'm looking forward to seeing your video on the uts 25k, the race must have been epic!
Thank you, I have managed some cross training aswell so i don't feel too held back. I hope your injuries have all been recovering well.
Good luck with your marathon training! I'm sure you will be crushing Chicago marathon after another 5 months of training.

@@JPruns Thank you. The views in Snowdonia are amazing. I'm looking forward to better training this time and hopefully feel like I've run a better Marathon 🤞🏻 I'm looking forward to having some structured training again. It's all been a bit sporadic over the last 2-3 months. Glad your training is going okay 😊

I do try to run hills when I can but there just aren't really any where I live. It certainly helps build strength 😊
