Just messing around with the Rev 5, getting used to the jog wheels. Hopefully this Jersey Club track that I used doesn’t get me flagged for copyright violations.
I've only used Pioneer's lower tier controllers, so I was used to the plastic construction and I'm pretty happy that it's not heavy. The road case I bought for it is about twice the weight of the controller.
I have the DDJ Rev 5 its ok with the Dj pro app However I wish Dj Pro in the next update have better skin options to match the Rev 5 controller dont want to look at the screen everytime I need to use my staples and SFX I have been trading and buying stand alone studio gear lately becuz sometimes you dont want to look at a computer screen when you are creating mixes or Dj-ing mash ups songs
@@djpapajohnif your talking about pads second stem layer then no you need to map that. Top pads work though for stems. You can also split stem like in Serato. It’s really easy to map is djay pro. I’ve mapped parameter buttons to beat jump for example.
@jazzyjase123 Thanks. I figured it out. However, it is glitching with my rane one and Rev 5. I do a lot of stemming. I have a M1, and serato seems to handle everything better.
that's dope! i just ordered mines, i have turntables but i've been wanting a quality controller, this will be my first!
You’ll love it!
Pretty dope controller I just wish them jogs were as good as the cdj 3000’s then it would be bad ass!
Sick
The features and controls are good but i was disappointed with the build quality when i got it.

@@logisticalstyles Its great with djay Pro.

Thanks for checking out the videos. I really haven't had time to offer lessons but I will be making more tutorial videos.

So I’m looking at switching to djay pro within the month. Were there any features you had to map? Or was it straight plug and play?
I bought mine after the djay Pro update that included Rev5 support. I didn't have to custom map any features. It was all Plug and Play for me.
@logisticalstyles so the double press for stems works with Djay pro?

Which flight case do you use for it?
Headliner Road case
How do you like the Rev5?
@@DJGaryP I love it. It feels great and has lots of great features.
So rev 5 works perfect and easy plug and play with rev 5 …no mapping or a lot of changes
@@jesustirado743plug and play. You can tweak if you want as djay pro is so easy to map.
