My Homie called today while I was setting up for a wedding asking about the Rev 1 finished the wedding and Driving home this Video popped up shared immediately.
I use it with VirtualDJ and hv no complaints really. Integration on point and everything is responsive. The stems buttons are a plus with allows room for playing around with stems efx a bit easier.
Nice! I have the 1U underneath my Rane One and installed a patch panel on there... I can quick connect to the XLR and provide power via PowerCon. You can get a custom one made from Redco
Hey! So, I was on the Rev1 and Rev5 teams (also Rev7), and I just wanted to tell you that I really love seeing videos like this. I’m glad you are liking it, and also thank you for the feedback! Lemme take a look at the jog response in djay.
Wow, I bet your job is pretty awesome. Good to know that the people who design these products actually listen to the users. Let me know if you need more input on the jog issue.
It looks dope but I'm not into 4 channel controllers. If I ever upgrade to a moving platter controller then it would be the Rev 7. I'm just not sure about the extra weight for a motorized controller.
I owned the DDJ-REV1 had it since the initial release LOVED it but ended up selling it due the same reasons you mentioned but it’s a fantastic compact board….and I already owned the RANE ONE I got the DDJ-REV5 in November of 2023 after doing a preorder back in August 2023 that backorder was brutal LOL 😆 I use DJay Pro AI but I’m a Serato guy and use it at every gig. Wonderful video!
I'm using 2 SC5000M's and cannot go back to using a laptop. I have the built in wifi as you know and apart from doing karaoke gigs, I do not need to use a laptop. They are a hassle and another thing you have to bring and hook up. I think you have a nice set up though. EDIT it doesn't have stems which is a dud but it's ok, I never used stems before stems so it's all good something I have to deal with.
👍🏾Another great video thanks for the info Styles But what's your reason for the laptop and the iPad at the same time I'm just curious. Is it to have music on the fly that you might get requests from that you wouldn't have at the moment and needed to have another option for or something else.
I have an analog mixer. I have a Mackie 6 channel mixer, but every gig doesn't need that. Small gigs where I just play music and make minimal announcements can get by with the built in mic input.

Yeah I love mines too player!!! It’s light and I’m a mobile DJ!!! I totally down sized my set up and so glad I purchased the Rev 5!!!!!

That sounds dope. I added XLR connections to my Rev 1 case. I’m gonna do the same to my Rev 5 case and add some power connections.
When you set up your Mac mini. Please make a video to see your set up!
Will do!

I love my rev 1. I'm a bit conflicted tho, I want to like the rev5 but the rane performer is looking on point.

Nice love mines so far no problem yet.

Yeah that back order was tough. I tried to be patient but I ended up making some bad decisions before the Rev 5 was finally available.

If you’re using two separate tidal accounts will it still stop?
Two separate accounts will work with no problem.
@logisticalstyles have you tried the Rane One? Would like to know your thoughts!
I've only played on it once. I liked it but I didn't use it long enough to form a solid opinion.
stand alone units need stems and I’d be happy ❤
I'm just curious. What worked for you and did not work for you.. or did you like & not like about the Mixon 8?
I had two different units with jog wheel issues. I have a couple of videos about it: ruclips.net/video/keS0y6pdkhc/видео.htmlsi=rl240OWvsZXvDav4
@@logisticalstyles Thanks

Yeah, I set them both up for backup purposes. When I do a non wedding gig I usually just set up one device.
Gotcha good info
Can you put feet risers on the Rev 5? My friend got a Rev 7 & he put risers on it
Possibly. I'm sure there are some that can be attached with Velcro or double sided tape.
Get an analog mixer stop using the garbage that’s built into the controllers.
Or buy a digital mixer
@@jamiealite That’s what I was saying to myself I got the 6 channel Mackie
@ I have 3 a Yamaha mg06 Yamaha mg 12 and an Allen & heath cq-18t
I’ll never ever use the built in garbage on the controllers.

@@georgemapp2855 I have the 6 channel Mackie as well.
@@logisticalstyles should not matter whether every event needs it or not. it will amplify your sound much better.
